No. I don't. My memory is rather fuzzy. I would rather like to remember what my purpose is here.

[It definitely doesn't help his sickly appearance. Now it looks like he got stabbed. Probably a good thing he didn't have a knife to give her. It'd look way too suspicious.

She expected him to get upset, but he actually laughed. This made her a bit more embarrassed, but she was relieved. Any trace of that vanished at his next statement though.]

[Her voice might've been a tad bit more defensive than she wanted it to be. Totally not because she was conscious about it or anything.]

[Chinatsu hands over the other half of the pomegranate to him, though she's still pouting a little.]

[She picked the pomegranate, not remembering if you can or can't eat pomegranate seeds. The rest of it should be fine though, right?]

[ That sounds about right. His light colored pajamas are now covered in red pomegranate juice. What a day this turned out to be. Normally, he'd be a bit more upset with the whole ordeal but he's not. Strangely enough, it might be something he needed after being out and about on his own while waiting for his look alike to return. ]

Do you happen to know what the God looks like? There are apparently many here.

[ He muses lightly between his chuckles. He was a bit of a teaser if she hadn't noticed. ]

[ He takes it into his hand what she offered but made no move to really eat it just yet. ]

That's a cruel statement don't you think? I didn't ask to be born this way.

[ When she said that his mood suddenly changed, as if she had hit something she shouldn't have. Not that it was her fault but he wasn't going to leave it unanswered. ]

[Chinatsu whips her head in his direction.]

[Her face started to go red from embarrassment and guilt. She definitely didn't mean to insult his weak constitution. Oh god why was he making that kind of face?!]

You're okay as you are!! I mean--not really, like it'd be great if you got better--but you're fine! I was talking about personality!!

[ Even if she didn't intentionally mean those words to him, they were said and he had taken it as such. It was by no means her fault though. Ichiru was someone who was very easily affected by what people had to say about him and clearly, it made him a bit uncomfortable and unhappy ]

Is it not natural to feel like such words are deterred towards you when it is vaguely brought up?

[ He muses giving her a look. Though, it was true. It's not her fault he was offended by it. He had made her feel guilty and embarrassed because of what she had honestly said. ]

[ He looks at her seriously as she said those words. What a kind person. Those were the kinds that would easily be manipulated, but he had to admit she did seem to know how to put her words together well. ]

[She answered defensively.]

[How was she supposed to fight a sick person?

At his question, she stared at him for a moment. That was a pretty heavy question.]

Honestly? I don't know. We just met. I don't think you're a bad person...but it's kind of too early to really tell.

It seemed like you were directing the comment towards me, however.

[ he replies softly. Though, there was no hostility behind it-- merely a statement. ]

[ He replies giving her a look. ]

I suppose so. I'm sorry for asking.

[ He replied leaning back. ]

[She leans back as well, turning the pomegranate in her hand.]

....Ithink you're pretty brave for asking. I'd be scared to ask what people thought of me.

[ He stares at his shirt and then the red fruit that stained his shirt. Well, he could change later. There's no point in complaining over this. ]

Is it really? It's honestly not a surprise. I'm fairly used to being ostracized by society. At least, I feel as though I've always have been but I cannot remember those instances.

[He's used to it? How does someone get used to that? She looks back at him, cleary bothered by that.]

[ It's pretty hard to explain w =hen he can't remember a damn thing about all of his memeories. ]

Perhaps it was merely because I do not meet certain expectations. After all, there isn't much one can do with a sickly body.

[It kind of sounded like someone was bullying him or something...and that was pissing her off.]

I don't recall anyone ever sympathizing with my situation, however I don't want sympathy or pity.

[ He replies keeping mostly to himself. ]

It's only a matter of time. I do not know when I'll ever be cured of this.

I'm not cheering you on out of pity. I'm pissed.

[She clciks her tongue.]

You don't have to wait for that. You're just wasting time! Just do whatever it is you wanna do!

[ For that he sort of chuckles. ]

It's not as easy as going out and doing it. I can't walk for too long before I'm bedridden with a fever, though I suppose choosing where I die would be ideal.

[Okay, it was still a dark way of talking, but it was sorta heading in the right direction.]

Getting sick sucks...but it's better than being cooped up inside. If you get tired we can just rest under some tree again!

[ He gives her a blank stare for her strange sense of encouragement. He didn't really get it but she wasn't all that bad. He gave her props for trying. He was a rather dark character to begin with so these conversations were rather cryptic if anything. ]

Optimistic aren't you? I suppose that's not a bad way of living. Perhaps, I can attempt to do just that.

[She was pleased with him wanting to at least try. Small steps, right?{

[Chinatsu gives his back a strong pat.]

Gotta be confident in yourself after all! Doesn't matter how many others believe in you if you don't even just a little. You gotta do it for yourself.

[ For now anyway. When he regresses, she's going to be pretty unhappy but details. ]

[ He chuckles at her. ]

[Chinatsu just grins in response, neither confirming nor denying that statement.]

[She reaches over to feel the cloth on his forehead.]

It's not cold anymore. I'll go wet it again.

[Peeling it off of him, she places her fruit down and gets up from the ground. She points at him.]

Don't leave, ok? Stay right there!

[Without waiting for his response she runs off.]

[ Ichiru half chuckles at her reaction. She was a strange girl-- really. ]

[ He waved his hand lightly. ]

[ There she goes again. He really doesn't understand the gesture of others. Especially ones that aren't shown out of pity or sympathy. ]

[Listening wasn't exactly her strong point. The trip to and back was a little more pleasant since he was conscious now and she wasn't as worried. Plus, she could look forward to hanging with him more.

When she returns, she's glad to see him still there. ~~He did say he was waiting for someone Chinatsu~~]

[She announces unnecessarily, placing the cloth back on him. Along with the pomegranate stains, she's now got some mud on her as well.]

[ It clearly wasn't and all he could really do was lean back against the tree and await her return. She wasn't taking no for an answer. He simply closed his eyes as he waited for her to return.

There's not much he could do without Zero to help him move about. He was also again waiting for that said person. ]

You certainly are quick on your feet.

[ He chuckles gently as the girl placed the cloth back on him. She looked a little dirty, but it wasn't like he minded it too much. ]
