Who: Yona and castmates/adjacent CR
When: The days after the Age-Swap Event
Where: Yona's Temple
What: Catch-all to deal with fallout from the new arrivals and things discovered during the age swap event. Also probably a picnic.


[ The day after time is restored to normal, Yona sticks close to her temple, mind still reeling from what she had learned and the hectic events of the past few days. Between the arrival of her two newest shinki and some of the conversations she'd had with companions over the past few days, taking some time to process it seems the wisest of ideas.

But even though she doesn't venture far from her own temple, it doesn't mean she doesn't welcome anyone who stops by for a visit, clearly happy to greet anyone who stops by. Especially if they are people she needed to talk with anyway.

As for those staying in her temple, she does her best to make sure they get settled and comfortable, answering any questions she can to try and make this new arrangement as smooth as possible. And if there's a sudden resurgence of bad dreams in the aftermath of one particular shinki coming back to live in this place with her... well. She does her best to hide the evidence of it. ]

[ Her smile grows as he talks about this, because it feels like such a Yoon thing to take delight in, which makes her both happy and achingly sad. ]

That sounds amazing. Perhaps I shall have to look for one of these and try it one day. It certainly sounds as if it would be delicious. they've certainly found such amazing ways to make food here, have they not?

It should be amazing - what people can make when they aren't worried about survival.

[ He can't place why he feels so strongly about it, but it only got stronger by virtue of serving a god that wasn't getting a lot of prayers to answer. ]

By the way... I barely remember it, but something about a refrigerator? When I was here before, as a, uhm... when I was little?

[ Yona blinks and then starts to laugh at that. ]

You were very fascinated by it. Not that I can blame you. I think it's one of the most useful things this world has created.

[He looks a little embarrassed as his expression heelturns in an instant.]

If I was fascinated, I must not have left for an hour. I'm sorry you had to deal with that.

[He's starting to feel like he owes her at least a meal in return for taking up so much of her time, surely.]

[ She just laughs that off, shaking her head with a fond smile. ]

I'm not sorry at all. I enjoyed your visit. You're welcome here any time, Yoon, no matter what the reason. It was fun.

[He has the decency to blush a bit. It feels like a compliment for someone like him - that she actually enjoyed his geeky company.]

Any time? You probably don't want me showing up at pre-dawn though.

[Basically, when breakfast is started if he needs to make fresh bread or go shopping for fresh ingredients as someone without a fridge.]

Of course I did. We had very interesting conversations. I was happy to have the company, to be honest.

[ She's missed his presence more than she can say, but had been unsure how to seek it out without revealing too much about why she might be so interested in him. it had resulted in her watching over him as best she could from a distance. ]

Although pre-dawn might be a little early, even for my temple. [ She laughs softly. ] You keep very busy here, don't you?

I have to make three meals a day, so if I want fresh bread that I don't have to store overnight, of course I have to get up at pre-dawn to start that.

[For him, it's purely practical. He doesn't have a need to stay up very long after dusk either, so he has enough energy to wake up that early every morning.]

I'm... mm... glad that you were happy.

[He can't pin it down either, but it seems to him a rare accomplishment that something he does would bring joy to someone, since he's still coming from a place of expecting his old life to have been quite difficult.]

[ She cocks her head to the side, considering how he'd phrased that. ]

Do you enjoy it?

[He takes a second to think about it, but finally nods.]

Not as much as reading, but I do like it.

Have you found many interesting books to read here?

A lot of things are interesting to me - there's so many things I'm not familiar with, especially with stuff like this.
