[ He'd be more skeptical if you were 15 or something. Given that the adults mostly seem to be level-headed, and Luna was an adult the entire time, he trusted that her choices were hers, and responsible enough. ]

[ Even if they were normal young person problems, there was nothing normal about how he released that frustration. Though at this point he was down in an awkward position in trying to rub his leg, which was already looking a bright red around the ankle, but trying to keep the slung arm from being pushed around or tilting his head in a way to make that hurt even worse. It's a pretty awkward position. Initially, he can only seethe out one word in response. ]

Hurts.

[ Which... Makes sense, given that this is a kid and the poor tree has definitely taken the worst of the damage. Amusingly enough, him being in pain is most of the reason why this all happened. ]

Not lost. Just got- pissed off.

[ She reaches out towards him, if he'll let her touch him. She's just trying to figure out how bad it is. ]

[ Wait, he knew that name. It was enough to get the boy to forget his pain and look up properly at the woman. Well, he could definitely see some of the connections. Figuring that out is enough where he doesn't even really flinch or do anything to protest her touches. ]

[ Though there really wasn't any reason why people would link his child self to his adult appearance. Oh wait, there's that pain again. Remembering it has the child back to rubbing his leg in hopes that it eases things up a bit. ]

This is only gonna last while I'm stuck at this age, I think. Even yesterday was fine, really.

Everyone else I've met at your age hasn't remembered the Far Shore at all, but you do. How weird...

[Regardless, she reaches down to help rub his leg in the same spot.]

Yeah. I only saw one other person today that's aged similarly and still remembers things normally.

[ It's why he's been careful to ask how old people really are, what with Yona having been just past toddler age yesterday. ]

... Yeah, probably a muscle or something like that.

[ He might've really given himself a hairline fracture right in the shin. His ankle hurts too, but it was a little more dulled there. Not that the guy/kid admits that much. Not when so much of him was already in bad enough shape. ]

[ She rubs a little more, trying to lightly massage it. ]

I'm lucky - I've gotten a massage a couple of times before, so I can use the same hand movements to try and loosen that muscle up for you. Enough to help you get home, at least.

[ She finishes it with a small tap and then stands up again. ]

[ Whether it's helping or just putting pressure on the pain, the kid holds his tongue. Mostly because while Kairi looked like an adult, she was a kid (in the way that all teenagers counted as kids to him,) and he didn't want someone that was trying to help to feel bad about it. The sentiment was nice. ]

[ He's not about to get ready and run off, though. ]

[ He was yesterday, but then he would've been a child of the wrong age instead. ]

No clue who this Baron person is, but I know a lot of kids either went or were dragged off to the school for some reason. Probably to hole up and cause trouble or hide. Maybe both.

[ He doesn't know most of the heaven's population, but it was easy to imagine that a lot of them were troublemakers as kids. Especially when so few of the people that were aged down still had their real minds. At least everyone that was aged up proved to be fine. Which- Well, that made sense anyway. ]

Ah- I woke up with them, and the medical stuff. Figured it's just because this is how I was at this age.

[ He didn't question it too hard. With the shinki mark on the back of Shizuo's right hand, just poking out of the sling, it wasn't really a surprise. ]

[ As the rice heats up enough, Shizuo puts the pan over to the side, also making sure it's further away from Yona so that she didn't burn herself. Looking over, the blond gently rests his hand on top of the girl's head, giving it the lightest of pats. She wouldn't be able to tell now probably, but this had honestly been the most relaxed that Shizuo has been since arriving at the Far Shore. ]

Mmm. Just like that. Ready for the next part?

[ He takes off his hand, moving over to gather a couple of things. Milk and a bit of salt and pepper, bringing it all over to the counter. Taking the cap off from the milk, he'll explain things first before getting started with adding things. ]

You're going to stir again, so that the milk and seasoning mix nicely with the eggs. Because the eggs are already mixed together, it'll be easier for it to look blended. Ready?

[ She bounces excitedly atop the stool, watching as he puts together the ingredients for the next part, looking delighted at being allowed to help. They'd never let her do things like this back home!

When he slides the bowl back, she very carefully mixes the ingredients once more, giggling quietly before deciding it looked well mixed. She glances up to him for approval again, smiling brightly. ]

There, I think it's ready!

[ He keeps a careful eye, just to make sure she doesn't lose footing on the stool, but otherwise stayed relaxed and let her mix. Giving a glance into a bowl, the smile would've been sign enough to someone older that he was probably going to praise her no matter what. ]

Yup, that's mixed pretty good. The rest you'll just have to watch, because kids shouldn't be using the stove.

[ She'll get another light pat on the top of her head before Shizuo collects the bowl of egg mix and takes out a second pan to start making the omelette part of the omurice. ]

So I don't burn myself, right? [ She still leans on the counter anyway, eager to watch what he's doing. ] You should be careful, so you don't burn yourself either.

Yeah, that's right.

[ He glances over to make sure Yona isn't too close to the stove when she leans on the counter, but otherwise lets her be. As long as she didn't fall- to which he was close enough to stop what he was doing and catch her. Though he'd prefer if she didn't fall in the first place. ]

I'll be careful too. Though I'm not so worried about getting burned or anything.

Well, I can worry! [ She's steady enough where she's perched. Arms folded atop the counter, she rests her chin atop them as she watches what he's doing. ] I don't like it if you get hurt!

It wouldn't really hurt, y'know.

[ Because whether or not he feels the injuries is what totally matters. Yup. ]
