A. Nightmares and Dreams [Closed to Hajime ~~and possibly Yuto~~]

[How was it that Lavi’s managed to allow himself to get dragged to sleep over at Hajime’s temple?

A simple text message before the goddess dropped out of nowhere again and dragged him that’s how. But while he’s managed to somehow avoid her shinki (since Lavi wouldn’t exactly know how to explain to them that Hajime wanted him to sleep over), Lavi himself couldn’t avoid the goddess.

That’s a fact he’s been forced to come to terms with.

It’s late in the evening, during a time when everyone should be asleep, but Lavi isn’t. He’s out by the front, sitting on one of the chairs while he presses a hand against his face. Lavi is quiet, half-tempted to simply go home, but at the same time, he couldn’t.

A heavy sigh escapes from him as he lounges back on the chair, grumbling something under his breath.]

B. We Are the Warriors [Open]

[Somewhere, people might stumble upon Lavi near an abandoned temple.

He doesn’t seem to be paying attention to anything in particular; in fact, he has his remaining eye closed and seems to be deep in thought before he suddenly goes through a few katas.

People are welcomed to stop by and ~~admire~~ watch him work through his training routine.

Then again, if he’s not in too deep into it, he’ll stop and look over at the person curiously.]

C. Horror Movies Galore [Open]

[In a video store somewhere, Lavi is peering at a few movies curiously.

When he sees a person pass by, he waves over to them.]

Hey, what kind of horror movie would you recommend?

D. What Happens in Vegas Stays In Vegas [Closed to Allen]

[It was a bit of surprise for Lavi when he suddenly receives a call from Allen.

So, after agreeing to meet with Allen, the shinki is bit both confused and curious.]

So, what did you have in mind in what to do?

Okay! Anytime you want Lavi! Just lemme know!

[Goten is clearly excited for it. Sparring is fun. Lavi is good and while he'll always love sparring with Izumo....its fun having someone that doesn't know how he moves as well as a best friend does. Lavi can't predict him as easily.

And Shizuo....is a tank so there's that.]

It's a lot of fun. You're stronger then I thought too.

Will do, and the same goes for you, okay? Just come and find me whenever you wanna spar.

[Because what are phones, honestly.

But honestly, Goten's probably the first person he's come across who actually made Lavi stay on his toes. Sparring Lux is great and all, but Goten is an added plus simply because he can fly and can use Chi.]

Thanks. If you think I'm strong, you should spar with a friend of mine, too. ["Friend" being a loose term here.]

[Goten is fine with that, he forgets he has a phone ninety percent of the time, the other ten percent is usually him realizing he forgot it at Izumo's or at the temple]

Oh, whose your friend? Maybe we can all spar together sometime.

[Lavi rubs the back of his neck.]

His name's Allen Walker.

[Goten blinks, then his face lights up]

Oh wow, you know Allen?! I know him too! Him and Lux! I didn't know Allen was that strong! Well....not hand to hand anyway! He's an exorcist so of course he's strong!

[He can't help but grin.]

Hey Lavi, can we be friends too? Since we're gonna spar and stuff! We can help each other with shinki stuff too!

[Huh, so the kid knows Allen and Lux, too. While he's not surprised Goten might know Lux given how much of a social butterfly she is, he's admittedly a little more surprised he knows Allen.

Allen gets around, too, huh?]

Yeah, he's definitely someone you want to test out hand to hand with. He's a challenge.

[Lavi admittedly doesn't know if this is true, but why not?]

I don't see why we can't be friends. It'd be fun to help each other out more.

If he's a challenge....then I just gotta catch him by surprise!

[This is a horrible idea, don't encourage this Lavi. But he beams up at the red head, jumping up at that.]

Great! Then we're friends! I'll show you lots of stuff but you gotta help me out too. [There's a small thoughtful pause.] With homework too! Not just fighting stuff.

[Look, Goten doesn't struggle with fighting. He loves it. School work...not so much and he can't always count on Shizuo to be around to do it for him]

If anyone can, I'm sure you can, Goten.

