Vacation's where I wanna be
Who: Shizuo, anyone and everyone!
When: July 21st-31st
Where: Various
What: June catchall log, open and closed. Everything goes!
A. The Beach Episode Near Shore
[ The weather was warm, clear and sunny. Which meant it was perfect weather to hit the Near Shore beaches to... Well, do what he also did on the temple roofs, which was relaxing out in the sun. This just gave him an excuse to wear something incredibly comfortable (instead of something that was okay for a fight,) and lay down in the sand and relax. While Shizuo wasn't the type to hang around a massive amount of people (it was loud, and it's not like he could understand what everyone was saying,) this was still the season for it.
While he managed to smack away the crabs, he doesn't realize just what trouble they were causing until some of the tourists had taken to kicking sand at his face while wrapped up in their own fight. ]
Oi... Hey, knock it off!
[ In trying to break up a brawl, which was quickly gaining in people, a couple of the men that were hit went flying through the air to land in front of others. Though they certainly lost their beach shirts and any flip flops or other wares they had on their person, save for their swim trunks (or underwear if they were in casual clothes.)
Shizuo may have just placed himself as the center of a quickly growing brawl. ]
B. The Big Build Double Cross Bar for Izumo's employees and the regulars that ignore business hours. (Like there being none right now)
[ Ever since Hibari had essentially destroyed the property (at the very least, it was rendered unusable, which meant the same thing for a business,) and Izumo was injured, repairs had to be slowed down. With everything else that had happened, it allowed the guy to get all the supplies they would need for repairs and adding that second floor. The framework and outside of which would've needed to be done by contractors anyway, to follow building codes.
As Shizuo felt responsible, finding out that a lot of this came about from the brat mistaking Izumo for himself, he was putting the time and work in to speed the rebuilding process. Not that he'd be the only one, but there were plenty of days that he'd go to the bar early, or just when Izumo was busy with one of his many other projects. Every time he wore denim, a shirt with rolled up sleeves and the construction belt that had all of the tools that would be needed. It turned out that he had some kind of idea of how to put in insulation, set the walls up and reading the plans to know where he should be working. ]
C. Training
[ Things aren't so tumultuous or quite as loud as they had been in the weeks before. If you regularly passed by the temples before, they had almost become a semi-regular occurrence. After the training invitation, everyone's ages had been messed around, and the mess at the firefly viewing, things were taking a more varied approach. That isn't to say that there isn't the sound of absolute destruction- sometimes it definitely sounds like that, but now there's more.
Sometimes he's throwing long staves of marked wood into the ground. He's also taken to trying to repeatedly bounce boulders up into the air with either his foot, knee, or his fist. Basically doing anything but throwing the boulders up, or hitting his head with them. The loudest sounds is when they hit the ground, or are driven down in the case of the poles. However, there's something new to sometimes see, though how easy it is to see is another matter entirely. For after making the gesture and calling out 'line,' there's the faintest, but most steady, of borderlines shining along the ground. Something he starts and then goes to work on other things while it stays maintained.
While it's hard to imagine it getting any weaker (though possible,) it stays rather steady as Shizuo works more on the physical things as time passes. It continues to be there. ]
D. Open-ish
This is for anyone that would like to work on prayers with Shizuo (and anyone else in conjunction, for teamwork.)
Closed for Hakkai @ the school July 21st
[ While not exactly the cleanest right now, there was one other thing he had to do before getting ready for the firefly viewing later that evening. Despite not being the best at recalling things, Shizuo was the type that kept to promises and things he's agreed to do. After sending a text over to Hakkai that afternoon, he promptly went over to meet the guy at the school.
He'd just have to accept the fact that Shizuo was covered in a bit of blood, dirt and soot when getting onto the grounds. ]
Closed for Izumo, Goten (and a surprise hit from Sharak) @ abandoned grounds
[ While not the type to attend all of these 'training' sessions, which seemed to mostly be sparring matches than anything else, Shizuo does try to regularly participate. Look, don't judge- the man enjoyed his naps and also had sessions with other people, like Sharak.
However, after Goten declared that he got Sharak to agree to 'punch his face in' or something along those lines, it seemed like that was always going to be a risk. A risk that has gone to the back of his mind since then. So when he gets to the training grounds early enough to relax, the regular cooler of water, milk and ice packs were set against the stone gate before the blond went to lay down and relax against it as well. The others would be along soon, but it was really nice and sunny today.
A few minutes wouldn't hurt, right? You think he'd learn from the last time he relaxed when Sharak showed up to their own session. ]
Semi-open For temple residents & Visitors @ Cnoc Áine
[ It wasn't long after the event, which had messed with a lot of their ages, had passed that Shizuo finally learned why Yona had been suffering nightmares since they had arrived. While it's eased up since Hak and Jae-Ha were also in the temple, there was a rage that had been building inside the blond. One that continued to rise every time he'd pass by a certain set of doors to get to his own room.
By the 20th, there was a loud shudder in the temple, which was excused as Shizuo just letting off steam and that he'd handle it. Something which clearly happened either near or inside the shinki's room.
Except he never got supplies or stayed around long enough during the day to fix anything in there. If someone went in there however, either out of curiosity or trying to find him, they'd find a wall that was grafitti'd, accompanied by a distinctive hole in the wall. It was just the name Soo-Won angrily written, with no other context. For answers or confrontation, it was always easy to find the blond, either basking in the sun on one of the roofs, or laying down at the edge of one of the few pools that were on the land. ]

