[ Bandou wasn't expecting to get a random text from Shouhei. And he certainly wasn't expecting the guy to say he was on his way over without any sort of reason given on why he suddenly wanted to hang out. But at least Shouhei seemed to be open to becoming Bandou's friend again - even after Bandou had welcomed him to the far shore with a punch to the jaw.

But of course he did. The guy's too damn friendly. It's something Bandou's already frowning about while he stands outside of his new god's temple, waiting for Shouhei to show up. ]

[The punch to the face? It kind of felt familiar. And not exactly a bad kind of familiar. But the guy had helped him out somewhat. So why not thank him? And Yata putting that post on the network just gave him the best idea. After picking up the dog, he put it in a bag and headed right over to San-chan's temple.

When he arrives, he grins and waves.]

Hey, I found you! San-chan!

[He starts quickly moving over, the bag hanging by his side.]

[chickshades]

Don't be too proud. I told you where to go, after all.

[ Bandou pushes himself off the wall he was leaning against and moves to meet Shouhei half way. And the bag he's carrying doesn't go unnoticed as he raises an eyebrow at it. ]

What's that?

[brohat]

Heh... at least I didn't get too lost, right?

[Look, he's happy, don't ruin his happiness.]

Oh, a present!

[He comes up and hands it to him, and in it is a fluffy soft blue dog.]

[chickshades]

Next time just teleport here. Then I won't have to worry about you getting into trouble at all.

[ A present, huh? That's not something Bandou was expecting, but he takes the bag. And pulling out the stuffed toy, all he can do is raise an eyebrow. ]

A stuffed animal?

[brohat]

...Wait, teleport? How?

[He's been looking for strength. He didn't learn everything, whoops.]

Yeah... I thought you might like it. It's really soft.

[chickshades]

You can teleport between god's shrines.

[ Duh, Shouhei. Didn't anyone tell you this yet? ]

You didn't buy this, did you? [ Cause, you definitely could have gotten him something he's like more. Like some movies. ]

[brohat]

Oh! That's really cool.

[So uh... that's your answer.]

Oh, no. Someone was giving them away, and I thought you'd like one.

[chickshades]

[ He looks down at it again. As much as he really doesn't need this, it's nice knowing Shouhei was thinking about him. ]

Thanks, Shouhei.

[ He flips the toy over in his hands, scrutinizing it. ]

Blue's kinda a boring color though, don't you think.

[ Even with no memories, something about the color blue is just unappealing to him. ]

[brohat]

It's all they had for a dog. I thought you'd like a dog best!

[He's not sure why. He just gets that idea.]

I really wanted to get you red... next time!

[chickshades]

Yeah, red would definitely be better.

[ Does that mean there's gonna be a next time? If so: ]

But next time I'm gonna be the one giving you a prize!

[brohat]

Red's pretty great.

[He likes the bright color of red.]

Haha! Okay. Make sure it's red.

[chickshades]

Yeah, no problem. I can definitely win whichever one you want!

[ So much confidence when there isn't someone kicking his ass already. ]

[brohat]

Whatever you win would be good for me! I bet you'll win a lot of things, huh?

[Shouhei is not helping.]

[chickshades]

Yup. Maybe I can give you some pointers. Show you how it's really done.

[brohat]

I'd like that a lot. It'd be really fun!

[chickshades]

[ It's probably a bad idea since Shouhei will probably show him up with little effort. But at least Bandou can have this moment of pride while they aren't actually playing any games. ]

They'll probably have another event soon. It seems to happen a lot on the far shore.

[brohat]

Okay. We'll go together and do that.

[Is this a date? Maybe it's a date.]

I'm really excited! I don't get to do this normally...

[chickshades]

[ Bandou's smile slips slightly. Oh right, Shouhei doesn't remember all the times they spent together - both as kids and after they were members of HOMRA. So is it a date? The possibility of that hasn't even entered Bandou's mind. But it's certainly something he needs to reestablish with his best friend. ]

I'm gonna fix that. We should be doing more together anyway. I mean, cause we're friends and all.

[brohat]

Yeah! ...Let's do something really soon, okay?

[He's excited to hang out with a friend. He doesn't get many opportunities here, but San-chan really wants to. So he will.]

[chickshades]

We could do something now?

[brohat]

Really? What should we do?

[chickshades]

[ Bandou, that's a terrible idea. You're just gonna lose to him at everything you play. ]

[brohat]

Okay! That'll be fun. Is there one nearby?

[Shouhei will enjoy himself with San-chan no matter what!]
