A. Cnoc Áine - After Shizuo’s Ablution

[After performing the ablution on Shizuo with Chikusa and Goten, Izumo has decided to stick around Yona’s temple to keep an eye on the two. Normally he wouldn’t be around the temple so much, only ever coming and go briefly to visit Shizuo or Yona. He usually sticks to the room that ended up being his, but he’s actually out and about in the temple now.

If he looks a little tired, just pretend that he isn’t instead.

However, anyone around the temple might spot him in the halls or somewhere outside. Come and talk to him? Drink with him?]

B. Double Cross Bar - Memories On A Wall

[The moment he’s learned that Sora and Roxas are gone, Izumo felt a bit—not sad, per se, but something close to it. While he wouldn’t exactly call himself sentimental, he’s decided that putting up a photo wall can be at least one way of keeping memories alive.

So, after a day or two, he puts up a post on the BBS:]

If anyone has any photos of Sora and Roxas, mind if I have a copy? I’m working on a project right now, so I thought it’d be good to start with those two first.

[Anyone who does come to the bar will find Izumo leaning against the counter, focused on a blank wall to the side. He seems thoughtful, though he does glance over at anyone who comes in.]

C. When Will Dreams End? [Closed to Totsuka]

[He sent a text to Totsuka earlier that morning upon awakening. It’s not like how he reacted when he first remembered Anna, but now some things the man has said the few times they’ve met makes sense.

Choosing his bar instead of Mikoto’s temple or Totsuka’s temple was a good place to talk. With it still closed, it gives them the proper privacy they need.

Really, Izumo didn’t enjoy waking up suddenly remembering people from his past life, but it’s even worse now because this time, he’s aware of one fact about the god: he’s dead.

By the time Totsuka comes to the bar, Izumo already has a drink in front of him.]

D. Fade to Black

[It’s August.

It’s summer and it’s haunting season.

So, it’s not surprising that Izumo is being haunted by some ghosts that decides to play with him. Which is why he’s looking fairly unimpressed at a floating lighter, the sounds of childish giggles heard around him.]

[ Nanako had heard about Sora and Roxas as well, and has been somewhat despondent ever since. She'd liked Sora, but Roxas had been one of the people she'd been closest to since arriving here and she was already missing him desperately.

But seeing Izumo's message, she goes looking for what he'd asked for, making sure she had some before texting back. ]

I have some, Izumo, if you want them?

[ He's not the only one looking a little worn and tired in the days following the Purification Ritual, although Yona is still doing her best to put forth a positive outlook and keep spirits up. She knows everything isn't going to go back to normal overnight but she is still a little uncertain about how tense things might be in the meantime. And also she might be just a little frayed around the edges after everything that has happened.

So it's no surprise to find her in a quiet spot off in the temple one afternoon, rubbing at her temples and possibly fretting a little too much when left to stew in her own thoughts for too long. ]

[ Yata hadn't seen the message because he'd been a little distracted with everything that's been happening. Needless to say, he shows up at the bar for a different reason, in an unexpectedly bad mood.

But he still stops short at the sight of Izumo just standing there staring intently at the wall. A little bewildered, he comes to stand beside him and peer at it, too. ]

......What's wrong with it?

If that's fine with you, Nanako.

I just need to make a few copies.

[Yona is, of course, one of the two parties that Izumo is mostly staying at the temple for. With how much she's gone through in the past few days, it's no longer a question of wanting to stick around.

He approaches her quietly before taking a seat next to her.]

Penny for your thoughts?

Nothing's wrong with it. I'm just trying to figure out how to start something.

[A blink before he looks at Yata.]

What brings you here?

[It's weird for Goten to ever lack energy, even after a long sparring session he's usually quick to recover but there must just be something about ablutions that just take a toll on everyone despite the success of it. He's happy Shizuo is better.

Goten is just going to be lazy and use Nimbus to fly around for awhile. Still, he does drop in to check on his favorite people---plus Yona was really nice too! Shizuo is being a bit more reclusive but he does perk spotting Izumo outside the temple as he passes over it. Naturally Goten perks up and Nimbus drops down, trailing after the bar owner.]

You're still hanging out around here, Izumo?

[When he feels Goten's presence behind him, he looks over his shoulder.]

Yup. [He slows down a bit so that Nimbus can come up beside him if he wants.]

I was only planning to stick around for a few more days until I'm sure that both Shizuo and Yona are okay.

[The cloud floats along, keeping pace next to Izumo as Goten crosses his legs.]

Are they okay? That Yona lady seemed really nice and I was worried about Shizuo to..and you.

[And maybe Chikusa. A little. None of that was fun for anybody.]

[Izumo smiles, placing his hand on top of Goten's head and ruffling his hair.]

Yeah, they're okay. Yona and Shizuo are still recovering.

How are you doing, Goten?

[Goten smiles at that, giggling a little. The spiky locks naturally fall back into place though...maybe a bit more messy now thanks to Izumo though.]

Mmm, I'm okay. Just tired for some reason. I slept a lot but my body still feels heavy.

[It's annoying mostly because Goten isn't use to that and can't figure out why.]

What about you? You got lots of sleep too, right?

Mm, an ablution can take a lot out of you.

[Since it is meant to be a very tiring thing to do, after all.

A blink before he nods.]

As much as I could, anyway.

I guess so. I thought it was suppose to take a lot out of Shizuo...

[But hey, it worked. Goten is fine with being tired if it saved his best friend's twin. Shizuo was a good friend to him too. The bar wouldn't be the same without him]

Huh? Did you have a bad dream or something, Izumo? You should sleep more.

It's tiring for everyone involved.

[But everyone is saved, just tired. Izumo looks a little bemused.]

I'm fine, Goten. There are just some days I can't sleep is all.

I guess so...

[Still weird but he's more interested in Izumo's sleep. This is news to him. Maybe because of the times Goten has fallen asleep around Izumo its been just that. Him falling asleep before the older shinki.]

You have trouble sleeping? How come?

[It's weird to Goten considering he can knock out fast and sleep like a rock]

[He shrugs.

How to actually explain to Goten that his lack of sleep is due to Izumo actually not putting enough time for him to be able to sleep? Unlike Shizuo, Goten, and even Mikoto, sleep isn't that high up on his list.]

I just can't sleep. It's not the first time it's happened.

You never mentioned it before....when was the first time?

[He's just staring now. Thinking, he's actually never seen Izumo sleep... He's never really thought about it much until right now.]

I didn't see any point in mentioning it.

[What is sleep.

He sleeps whenever Goten falls asleep on him.]

But sleep is important. You gotta rest, Izumo. That's not good....

[He gives Goten a slight smile.]

I do sleep, Goten. Just not a lot.

How come though? If you have trouble falling asleep I can help. I saw that if you chop someone on the back of the neck just right then they'll pass out. I haven't tried it but...

[Just a casual thoughtful glance over to Izumo]

[A look.]

Don't even think about it.

[Because how do you think that will go, Goten?]

Where did you even see that from?

[He thinks it's go fine. Izumo would be on the ground catching some much needed rest.]

I saw someone do it to someone else to save them from getting eatten by an ayakashi. It was super fast though....

[Goten looks at his hands, trying to make that same motion and strike he saw in the air]

No, Goten. There are other ways to putting people to sleep.

[That doesn't bring them pain.

He watches a bit, and really wonders who Goten was with to have seen that.]

...I'd rather you don't try it on me if you haven't practiced with it first.

[Goten blinks owlishly.]

[ Kamekamehas, going blond (sort of), various sparring things....how is this any different. Best friends are suppose to be living practice dummies.]
