The Far Shore has been dealing with a lot of space-time pulsating through the past week or so and everything is culminating on the night of the 15th, even though the Heavens are preparing for an all-out Obon bash. They had planned to have the celebration on the 15th itself, but Amaterasu asked to postpone a day due to the horrible feeling that is permeating the Far Shore.

And it turns out she was right to postpone everything. In fact, it will have to be postponed another whole month at this rate...



Before

Late in the day on July 15th, the new batch of shinki will arrive to a Far Shore with a thick, tense atmosphere. All night on the 15th it feels like something is about to happen - and it's difficult to tell whether that something will be good or bad. Any attempts to contact the management of the Far Shore have fallen on deaf, slightly harried ears and so everyone is left to their own devices to try and figure out why things are so tense.

July 16

Just after midnight, an explosive shock wave rips through the Far Shore, bringing on the age changes with it. Even the spirits of the Far Shore seem to be affected - for example, the library goblins are either toddling around on wobbly legs or are dragging themselves from place to place and looking decrepit. There are a few gods and shinki that seem to have been exceptions from the change, though it is not clear why.

July 17

Another wave of energy comes in the early morning of the 17th. Fewer people are affected this time and it seems to alter those people's ages a second time. There is no rhyme or reason to who is being affected further. Several of the library goblins have just dropped dead from severe old age. Oops.

Aftermath

Late on the 17th brings about one final burst from the energy that has been plaguing the Far Shore. For a short moment, every new temple glows with a soft light, seeming to beckon to their owners. But the light is gone quickly and everyone will find themselves back to normal with complete memories of everything that happened during their age adventures. The goblins that died, though, are still very dead. Looks like the library will need to get some new help soon.

[He'll take her hands!] My name is Izuku! [He doesn't want to be called
"Deku" right now.]

I will! I'll get big and strong and I'll always do my best... Um... what's your name, Miss?

[He's pretty persistant about that which is a strange. Dekuku never seem to mind the name Deku.

Still she squeezes his hands a bit swinging them cheerfully]

I know you will because you're you! Always give everything your best!

[She smiles more, letting go of his hand to hold up two fingers by her own cheek]

I'm Hajime! A Gatchaman! A Hero!

[At this age he doesn't want anybody using that nickname.]

Whoa... a Gatchaman? I haven't heard of them before! Are you like the Wild Wild Pussycats?

[birdstheword]

[A what? That makes Hajime blink, her head tilts to the side a bit]

Bzzt! Wrong. Gatchman are more bird like. We spread our wings and soar high. Hey, hey Dek--- Izuzu-chan! Want me to show you? We can patrol the city together!

[herofan]

But it sounds like you're part of a team like them!

Whoaa, you mean we can fly together?

I am but they're not here so I've teamed up with you, Izuzu-chan!

[She stands up, smoothing her skirt before taking her NOTE out and holding it up]

I can soaring more then fly, but lets go together, Izuzu-chan!

[She winks to him before holding the glowing NOTEbook up and bringing it down next to her face.]

Go!

[It's a trasformation that Izuku has so many times by now, but since he's small hopefully its cool enough. When the lights fades, there stands Hajime in her G-101 suit, glowing in all its colorful neon glory. Striking a pose and all before looking back down to her bitty best friend.]

Ready?

[She holds her hand out to him]

[The older Izuku might have seen it a dozen times before, but this tiny Izuku is absolutely captivated!]

You're like a magical girl hero robot!! That's so cool!

[He'll take her hand with a little bounce.]

Gatchaman~!

[She giggles, holding two fingers by her cheek. When he takes her hand, she holds onto his before lifting him. A bit of adjusting and he'll be held snuggly in her arms. She is mindful that shes full armored up so she doesn't hold him too tightly]

Let's go!

[And the wheels pop out from under the soles of her feet as she rollerblades off with him at high speeds. IzuzuHajime Patrol is on!]

Gatchaman!!

[He laughs as she starts rollerblading.]

We're going so fast!

[Anndd up the side of a building they go]

Yep! You gotta help me though, Izuzu-chan! We're gonna patrol together so I'm counting on you to, okay?

[This really is too much fun!]
