The Devil's Going to Set me Free~
Who: Mikoto and Any Poor Unfortunate Soul!
When: Month of July
Where: The FarShore
What: Mikoto makes house visits, brawls with ayakashi and kidnaps a lion cub.
Warnings: Fire(?)
Warnings: Fire(?)
i. What are you waiting for?
[ For all you Gods and shinki's out there, guess who's at your temple door? It's a friendly caller! Honest! No one here looking for a murderer. Nope. That's not what he's doing at all. When the door opens, Mikoto will be standing at the door looking as bored as ever. ]
Are you going to let me in?
ii. Only Chains and Broken Bones
[ One moment you're minding your own business and the next there's an explosion of fire. Now you may be asking yourself - What the Hell was that?! - But don't worry, all will be revealed the moment a snake-like ayakashi comes crashing into the open followed by a man cloaked in red and white flames! The moment Mikoto hits the ground, he's racing past you, smashing his fists into the snake who meets him head on. The white flames keep healing the blight that comes from his direct attacks, one of which sends the ayakashi flying in your direction. Better to dodge that one. ]
iii. Ain't got no place to call a home
[ A King and a lion cub walk into a bar. Guess which one's wearing a collar? Think you got the answer yet? Was it: Neither? If so, congratulations! You are today's lucky winner!!!! So, what did you win?! Well, glad you asked! The answer: you're not getting mauled by either! Hooray, you!
Mikoto walks into the bar and takes a seat, while the little lion cub follows behind him curling himself on the ground gnawing on a barstool leg as he orders himself a Wild Turkey and a steak - rare. ]
iv. I saw my chance so I got him at last (Wildcard)
[ Look the Devil in the Eye. ota. Make up your own scenario! I'm game for anything! ]

I
[The one who was threatening Sannan and Izuminokami on the network, last month. Hijikata's not exactly a cheerful, smiling guy most of the time, but he gets distinctly colder when he recognizes the guy at the door to his shrine's residential area.]
Is there some sort of reason I should?

[That's...pretty much Shun's answer to anyone who turns up at his door unannounced, unless he knows them better than he does Mikoto. He's still not exactly sold on the guy, especially in the wake of what he's heard about him.
But it seems incredibly unlikely he'd show up for anything minor or insignificant, so after a moment, Shun steps outside, closing the door behind him and eying Mikoto somewhat warily.]

No-no-nonononono...!!
[Next, there's a draft, and also heat going past her. A man covered in flames runs ahead of her, taking the snake on. Who the hell was that?! Not that she was about to complain about someone else fighting the monster. If anything she should thank--- SCRATCH THAT. As the man sends the ayakashi flying towards her, Chinatsu reacts this time, jumping out of harm's way.]
Too--TOO CLOSE!
[She looks at him, horrified, her fists clenched by her sides. Dying a second time was not on her to do list.]

You're that guy!
[He's not 100% certain what that entails, but he's seen this guy before. He's had a bit too much to drink to be able to make the connection immediately, save for the fact that this is most certainly That Guy and he's seen him Somewhere. Something to do with Tatara. In all likelihood, Tatara knows That Guy. Which means they're friends, obviously. Sakon and That Guy, he means.]
And you have a cat!
[Clearly, beer has rendered Sakon Master of the Obvious. The need to share every thought that's running through his head, though? That happens when he's stone cold sober.]

iv & ii
...honestly, Reisi doesn't know what it is, but there's something that draws him to Suoh. In their brief second meeting, he felt a connection to the other man—what is it? Does it have to do with their seemingly similar, perhaps even equal powers? Reisi is amused at recalling the other man's annoyance and displeasure, and is irritated at the thought of Suoh's fleeting amusement. Yet despite their somehow being at odds with one another, Reisi actually felt something of an understanding that momentarily melted part of his loneliness away.
Not that he'd ever express so much to Suoh, or anyone else for that matter. This seems to be a personal matter tied to the past that Reisi cannot remember but somehow still carries over. There's no point in troubling anyone else with the burden he personally bears.
Exactly where, when, and how Suoh engaged with the snake-like ayakashi aren't nearly so important when Munakata feels his power swelling and upsurging within him. Seeing the balance is upset, it longs for use to keep the other man's wild and chaotic aggression in check. And so in calmly suppressed irritation, Reisi goes against what most consider better judgment, shielding himself as he stands his ground and sending a blast of blue aura at the incoming ayakashi.]

[Chikua's expression is bland as he just stares at the other man, blinking slowly as if it's taking a particularly long time for him to figure out a yes or no answer. Maybe the ombre beanie is cutting off circulation? After a moment, however, he puts a hand forward.... and draws a borderline between them.]

[ Yona peers at him in surprise, even though the gate to her temple is wide open, as it is most days. She glances back at it just to make sure before casting him a bright - if slightly confused -smile. ]
Well, I wasn't trying to stop you. Was there something you needed? Is everything alright? Izumo is okay, isn't he?
