[ Open-ish ]
Who: Yona and castmates/adjacent CR
When: The days after the Age-Swap Event
Where: Yona's Temple
What: Catch-all to deal with fallout from the new arrivals and things discovered during the age swap event. Also probably a picnic.
[ The day after time is restored to normal, Yona sticks close to her temple, mind still reeling from what she had learned and the hectic events of the past few days. Between the arrival of her two newest shinki and some of the conversations she'd had with companions over the past few days, taking some time to process it seems the wisest of ideas.
But even though she doesn't venture far from her own temple, it doesn't mean she doesn't welcome anyone who stops by for a visit, clearly happy to greet anyone who stops by. Especially if they are people she needed to talk with anyway.
As for those staying in her temple, she does her best to make sure they get settled and comfortable, answering any questions she can to try and make this new arrangement as smooth as possible. And if there's a sudden resurgence of bad dreams in the aftermath of one particular shinki coming back to live in this place with her... well. She does her best to hide the evidence of it. ]

Her hand reaches for the box and a knife, and somehow she manages to cut the cake during the little love session. It's not the cleanest cut, but it's hard to see or keep your pulse when there's massive blond hair over your face.
She grabs the slice with one of her hands, turns around, and shoves it to Zeno's direction. Open your mouth!]
Here you go! You've been drinking too much wine so you need to eat, too!

[There's your cake opening! He's surprised! He tries to backtrack in his head... did he empty one bottle or two... Ahh, he thought he was so discreet!
But he's clear-eyed and isn't slurring his words more than the usual laziness would do.
He'll just eat cake for a bit...]

[She smiles at his expression while he eats.] I'm glad you're back to normal. You were pretty cute when you were a Dragon Warrior, but it was weird to hide things from you. I was really lost and didn't know what to tell you.

One for every person in the temple.
['Weird to hide things from you.' That's something he's never had cause to say in 2,000 years... might be a goal worth striving toward.]
There's probably was nothing good to tell... either to say "you're wrong" or lie by omission... but it worked out.

It worked out, but you were so convinced you were still home. None of the people you knew in the castle is here, right? You must've been alone on your own and not knowing where they went. Yona was probably worried; I can tell even if she haven't told me that.

[Zeno was less concerned about her being worried than he was about her being shocked... granted, it was nothing compared to the shock given to her by the king her cousin.
Truly, he's just grateful he was turned back into a new Dragon Warrior, not a new husband. If he'd turned her into an ayakashi with an ignorant greeting... not realizing...
Well. It wasn't worth worrying over now.]
Mm... human minds... [This is why it's easier to just not speak of these things. He doesn't want to spill Yona's private business any more than he does Kaya's. He doesn't want Kaya to make the connection between Hiryuu and Yona necessarily. He doesn't think she'll feel jealous (he does not, after all, steal kisses from Yona; Kaya has that on exclusive lock), but he doesn't want any awkward friction. It's so much easier to just be a passive observer, and let the currents of life flow past him.]
Zeno is somewhat resilient. Honestly, there were a dozen possibles reasons to be left alone in a palace... Zeno never got around to eliminating them all.

Your younger you was honest and serious. I'm not surprised that you've always been a kind guy, but the rest was a bit puzzling until I remembered you served a king god. It seemed way more stressful than the job as shinki.

'When you could communicate easier.' When did she pick up that idea? It's not exactly false, though the truth itself isn't hard, it's just... vast. And, well, a little hard. Painful. Inevitably, the story would be very upsetting. She was worried enough about him being left behind on a war campaign, if he told her he'd been left behind on the mortal coil, he wasn't sure her tender heart wouldn't break right in half.]
Because Zeno wasn't given a country to govern. Her ladyship the sun mistress has that on lock. Her shinki are probably just as stressed.

Oh no, poor shinki! And with their temple just burned, it just got worse. Maybe I should send them a cake like this one but I don't know them and it might be weird.
no subject
[If she's going to ruffle his hair he may just stay in that position. He could stay like this for a year.]
Free cake is the best kind of weird. It's been a while, but Zeno's spoken to her before. Perhaps she'd accept it on the shinki's behalf.
[They can't exactly refuse if she accepts, can they? Though Zeno doesn't say that out loud. Absolutely, Chise and Kaya would be allowed to refuse anything he accepts.]
no subject
Ah, but what if Lady Amaterasu eats it or wants some, too? We should give some extra cake for her, right? [Kaya didn't know Amaterasu, even though the goddess had been around in the party when she first arrived. No one had told her that the girl over there was the most important person.]
