A. Cnoc Áine - After Shizuo’s Ablution

[After performing the ablution on Shizuo with Chikusa and Goten, Izumo has decided to stick around Yona’s temple to keep an eye on the two. Normally he wouldn’t be around the temple so much, only ever coming and go briefly to visit Shizuo or Yona. He usually sticks to the room that ended up being his, but he’s actually out and about in the temple now.

If he looks a little tired, just pretend that he isn’t instead.

However, anyone around the temple might spot him in the halls or somewhere outside. Come and talk to him? Drink with him?]

B. Double Cross Bar - Memories On A Wall

[The moment he’s learned that Sora and Roxas are gone, Izumo felt a bit—not sad, per se, but something close to it. While he wouldn’t exactly call himself sentimental, he’s decided that putting up a photo wall can be at least one way of keeping memories alive.

So, after a day or two, he puts up a post on the BBS:]

If anyone has any photos of Sora and Roxas, mind if I have a copy? I’m working on a project right now, so I thought it’d be good to start with those two first.

[Anyone who does come to the bar will find Izumo leaning against the counter, focused on a blank wall to the side. He seems thoughtful, though he does glance over at anyone who comes in.]

C. When Will Dreams End? [Closed to Totsuka]

[He sent a text to Totsuka earlier that morning upon awakening. It’s not like how he reacted when he first remembered Anna, but now some things the man has said the few times they’ve met makes sense.

Choosing his bar instead of Mikoto’s temple or Totsuka’s temple was a good place to talk. With it still closed, it gives them the proper privacy they need.

Really, Izumo didn’t enjoy waking up suddenly remembering people from his past life, but it’s even worse now because this time, he’s aware of one fact about the god: he’s dead.

By the time Totsuka comes to the bar, Izumo already has a drink in front of him.]

D. Fade to Black

[It’s August.

It’s summer and it’s haunting season.

So, it’s not surprising that Izumo is being haunted by some ghosts that decides to play with him. Which is why he’s looking fairly unimpressed at a floating lighter, the sounds of childish giggles heard around him.]

[ Nanako had heard about Sora and Roxas as well, and has been somewhat despondent ever since. She'd liked Sora, but Roxas had been one of the people she'd been closest to since arriving here and she was already missing him desperately.

But seeing Izumo's message, she goes looking for what he'd asked for, making sure she had some before texting back. ]

I have some, Izumo, if you want them?

[ He's not the only one looking a little worn and tired in the days following the Purification Ritual, although Yona is still doing her best to put forth a positive outlook and keep spirits up. She knows everything isn't going to go back to normal overnight but she is still a little uncertain about how tense things might be in the meantime. And also she might be just a little frayed around the edges after everything that has happened.

So it's no surprise to find her in a quiet spot off in the temple one afternoon, rubbing at her temples and possibly fretting a little too much when left to stew in her own thoughts for too long. ]

[Yona is, of course, one of the two parties that Izumo is mostly staying at the temple for. With how much she's gone through in the past few days, it's no longer a question of wanting to stick around.

He approaches her quietly before taking a seat next to her.]

[ Yata hadn't seen the message because he'd been a little distracted with everything that's been happening. Needless to say, he shows up at the bar for a different reason, in an unexpectedly bad mood.

But he still stops short at the sight of Izumo just standing there staring intently at the wall. A little bewildered, he comes to stand beside him and peer at it, too. ]

......What's wrong with it?

Nothing's wrong with it. I'm just trying to figure out how to start something.

[A blink before he looks at Yata.]

[It's weird for Goten to ever lack energy, even after a long sparring session he's usually quick to recover but there must just be something about ablutions that just take a toll on everyone despite the success of it. He's happy Shizuo is better.

Goten is just going to be lazy and use Nimbus to fly around for awhile. Still, he does drop in to check on his favorite people---plus Yona was really nice too! Shizuo is being a bit more reclusive but he does perk spotting Izumo outside the temple as he passes over it. Naturally Goten perks up and Nimbus drops down, trailing after the bar owner.]

