They are, I agree. I am still getting used to them myself, I confess. I am still a very new goddess and wonders such as these did not exist in the world I came from.

[ She talks as she straightens and fills him a plate full of a little of everything, including grabbing an apple from the basket on the table, one that had been picked in the orchards earlier in the day.

Motioning him to the table, she sets the plate down with a glass of milk for him before taking the chair beside his setting. ]

Here we are. If you're still hungry after this, I will get us a surprise for dessert, if you like.

[He's struggling with how he can ever repay her for all of this.]

I don't even know what dessert is, but it sounds like a present.

[His tone is quiet and vaguely ashamed as he says it.]

[ Yoon thinks that maybe he wouldn't have liked that if he wasn't getting his hair ruffled by this girl. But since it's her and she genuinely meant it as a friendly gesture, he just smiles back at her. Her smile seems infectious and his worries abate. ]

[ He starts to eat an apple with both hands, as if the precious fruit will disappear if he doesn't hang onto it tight. ]