[He is 100% endorsing this.

A curious look.]

Sounds like a good plan. It'd be fun to teach each other what we know. [Goten, you probably asked the best person for homework help.]

Homework, huh? You're attending Hakkai's school, too?

Maybe! But you're his friend too, so you probably know how!

[It'll be a fun game. Goten really had no idea Allen could spar. Fighting with powers is one thing, hand to hand combat is another. Allen will probably let him use Chi too.]

Ahuh! I'm not that good at regular borderlines but I know the cutting one okay and spells. Chi is easier for me to use then borderlines are...

[Yes, please help him with school. It's boring.]

Yeah....He wasn't happy about me not knowing how to read and write kanji that good. My god sorta pushed for it too. It's not too bad but I rather be outside then reading.

We can do it together next time then.

[Allen, Lavi will enjoy watching yo spar with this kid.

He looks interested.] You learn spells, too? [Wow, this kid really does know a lot.] We can definitely work on your borderlines, but you could teach me the cutting one.

[Goten, this is Lavi. He enjoys learning.]

Reading isn't so bad. Besides, it'd be good for you to be able to learn to read and write kanji better.

Yeah sure, I'll show you whenever you want. The cutting one isn't that hard to learn. I betcha you can get it in no time.

[He's just been around for awhile and trying to soak things up like a sponge.]

Mmmm I guess. I can read okay...and I usually just use voice for the BBS stuff.

[Lavi chuckles, grinning at him.]

That's a handy thing, but do you even go on the BBS often?

Not really! I forget about my phone a lot but I've been trying to do better about it. Everyone seems to use the BBS a lot!

[Goten smiles back at him]

I betcha you're on it a lot, huh?

[Goten doesn't use the BBS, which means he won't know anything about what's been going on. While Lavi as a kid had quite the negative outlook on life, he doesn't want the same happen to Goten.

He shouldn't be exposed to that.]

You could say that. It can get boring after a while, though, since people usually post the same kind of thing all the time.

Yeah, I don't check it often. I rather go see my friends in person and train and stuff. I wanna get stronger.

[Lavi is pretty correct with his assumption. Goten doesn't appear to have a worry in the world.]

[Hm.

Lavi crouches a bit to look at Goten better.]

Hey, Goten. Mind if I asked you a question?

Huh? Yeah, sure.

[He blinks a bit at that, looking up at Lavi.]

This may sound a bit odd, but why do you want to get stronger?

[The question isn't that surprising. He's been asked it before and he's answered almost as quick. But there's something about how Lavi is crouched down next to him and the tone of how he's asking that makes Goten thoughtfully. He has lots of reasons he wants to get strong but there are some that weigh more then others. ]

...I wanna be able to protect my friends from anything that wants to hurt them.

[He searches Goten's expression before he smiles slightly.

Lavi gives a nod at him.]

That's a good reason.

What about you? You were training too so you gotta wanna get stronger too.

[And just like that his expression instantly softens like he doesn't have a worry in the world.]

I'm just like you, Goten. I train because there are people I want to protect.

[His smile softens.]

People who I want to make sure they know they can depend on me.

[Goten stares up at him, mouth widening into a big open smile]

Then we can get stronger together! If we have the same friends then they're just double protected!

[He grins full heartedly. There's no end to this kid's heart or energy. Aside from the dirt and few scruff marks it doesn't look like Goten has been sparing at all. Not with as quick as he bounces up. Izumo, Shizuo, Sharak, Hakkai, Deku and now Lavi....this place is getting a lot of good strong people! Really...Goten isn't as worried as he use to be. Not with all these strong friends.]

[A laugh escapes from him.]

I don't see why not. I'm not sure if we have the same friends, though.

You said you're friends with Allen and Lux, right?

[That's two!]

Uh...you should talk to Shizuo to. He's a tall guy with blond hair and sunglasses. Smokes a lot! He needs more friends.
