[Izuku did say that he was going to host a small research... club? Association? He has no idea what he'd call it. Still, it's easier to gather information when there are multiple people who can show up and help.]

There's a lot to deal with, so let's start with the timeline of events.

[In comes Lavi, who easily pops out of nowhere.]

I think you can July 5th onto there with Tanabata and Lady Orihime.

[Lavi pauses, a faint look on his face.]

And the mention of two people dead that day.

[Since Naoto had been invited along to this gathering by Souji, she felt it best to sit in a corner and refrain interject into proceedings. Her original plan was to just quietly observe, listen, take notes and try to catch herself up as much as possible on everything that has happened. Thus, she's grateful for Izuku's printout. After skimming through it twice, Naoto raises her hand politely, waiting to be acknowledged before speaking.]

Please excuse me if I perhaps missed it while skimming these notes, but am I correct in understanding that Amaterasu has never made an in-person appearance during any of these events?

[ Thumbing through the pages, a cup of tea sitting at her side, Lux curls a hand at her lips, the other hovering at her elbow. She doesn't look perplexed as much as she looks pained. ]

Could you tell me more about this rebellion referenced here? And about the events on the fifteenth of April; I know you gave a brief synopsis, and I'm trying to figure it out from this statement here—

[ She gestures at Minamimoto's.... whatever it is he's saying, does anyone even really understand this guy?, looking somewhat apologetic. ]

[Alright this is a pretty simple request "Please help me get a puppy!"

... The person in question can't be that old if they're using exclamation points this way.]

Alright, let's go help them get a puppy. Probably something not too big, if they live in Tokyo like this they're probably in an apartment. A bigger dog would just end up feeling cramped... do you think a shelter knows how big their puppies are going to get?

[ Shouto rubs the back of his neck, fingertips pressed gently into his shinki name as he considers that question. It's not like he knows a lot about dogs, really, but he knows enough? At least in terms of size... ]

Maybe. If they know what breed it might be. Don't puppies have big paws if they're going to get a lot bigger than they currently are? Like a shiba inu won't have very big paws because it's a small dog...

July 11, evening, Johan

[Somebody had contacted him in an effort to learn how to fight. While Izuku isn't exactly formally trained in any particular martial art, he does have his basics down.]

So... where did you want to start?

Anywhere you think is good. I don't really have knowledge on how to fight at all.

[And relying on his Duel Monsters isn't something he wants to do.]

July 12, daytime

Awwwww yeah, Akihabara!

[Barry's happy he's made at least one otaku friend that he can come out here shopping with. Not that he isn't happy to drag whoever along with him, but it's nice when you're with someone that really gets it.]

Lessee, there should be some new Magic Girl Development Planning merch comin' out soon... definitely gotta reserve that. What're you lookin' for today, Izuku?

[He laughs a little, but he's honestly happy to be out. There's one particular figure he's had his eye on for a while.]

July 12th, evening.

[Here they are in front of the animal shelter again. He should've known things weren't as simple as they looked. Now to find the ayakashi that's been causing problems for people...]

Can you sense anything?

[ As they stand there, he tilts his head back and closes his eyes. His brow furrows just slightly but his expression remains otherwise at rest, as he filters out Izuku's presence at his side. Something had prickled at the back of his mind when they'd come by yesterday, but it must be that it was during the day, and this is night, that he can feel it more.

Shouto's eyes open, and he turns his head to look just past the entrance and along the length of the building. ]

Yes. There's definitely an ayakashi here.

July 13th, noon

[Another ayakashi tied to a Tanabata prayer, it looks like. This time an ayakashi that feeds off of the uncomfortable energy of people having misunderstandings.

Their best bet to find something like that is to go somewhere crowded and look for it. So now they're in Shibuya.]

Alright. Um... Maybe a couple's date spots? If it feeds on misunderstandings it might target couples or people who are planning to become couples.

[ So, not an ayakashi they would have to deal with if it wasn't a prayer Izuku took. At least, that's what Shouto thinks - honesty is his direct route to everything, which means... you know, generally avoiding these kinds of things.

He just tilts his head, shifting where he's standing as he looks around a bit. ]

I wouldn't know from experience, but a lot of TV shows and movies have that as a stupid plot thread. What sort of date spots, though?

July 13, evening

["Please help me adjust to having a stepson."

It seems like a simple prayer, but those can always go wrong. It could get... much more intense and there's always the potential of an ayakashi showing up.

He's managed to find the wishmaker's house, a large traditional Japanese one in Kyoto. It's something that reminds him of Shouto, and something that he'd never get this close to at home. It's intimidating how rich these people must be.

