[She enjoys having that kind of close contact, hugs and cuddling and whatever else. It's the bonding that she likes. Off her shoes go, with no protest.]

I'll try to make sure we don't wait so long again. Of course, no matter what it is, I expect we'll wear ourselves out... and I know there's only one thing to do when my feet are tired.

[She grins over at him and then touches their noses together.]

Of course. I'm at your service.

[Forrest giggles, rubbing his nose affectionately against hers and giving it a little kiss before moving to her feet. He smiles warmly as he takes one of them in hand, dipping his head down to press a few tender kisses to her toes before starting the massage in earnest, starting with the middle of her sole.]

So soft... the amrita's really done its job well.

[Both hands go over her mouth.]

You KNOW that tickles more now!

[The side effects of the soft skin including being more susceptible to tickling.]

I like those kisses, I just wish that- hah!

[The hands go back over her mouth again.]

... Phew... I'll get used to this again.

I know.

[Usually she's the one who does the teasing, but every so often Forrest is feeling playful too. He's doing the massage properly now, though, so she can relax.]

Your feet have been through enough tonight, though. I promise I'll be good.

[Oh she does enjoy it when he gets playful, it's just harder when she's getting tickled specifically since she can't get back at him while she's laughing so hard.

In response, she reaches out to toy with the curls of his hair, kissing at it while he massages her feet.]

At least it was worth it. The dancing, a date with you... a nice massage afterwards...

[He gets a very fond smile from her as she takes the time to feel everywhere his fingers move along her feet.]

I promised you years ago that your feet would never be tired for long with me around. I intend to hold to that promise.

[He smiles back just as fondly as he works her skin, from heel to toe.]

[She hums, just barely loud enough for Forrest to hear. They're alone, but the point is to give him just enough assurance she's enjoying this. As if he had a doubt. It's a little game, really. A small escalation as he continues to ply her with the massage.]

And it's because you're such an honorable man that I can't wait to wear a ring with you.

Me either.

[He reaches up to play with her toes just a little at the sound of the hum. Not full on tickling, just a bit of teasing.]

We can have a long engagement.

[That time she chuckles a bit, not full on laughing, just pleased at his playfulness.]

And that'll be fine too. It won't change the fact that I get nightly foot massages, after all.

[She flexes her toes in his hands while smiling tenderly.]

Which I'm glad I figured out a long time ago basically meant 'I love you'.

Nothing would ever change that.

[Forrest smiles a little more, lovingly rubbing at each toe in turn. Fingers exploring every inch of skin, enjoying the softness. It's enough to make him want to kiss them all over again.]

And I do. I love you so much.

[She uses her free hand to rub against his nearest arm, encouraging him to enjoy the massage as much as she is - in his own way. His words make her blush so much that she's even having a hard time responding to him. It makes her feel physically good, but the affection pouring off of him is so enjoyable as well.]

I'll never have to doubt that ever again - even when we're teens again.

[Then she uses the same foot to bounce against some of his long curls.]

Your way is massaging my feet, mine is brushing your beautiful hair.

[Well, as long as he's got her okay... it's back to tender little kisses along her toes as he continues rubbing at her sole.]

I'm glad. That way we can focus on enjoying our relationship instead.

[He lets out a little giggle as she plays with his curls, shaking his head back and forth lightly to let his hair tickle at her foot a bit.]

[She shivers a little due to his affectionate touches, but it's a pleasant feeling all the same - especially with her free foot touching his curls.]

Do you need to focus on it?

[She leans on an elbow, grinning down at him.]

I think I'll just be going about my day from now on and be remembering it with every step I take, since I'll feel that little ring all the time. No 'focus' on enjoyment required.

[Of course she's teasing, but a little teasing is all she can manage while he plays with her feet like that.]

Mm... I suppose you're right.

[Forrest smiles, teasing right back as he sticks out his tongue to lick at the tips of her toes while he kisses them.]

It's not something I'll need to focus on, so much as a fact of my life. I love you, and you love me. That's all I need to know.

[And he's about finished up with this foot, so he gestures for her to switch.]

