[Whose the best person to assist in rebuilding stuff without being super strong?

Goten doesn't know but Yoon is going to be the first person he grabs. Literally. He's practically pulling and guiding Yoon along by hand with a huge smile]

C'mon Yoon. I betcha you'll be good at this. Let's help miss Ammy-lady with her temple!

[Yoon is somehow not surprised that, if he was ever going to find himself in this position, it would be thanks to Goten of all people.

No introduction to the fact that the boy can actually fly.

No introduction to the fact that the boy is actually incredibly strong.

Just... getting dragged along, all of a sudden, away from his god's temple.]

I don't know who this Ammy Lady is and I don't even know what you think I'll be good at, genius or not. Start from the beginning.

[Goten slows down a bit, still tugging him along as he looks back at Yoon]

Ammy-lady, that one god lady that is the boss of the other gods. Her temple got burned down and attacked. Don't you remember that? It wasn't that long ago. Shen needs help rebuilding it.

You mean Amaterasu? Her name isn't Ammy-lady!

[He rubs at his neck.]

I was there that day, I was helping to heal some of her shinki along with Yona. Is someone still burned from that?

[They would have to be pretty nasty burn wounds. Should Goten really see that...?]

....same thing.

[It isn't. Amaterasu is just hard to say. Much harder then Ammy-lady. Maybe he should call her Miss Ammy-lady to be more polite? HMMM]

I donno, maybe. They just need help and you like helping people right Yoon? So you and me can team up and help out more, together!

[Friends work together! What works? Teamwork!]

[He points at Amaterasu's place]

[Like helping people? Hmm. It was a tough call with Yoon. He knew that he enjoyed the reactions some people like Goten gave when he told them something they didn't know before, or made food they enjoyed, that sort of thing. But he also had this acute awareness of just how much he could afford to give up. He couldn't give thousands of meals away - he couldn't buy the raw materials that would even go into that much soup or rice or whatever.

But when it comes to Goten's more simplistic view of the world, he didn't want to tromp on that too hard.]

I'll help, but only because it's Amaterasu - and she's pretty important.

[Not just that she's a noble god whatever, that would make him more inclined to NOT help her. Just that she was important to keeping the peace. That he was on board with.]

We can probably do some simple tasks for now, like debris clearing for you and checking in on those wounded shinki again for me.

I think that'd work! I didn't know you were good at helping wounded people. I gotta come to you if I ever get hurt.

[Goten glances up at him]

Will you show me that sometime too?

[It seems with the call for help there are other shinki directing any helpers where to go on where they want to assist.]

I didn't know I was good at helping wounded people either. Then I got assigned a god who gets hurt all the time. So I figured it out pretty quickly. Showing up right before those zombies attacked a bunch of people didn't help either.

[He doesn't know he had a natural talent for it already.]

It's nothing special, just wrapping gauze and applying ointment where a wound needs to heal, that sort of thing.

[It's all he's re-figured out so far, aside from "lie still and don't move you idiot who nearly bled out to death."]

Come on, I'll make sure they let us help even if we look kind of young.

[Because they were currently trying to turn away a young-looking person a few people ahead of them already.]

That's still more then I can do. I know how to use band-aids though.

[Have a proud smile at that. The ointment thing though...]

I...think I can sorta make ointment, I mean I tried once and I think it helped.

[He's still unsure how that worked but his attention is quickly taken by the small line]

Are you sure? How are you gonna do that?

[As the near the front, already the shinki are looking at them skeptically before a polite greeting and: "We appreciate that you would like to aid Lady Amaterasu but we are looking for the assistance of those that are older and more experienced."]

Wait, you can make ointment too?

[This kid who could barely read a recipe in order to cook? He got taught by someone to make ointment of all things? He'd have thought food would come first, surely!]

By just convincing them we're shinki so we're probably older than we look anyway. Just assign us some task they would a grown up, it'll be fine.

[After all, Goten carried him, so he's strong. It'll be fine.]

Hey, you, there's still a bunch of debris on that side of the temple so we're going to go clean it up. After that we'll check on some of the other people who are helping out around here. If they got cut or hurt while helping, we can make sure they get a wrap on their injury.

[And he sounds so confident in their ability to do just that that the shinki looks at him appraisingly like... okay apparently this is a shinki who's been around for awhile, so is actually older than he looks.]

"Right then... report back when you're done."