surprise
It's actually such a nice day that Sharak has finally responded positively to one of Goten's invitations and agreed to meet him and the twins at the training grounds. She assumes they're expecting her and so doesn't bother texting Shizuo to let him know she's coming. Walking up to the training grounds, Sharak raises an eyebrow when she spots the man napping in the sun.]
That's a dangerous habit to keep up, don't you think?
[After last time.]
o shit
Which is why he was resting so peacefully until he heard Sharak's voice. That was when his eyes shot open and he immediately looked to where the monk was. Well, shit. Pushing himself to sit up a little more properly, he doesn't actually rush to get to his feet. In fact, he's still not trying to get up at all. ]
Uh...
[ As if there weren't any clearer sign that he wasn't expecting this. So all he had was... Well, the truth, as he was shaking off the sun drunkenness (which is the closest that he'd probably be to Actual Drunk, given how little the guy ever really drinks.) It's not quite being drowsy, but it's amazing how much basking in the sun relaxed the guy. ]
It's why I got here early. I know Goten mentioned you would show up one of these times- I think you're early. Unless I dozed longer than I thought?
no subject
... You're really not a solider, are you, Shizuo?
[Not really a fighter either, no matter how strong he is. It's becoming more and more obvious every time she meets with him.]
no subject
Probably not. I know that I'd never become one by choice.
[ That much was clear to anyone that knew him, though. While his body and circumstances always put him in the way of being a fighter or someone that could just deal with threats, Shizuo was gentle. Also lazy. He could catch fast throwing knives with his teeth, no problem. Not that anyone knows that yet. ]
I made it pretty clear early on, yeah? All this training was to get a better control over myself. That, and I know there's gonna be a point when Yona or someone else is gonna need protecting. So I wanna be ready enough for that.

temple
The newer shinki drops down beside him unceremoniously, sitting with one leg stretched out in front of him, the other bent so that he can rest his arm against it, supporting his weight.]
Your room could use some redecorating.
no subject
It takes a second before Shizuo opens his eyes. Not that he was ignoring or sleeping when Jae-Ha had shown up, but he wasn't sure if it was a quick landing to startle him before the shinki went on jumping to other places. It was just a fact at this point that one of the others would probably be passing through, whether he was on the ground or roof.
It took another second before he realized what that really meant. ]
... You should probably tell me why you went into my room before I kick your ass.
no subject
[Said flippantly, as though there were no invasion of privacy involved here at all. Open door or not, it's definitely overstepping a boundary, but Jae-Ha doesn't seem terribly troubled by that.]
I didn't go any further than the doorway or look through your things, don't worry. Any secrets you have hidden away in there are still safe-- but your latest artistic endeavor is difficult to miss, even from the hallway.
no subject
[ While there were one or two times when he had forgotten to close the door behind him on his way out, Shizuo normally tried to keep his space private. Then again, it's not like he had much in the way of secrets to hide. ]
... I'll fix it eventually. When seeing or hearing that name doesn't make me want to destroy everything.

