[When Kanji draws attention to her crying, Naoto's attempts to cover her tears become more obvious but remain about as effective at stemming their tide. She rubs her eyes with the back of her sleeves, several times. She doesn't want him to see her crying either, but, at this point, she doesn't feel like she can help it. All of the frustration, the anger, the sorrow, the despair, the loneliness, all the negative feelings she'd been bottling up since her arrival finally were overflowing out of her. She turns away from Kanji, her last desperate move to keep him from seeing her cry. Her shoulders, however, continue to shake. She doesn't say anything, knowing her voice will come out too choked if she tries to respond at the moment.]
