When: The days after the Age-Swap Event
Where: Yona's Temple
What: Catch-all to deal with fallout from the new arrivals and things discovered during the age swap event. Also probably a picnic.

[ The day after time is restored to normal, Yona sticks close to her temple, mind still reeling from what she had learned and the hectic events of the past few days. Between the arrival of her two newest shinki and some of the conversations she'd had with companions over the past few days, taking some time to process it seems the wisest of ideas.

But even though she doesn't venture far from her own temple, it doesn't mean she doesn't welcome anyone who stops by for a visit, clearly happy to greet anyone who stops by. Especially if they are people she needed to talk with anyway.

As for those staying in her temple, she does her best to make sure they get settled and comfortable, answering any questions she can to try and make this new arrangement as smooth as possible. And if there's a sudden resurgence of bad dreams in the aftermath of one particular shinki coming back to live in this place with her... well. She does her best to hide the evidence of it. ]

[ Shizuo doesn't even see himself as a fighter, amusingly enough. Despite the things Hak has dealt with personally, the Shizuo went along with the motions at an easy pace. Easy enough to nap and get all the good sun basking spots. ]

I don't know how to focus and stay on the fact that it's just one person, I guess.

[ Even his body anticipates something coming from the back or side, even if there's no reason for it. There was no reason for crowd-control type moves when there wasn't a crowd. ]

[Hak debates his next comment for a while, shifting so that he's more on his side than on his back now, and he finally responds with a sigh.]

I can offer up myself as a practice target if you want. [Just avoid his face.] It gets boring around here some days and I can only tend to the horses or practice by myself for so long.

'Target'?

[ He doesn't really like the sound of that word being used in this context. Yet the rest sort of... put things into perspective. ]

Ah... So you're lonely. Honestly, I'd be afraid of hurting you.

[Lonely? Of all the things to get from that... His voice is flat as he readjusts himself properly onto his back again and he shuts his eyes.]

Very lonely. We can punch each other until our hands turn red and then tend to the horses together until dusk when we will ride off into the sunset together on horseback.

Your hands would be broken blobs before mine even looked sore.

[ Geeze Shizuo, you don't have to take that so literally. Yet it's what he follows it up with that really points out the reason he said that. ]

Then it'd just be Jae-Ha left to tend the horses, because I'm not good at that kinda thing, and I'd have to explain everything to Yona.

[ That's a lot of work, and he's not even entirely serious. Shizuo is capable of recognizing some dry humor. ]

You don't have to explain anything to Yona. Wouldn't want to make her jealous that we've rode off into the sunset without her.

[But he's fine with leaving Jae-Ha to tend to the horses. It might help toughen up his aesthetic a bit.]

And I suppose in this fantasy, you're being hand-fed regularly. While we're still doing this riding away thing.

[ He's a little flatter about this, and inexperienced with maintaining this kind of joke. In fact, Shizuo's never humored this kind of conversation before.

Yet it's clear- Hak's hands are definitely much in this, no matter what. ]

[He laughs, not at the image but at the flatness of Shizuo's voice, and it's clear that Hak is far more amused about it than he should be. At least the guy has a sense of humour. He was beginning to worry.]

Only if it's free. I'm not a rich man.

[ It's hard to tell that the man was capable of humor just because he was so sincere all of the time. ]

Then I guess your dreams are ruined, because I'm not covering all the expenses in this.

[ There is no freeloading/sugar daddying happening in this fantasy. ]

[Aw, Shizuo. You'd make a great sugar-daddy. Especially with those super cool sunglasses.]

I'm new here, what do you expect? Yona doesn't pay me to pick fruit from the trees for her or take care of the horses.

[ See, things like this is why he ended up being a part of ridiculous rumors back in Ikebukuro. Not that he could ever remember. ]

She didn't ask you to do that, either. Learn the world better and I'll get you in contact with people to get a job.

[You don't know that, Shizuo. You don't know that she didn't ask! Okay, he might have been spreading things about Yona throughout the entire duration of the picnic, but who's to say that none of it is true? No one will know unless they ask her themselves...]

I'll do that, then.

[And he moves to get up, about ready to head back.]

In the meantime, I'll try not to cause too much trouble.

[ Except... Out of everyone, he probably knows the best? Even as Hak gets up again, the blond seems content to stay where he is. ]

Good. Though I'm not really worried about you being the one to cause trouble. Unless you keep making things up so Yona sounds like a tyrant.

[ Then again, how would he know if you go off doing that? ]

I've done no such thing.

[That brings the count up to what, now? Three?

He gives Shizuo a wave over his shoulder and makes his way back to the picnic where everyone is waiting.]

You should come back soon. Yona's probably worried about you.

[And with that, he's off.]
