Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods (although there's none this time) and shinki



The product of many meetings and recommendations, at last it has taken shape. On this day, in anticipation of the new arrivals who appear in a recognized pattern, Heaven has partnered with the new gods and shinki to organize a very helpful informational reception.

The shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided kindly towards Bishamon's temple. And in that vast complex they are brought to a traditional-style dojo.
Here the newly arrived gods are gathered, so finding their partner is more simple. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the aspects of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki, or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.




God Training

Bishamon herself, as well as Amaterasu's ever-present shinki and any volunteering gods, will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of them, such as prayers. It is encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Newly arrived gods are still expected to communicate to their shinki the information* they themselves get oriented with when they arrive.

Shinki Training

Various volunteers are stationed around the building, passing out helpful informational pamphlets. There are many shinki, including Bishamon's and Amaterasu's, who will be more than happy to train in using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Bishamon's lead shinki Kazuma offers a lecture to new arrivals that will thoroughly cover some essential points about teamwork with both shinki and other gods.

Physical Training

The dojo is stocked with a wide variety of practice weapons, traditional and modern. There are volunteers here as well, willing to assist in basic training. (Or even more advanced sparring, depending on the volunteer.) Essential for gods who, for example, find themselves with a sword shinki but are at risk of cutting off their own toes.
Also useful for veteran new gods wishing to train with their current partner shinki.

Rest and Refreshments

There is a garden off the dojo that is free to be used for rest and conversation.
Should anyone wander outside the designated area, some shinki of Bishamon's will attach themselves to them and not leave them be until they return to the dojo.

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're just taking a quick break to cool down. Even hand towels are provided by Bishamon's helpful shinki. The Heavens wants everyone to stay in good condition!

"Kazuma. I wasn't sure if you were done." she said as he slipped his hand into hers. She squeezed his hand back, shifting her hand to link their fingers as she stepped closer to his side. They could afford a little familiarity, after all. It was just them.

"How are the new shinki? I trust they aren't giving you too much trouble..."

"Not too much trouble, nothing that couldn't be handled." Kazuma murmured as the butterflies in his stomach rioted. It would seem that even with them being an official item, doing such things in public (or as public as they could be in hiding) still provoked a sense of a thrilling gut-kick reaction out of him.

"And how were things on your end? Was there any new gods or goddess that proved to be wary of?"

Of course he'd say that. But that was something she admired about him. Kazuma was always such a hard worker. Her hand slipped out of his, moving to hug his arm with the smallest smile. It was a common gesture, one she usually did when they were at home and she felt comfortable enough.

His question earned a shake of her head. "There doesn't seem to be anyone who could seem to be trouble down the line." she sighed. But the smallest frown came to her brow.

"...there weren't any new gods this time around."

"I noticed," Kazuma couldn't help but laugh as Viina took a more familiar position at his side, and allowed for those oh so reactive butterflies to settle down to a mere fluttering. A mere fluttering that allowed him to finally notice just how much taller he was then her when she chooses to wear flats instead of her heels.

"I am curious if it going to be something new or if this was just a hiccup."

It was times like these that she gave off an air that was more woman than god. And how could she not when she was by his side? But there's a pause before she speaks, closing her eyes to think.

"It's too early to tell. If it happens again, then it was likely a fluke." she replied. "Until then... I trust you to act as my eyes and my ears."

"I will your anything, just ask for me." Breathed Kazuma, not wasting a second to provide her with a pledge of loyalty. "I already promise you that I will be at yours side, and there will never be another god to take your place in my eyes. I reasure you far too much." Kazuma answered passionately, his occupied arm tensing as he thought about the mere idea of leaving her for someone else.

She couldn't help but chuckle, stopping and stepping in front of him before placing a hand on his own. "I never doubted that for a moment, Kazuma..." she sighed, looking up at him.

But she paused, leaning up to press a kiss to the corner of his lips. "If I cannot trust my exemplar, who can I trust?"

"If I may be so bold to say it: if not your exemplar then perhaps have some faith in your boyfriend?" Kazuma whispered even as the very tips of his ears burned red in his boldness of actually using his official title in public. Despite how many times that he and Viina had kissed and used less then work relation terms for each other- having and using titles such as boyfriend and girlfriend still brought with it a certain shade of red and heated cheeks.