School, July 21
... but, as the familiar figure turns the corner into the yard, the alertness subsides into simple raised eyebrows, and he closes the book, tucking it under his arm.]
Shizuo, hello. It seems you've been training hard.
[And could really use a bath.]
no subject
Yeah, sorry. I came here right after we were done. The temple I'm at, uh, takes a long time to get through. I figured now was better than after a few hours.
[ Which wasn't just because of how long it took to go through the temple (and all of its mountain steps,) but the fact that Shizuo can easily take up the most part of an hour, without getting into the hair drying stuff. ]
no subject
Oh, it's no trouble. You aren't hurt, I hope?
[That is definitely blood...]
no subject
[ There was blood in some obvious places that Hakkai could see, from his perspective, but Shizuo had to check his arms and such. It still didn't mean that he was able to see where some of the injuries were. Like the trail of blood that went by his ear from a rock smacking him in the head. (It was his fault for adding rocks to the mix, really.)
It's not long before he shrugs off the issue. ]
Even if I was, it's probably fine now. I don't bleed for very long.
[ That's definitely the only worry. Sure. ]

temple
However, on one particular day there is one door that's left ajar - it's one that's typically shut tight whenever he walks past. Hak knows whose room this is and while he carries a great deal of respect for Shizuo, there's still a curiosity that nudges him in its direction and to peer inside. His mouth falls open at the giant hole left in the wall but as his gaze falls upon the name messily written across it, there's an inexplicable anger that boils inside him.
He'll just chalk it up to the ugly graffiti, though. He knows no one by the name of Soo-Won.
With deep breaths to try and quell that anger, Hak seeks out the other man and finds him soon enough grazing by one of the temple's pools. He approaches from behind as silent as ever and crouches down next to Shizuo, eyes fixed forward.]
Does Yona know about that mess you made?
no subject
Probably not.
no subject
Are you planning on telling her or are you going to wait until she finds it herself?
no subject
She's not going to find out. When I'm less pissed off, I'll patch the hole back up. Yona doesn't just wander into rooms.

Beach time!
The people flying were a new thing though.
He trotted up to where the fight was happening and saw a blond man in the middle of it all, and well, ok, he looked like he was angry but oh well.
He pushed people aside and got to the blond man, avoiding a punch from him right before speaking.]
Yo.
[He pushes a guy that was coming over to punch him away.]
What's the fighting for?
no subject
His body was starting to react without thinking about it, as if expecting to deal with a swarm of fights. So when one person he almost hit, that actually gets the blond's head to start working again. Well, as much as it could, which meant absently smacking away the actual attacks. ]
How the hell should I know? Sometimes people kick sand at you because of this shore thing- I can understand that much because it's not on purpose. This time it was on purpose, and suddenly more people decided to throw their punches in.
[ One of which managed to crack a beach umbrella into Shizuo's back. Not that he seems to give it more reaction than anything else. ]
no subject
[Can't have someone fighting off assholes alone, right? Though this guy seems like he's made out of fucking steel, what the crap?!
Zoro still smirks and starts pushing away people, hitting with his open palms on many chests as he can, and suddenly missing his swords a lot.]

Shizuo!
[Incoming one Goten via flight. He lands a few steps away before bouncing over to him. There's a small backpack attached to him his time.]
no subject
Of course, Shizuo still wasn't able to sense the boy, even after all of this time. So when hearing his name, Shizuo paused and was actually ready to have to catch the boy. Except he landed a few steps away. ]
Yo. Just got back from school?
[ Because backpack. It seemed to make sense. ]
no subject
Ahuh! It isn't as bad as I thought. They sorta make it interesting....or try to.
[Look, he still isn't thrilled that some his time is now taken up by that but with the insistence between his own god, Hakkai and a little bit Izumo....he couldn't really fight all of them. The bar still wasn't at a hundred percent so it at least made Goten feel like he wasn't missing out too much. He smiles up at the blond.]
How come I don't see you there. You should learn stuff too.

July 25 /arbitrarily picks a day
After a while of not coming across them both at the school, he figured he’d try that bar that Shizuo had mentioned. It turned out that a lot of people knew about it, so it was easy to find the site of the building under repair.
He instinctively hesitates for a moment before approaching further. On one hand, it’s a bar and he’s underage. But on the other, it’s obviously not open, and he’d been invited. Kind of.
So with a shrug to himself he pushes open the door.]
no subject
When Yukine pushes the door open, one blond was carrying quite an amount of the heavier materials, as the bar had the structure mostly set up, but there were tiles and brickwork to lay down, shelves to set up and the upstairs. Of course, Shizuo pauses when he hears the door open.
There's almost no recollection at all in his eyes. Not because of the event, but because that was just how the guy was. ]
You looking for someone in particular?
no subject
...Is that you, Izumo? Wow, you're stronger than you look. You know, besides the blowing up stuff with fire part.
[He tries to get a better look at the tall blonde guy carrying a heap of heavy-looking stuff, more than a bit hesitant about offering to help carry any of that. Tiles look thin and light, but they're super heavy. And are those bricks on top of that?]