[ Even with how desensitized she's gotten to Forrest's touches and kisses, the lick still comes as a surprise and makes her squeal softly as her foot jerks a little. She's not mad, but that doesn't stop her from reach down to steal his hat - now a gesture of fondness - while also switching which foot is more predominantly stretched out for him. ]

And that you'll always get what you give back two-fold, from me.

[ A prank, a loving gift, it didn't matter what it was. She, at the very least, planned to keep up their little game of raising stakes on each other at every turn. ]

At least you're good at sharing, now.

[ She grins. As if he was ever 'bad' at it. Rather, when he was 'bad' at it was when he was bad at concealing how much he enjoyed her company. ]

[Forrest can't help but giggle a bit himself at the response he gets from her. Kairi's as cute as ever, and he simply smiles back at her even as she takes his hat.]

You look lovely in it. Maybe I'll make you a hat sometime. Not that I mind this, of course.

[There will be no concealing anything from now on. Forrest loves Kairi, and he's going to show her just how much every chance he gets. Right now, that happens to be taking the form of kissing the tips of her toes while he gets started on rubbing the second foot.]

Mmm... love you.

[She grins merrily at his offer to make her a hat of her own.]

I will have to warn you now - making a hat for me won't stop me from stealing yours whenever I feel like it.

[She does slip it off though, holding it on one hand and petting it a little in anticipation of brushing his hair out before bed later on.]

Hmm...

[Kairi echoes that soft sound he makes with each touch to her foot.]

Love you too, Forrest. I'm just afraid you're being so doting today I may fall asleep.

[From how relaxed he's making her feel through the massage.]

That's all right. You can wear it anytime you like.

[Not that she needs his permission. He just smiles over at her while she plays with it, tenderly rubbing every inch of her foot and getting out all the sore spots.]

Oh... I'm sorry. Would this help you to wake up a little?

[Dipping his head back down, he parts his lips to take her second toe into his mouth, swirling his tongue around it quickly.]

[She bites her lip. Oh boy Forrest, way to wake her up indeed.]

Well, I'm... not going to tell you to stop, if that's what you're waiting for.

[Though she's certainly gripping his hat a little tighter. More than the action, it's just the devotion she's really enjoying.]

I'd certainly hope not.

[His smile turns ever so sultry, and he moves on to the next toe in line. He's not going to escalate this all the way into a repeat of their shared dream, but this much seems okay. They're both consenting adults, after all.]

[She just stares down at him with both hands over her mouth, watching him do what he enjoys so much. For a bit, she's worried if she says anything it'll just break the mood.]

Hair-brushing. Twice as long tonight.

[Because she'll want to wind down too and this is, as always, still his activity more than hers. But hey, still not telling him to stop.]

Mmm...

[Forrest hums in assent as he continues to suck at her toes, nodding his head lightly. He'll let her do whatever she wants for as long as she wants in exchange for this. And by the time he gets to the end of the row of toes, he's about ready to stop anyway - evidenced by the gasp that escapes from the back of his throat and the way his body briefly stiffens. He's right on the verge, so he's making sure to stop short.]

Ah...

[She watches him decide to pull back and waits to make sure that's his plan before scooting forward with her knees folded to one side, getting close enough she can comb a hand through his hair while touching his chin with the other. Instead of going for his mouth that had previously been so busy, she tilts his chin down to press a kiss against his forehead - delicate, but no less affectionate.]

Mm is right.

[Literally any more and Forrest would be changing his undergarments right now. He takes a deep breath to collect himself, cheeks flushed, as Kairi scoots closer. His smile is just about a mile wide as she leans in to kiss him, and he raises a hand to caress her cheek when she pulls back.]

You're wonderful, Kairi.

[Her cheeks warm at his caress. She's likewise on edge, enjoying his company and just trying to not enjoy it too much.]

You bring it out of me, Forrest - all the time and without any...

[She puts their foreheads together, smiling.]

Well it's easy, I mean. Being wonderful to you, you know?

[She's all giggles now but that's what he does to her. She just pulls at the edges of his hair, ready to brush it but only if he's not in need of a moment alone.]
