When: The days after the Age-Swap Event
Where: Yona's Temple
What: Catch-all to deal with fallout from the new arrivals and things discovered during the age swap event. Also probably a picnic.

[ The day after time is restored to normal, Yona sticks close to her temple, mind still reeling from what she had learned and the hectic events of the past few days. Between the arrival of her two newest shinki and some of the conversations she'd had with companions over the past few days, taking some time to process it seems the wisest of ideas.

But even though she doesn't venture far from her own temple, it doesn't mean she doesn't welcome anyone who stops by for a visit, clearly happy to greet anyone who stops by. Especially if they are people she needed to talk with anyway.

As for those staying in her temple, she does her best to make sure they get settled and comfortable, answering any questions she can to try and make this new arrangement as smooth as possible. And if there's a sudden resurgence of bad dreams in the aftermath of one particular shinki coming back to live in this place with her... well. She does her best to hide the evidence of it. ]

He was pretty chatty. I think I understand better why he seems okay with me not being able to protect him with my powers. I thought it was because he lo-- [She shakes her head.] A-anyway! It's not? He seemed surprised I didn't know who he was. But actually... You know, I think I might come from a place where the legend of Hiryuu existed, because I started remembering little things about the story.

[ Yona's eyes widen slightly at that, because that's... something she's going to have to tread carefully with. ]

Ahh, have you? I know it was a popular legend where I came from as well, and there are some others that have heard it, but some have not in this place, as well. I always thought it a very interesting story.

Yeah, I never saw it on the mythology books at the library. It must've been interesting to befriend someone from a popular story, though! Can you tell me about the version you knew of that tale, please? I want to learn more about it, but if I ask the regular Zeno he'll probably be vague as always.

Ahh, I can! Was there something specific you wanted to know, or just the whole tale in general?

Just whatever you can actually tell me. [Maybe there are parts told in confident she's not allowed to say. Maybe there are secrets that Yona knows because she's a close friend and spent more time with him in her temple.]

Even if your version isn't completely true for Zeno's real story, it should be interesting anyway! As his exemplar and his... kinda girlfriend, I suppose? The more I know about his mythology, even the untrue parts, the more I can help him.

Wait, girlfriend?

[ Yona blinks, because this is news. She stares at Kaya a moment before glancing over at Zeno in surprise and then looking back at the shinki before her. ]

Are you...? Did you...? I had no idea! Truly? [ There is growing happiness in her tone as this information sinks in but there is also still a great deal of confusion. Zeno, you need to tell her these things! ]

[Kaya's face doesn't turn as red as Yona's hair, but her skin is doing its best.]

It, uh... Since Tanabata. So many things happened lately, with that creepy person attacking people, and then he got younger, so I didn't know if it was right to talk about it. They say it's taboo. But I don't think he's even trying to hide it so I don't see why not telling! Although the word girlfriend is a bit weird for him.

I can see how it might be a bit strange. But I think it is cute. [ Yona leans forward with a happy smile, propping her chin in her hands. ] Did you walk the bridge together?

It's cute, cute! I'm just really happy that he likes me back. [She nods with enthusiasm.] Yup, that's where he confessed! And we kissed after we talked seriously about it.

[ She gives a happy exclamation at that, clapping her hands together. ] Oh, that's wonderful! I'm so happy for you, Kaya! For both of you!

T-Thanks! [She blushes a lot. To think this all spiraled from getting jealous of the girl in front of her hugging him, right?]

This made the day he was stuck in the past a bit hard since he had no idea who I was, though. Good thing it didn't last.

I'm glad it didn't, as well. I think that would have made things even more confusing the longer it lasted.

[ She hadn't known how long she could keep up the ruse that Hiryuu might merely be "away" from the castle, after all. ]

He would've missed the king and the other dragon warriors. Well, maybe he still does, but at least now he knows where he is?

So I need to learn more about the story because of that. So I can help him and I can understand him if it happens again.

[ Yona winces. ]

I hope that whatever had caused it has been resolved in such a way that it will not reoccur. The first time around was confusing enough. But I will be happy to tell you what I know and answer any questions you have.

I hope so, too. Not just because you and I would be sad. He might get sad and I wouldn't be able to cheer him up so easily. Not his lord Ouryuu self, I mean.

[She pokes her own chin, pensive.]

So what he said when he confessed to me was that there was this god who wanted to be a mortal. And his brothers picked champions to protect him, kinda like shinki in a way. What Lord Ouryuu Zeno said was that he served King Hiryuu, he was a Dragon Warrior, and he wasn't given a power to protect him like the others. That's what I know from Zeno's mouth.

What I recall from my version of the legend was that there was this king who was a god, and he had four men who were dragons with him. Hakuryuu had a dragon hand, Ryokuryuu had a dragon leg, Seiryuu had dragon eyes, and Ouryuu had a dragon body. I think part of that might be true in his version, too, from what we talked. Still, I'd like to know the parts I'm missing.