But he's a god and he can't leave a prayer like this unanswered.]

So... apparently he's gotten married recently and his wife's son is distant. He'd like them to be closer.

[Are either of them really the right people for this?]

[icyhot]

[ There's no intimidation on Shouto's side of things. On the contrary, he's actually fairly at ease right now, because there's familiarity in this place. He looks around, observing the neighborhood at large, as he turns the prayer over in his head, and...

Wonders, really, if they're the right people for this prayer. Mostly on a gut feeling, but still. He wonders.

It's not like Izuku will drop the prayer, though. ]

What, exactly, is the plan with this one, then?

July 14, afternoon

[He sure did get another letter but is Kaede trying to make him work miracles here? There's only so much he can do. He's spoken to Fuujin on the network once and it was months ago.

His talk with Kaede was a bit more recent but she's right, they've only spoken once. Again, over the network. He wonders who the other person she tried to introduce Fuujin to was... It sounds like it didn't go particularly well...]

Todoroki?

[He'll hand the letter over.]

[ Shouto, who had been laying on the floor with Kuchan, gets up when the letter is delivered, carrying the cat with him like she's a baby and letting her hold onto his left hand with her paws. He's patient as he waits for Izuku to read the letter over, eyebrows raising as he takes in his reaction to it.

And then his eyebrows raise further when he reads the letter, himself, once he's freed his hand to take it. ]

Isn't this the one that gets in arguments with the new arrivals?

[ He might not be active on the network, but he knows that much. ]

July 18th, late evening

[He's outside of his newly renovated temple and standing on the bridge over the moat.

It's been a hell of a day, but he's really not doing anything that can't be done later. If Lavi wants to meet, then there's probably something important.]

[It doesn't take Lavi very long to get to Izuku's temple, slowing his steps the moment he sees the god waiting on the bridge.

He immediately heads over to him.]

Deku.

July 18th, noon

[HE SURE DID FIND A DEAD BODY.

After the investigation took much longer than he was expecting, he stumbles into the living room of his temple. He sinks into one of the couches. The shock hasn't worn off.

Izuku is staring blankly at the television that isn't even turned on. He completely misses the noise of somebody padding downstairs.]

[icyhot]

[ After the... chaos, of literally everything, Shouto has been trying to update things around the temple since its change, dealing with the effective reset in his interior design work. (Rude, Hibari.) Bakugou punching a damn hole in a door? "Eh." It was just Bakugou being Bakugou - memories or not, it was whatever, an instinctive shrug at his antics.

This was a much bigger irritant, and was interrupted by the whole time discrepancy that happened.

So he's been working on it, since he and Izuku went about their separate business. And when he comes down after a shower, he freezes, taking in Izuku's blank stare. ]

... Midoriya? [ The concern is like a lance through the bond, and he doesn't hesitate to pad closer. ]

July 22, noon.

[Stray cats, huh? This seems a little more like Souji's thing, but he can't let a prayer like this go unanswered. Cats are cute and deserve to be taken care of, even if he's pretty sure one is enough for home.

So they're at the pet store that Souji recommended, looking through the dried food.]

How many strays do you think there are in Tokyo?

Dunno. I’m gonna say... a lot.

[ Helpful as always, Demyx is. Looking at a massive bag of dry food, he tilts his head and scratches his cheek. ]

Meowma-Mia?

[ A pause. ]

Wait -- Meowma-Mia!? Get it?! We should totally get this one!

[ And he breaks out into a fit of giggles, right there in the store, slapping his knee and doubling over as he cackles.

Hopefully Izuku wasn’t wanting to take this whole prayer thing too seriously. ]

July 20, noon.

[I'm trying really hard, but this pressure is getting to me! I knew the world of fashion would be a challenge, just not this intense... is what was written on the prayer he received. He's pretty sure that this... isn't... actually Aidos' area of expertise. It's not about modesty or humility, but if somebody needs help, he's not about to turn them down.

Shouto is definitely more fashionable than him, but he's not exactly great for soothing people. And Demyx... is not that fashionable, so time to turn to someone outside of his household.

Time to phone a friend.

He sounds... a bit tired on the phone, but maybe he just hasn't been getting a lot of rest.]

Do you know anything about fashion or fashion inspiration?

[ She wasn't expecting a phone call from Izuku and, quickly picking up the phone, she sounds a bit rushed. ]

Hello, Izuku, what is—

[ She stops, pausing to blink a few times. Wait, where was this coming from all of a sudden? Pulling the phone away from her ear to look at it almost incredulously, she answers after a few seconds of silence. ]