You're still hanging out around here, Izumo?

[When he feels Goten's presence behind him, he looks over his shoulder.]

Yup. [He slows down a bit so that Nimbus can come up beside him if he wants.]

I was only planning to stick around for a few more days until I'm sure that both Shizuo and Yona are okay.

Eish Bish..

[ Eric didn't see the post, or knew the two that left, but he had decided to come by and visit Izumo, and thank him for the cake.

He steps inside and frowns just a bit lightly before waving to him in greeting. It seemed something was off, from what he could tell. ]

Sorry, it's closed? I can come back...

[He waves him inside.]

What kind of Project? Do tell, do tell! I've been taking a lot of pics of everybody cause people keep coming and going.

[It really didn't take much in Izumo's post to grab her attention. She's aware the two boys are gone and even double checked their life-threads to confirm. At least they left together...]

Something like a memory wall. At least that way we can keep some record of memories for the people who left.

[ Forever on his own time schedule, (especially in the afterlife), Tatara comes wandering into the closed bar sometime in the late morning hours, all humming and genial, inviting smiles. He’s surprised to see Izumo already with a drink already lined up for him, opting to take the seat right in front of it.

Izumo assured him he’s not here to work, and that this isn’t about Mikoto. So, what this could be about, he’s not sure. ]

You wanted to see me, Kusanagi-san?

I did.

[He waits for Totsuka to sit next to him, taking a sip of his drink.

Once he's done, he raises a hand and gently hits him on the head. It's different, almost, with the way his hand lingers on the god's head.]

You never change, do you?

Didn't know you could do that.

[Because that is clearly the most logical response to a floating lighter. By this point, he's seen weirder...]

You don't look too happy about it, though.

I can't. Fire is more of my thing.

[Aymeric didn't know Roxas very well but he did know Sora. He was one of those whom he felt comfortable telling closer matters to his heart to other than Leo and Goten to an extent. So when the message comes across the BBS, he remembers something he had said to Izumo before. As for directions to the bar...thank Goten.

So don't mind Aymeric arriving at the place with a bottle of wine in one hand. It's top shelf, don't worry.]

Apologies for not responding to the message but I had none of the documents you seek. But I do recall mentioning about owing you a drink.

[Izumo lifts a hand in greeting to Aymeric, a smile on his face.]

That's fine. Another person named Hajime has a lot of pictures for me to look at.

[He gestures for the god to come sit at the bar while he gets a couple of glasses.]

But you came at a good time.

[The spirit is enjoying this lighter far too much, waving it around and trying to light it. After a few false clicks it manages it and produces a small flame- one that lasts just long enough for Sharak Sanzo to lean down and light her cigarette.]

Children shouldn't be playing with fire.

[There's a childish gasp in response to the scolding and the lighter darts away, as if the spirit is trying to protect it's prize. Sharak straightens up and takes a drag from her cigarette. Here she came to check out that bar Shizuo and Goten couldn't stop talking about and this is what she finds.]

[Izumo looks a bit bemused by the fleeing lighter, but he doesn't give chase.

Instead, he gives a nod to Sharak in greeting.]

Nice to see you, Sharak.

[Seeing the name on this BBS post, Munakata recalls meeting Kusanagi roughly two weeks ago. Kusanagi seems like a reasonable man who could get on with Reisi well enough. He also seems to know Fushimi, who'd discussed his red and blue powers on the BBS over a week ago. Munakata had noticed their conversation went quiet for some moments when they presumably changed to private settings, but he's curious to know whether the other man had mentioned him.

Additionally, Suoh is Kusanagi's god. Although it's something Reisi has vested interest in, there's potential danger in pursuing this interest. However, it isn't exactly easy to get anything straight from Suoh.

It can't hurt just to talk to the other man, right? Besides, he can always ask about the photo project if nothing else.

So he looks up where to find Kusanagi, and it doesn't take long to come across Bar HOMRA. A bell chimes when Munakata pushes through the door, his gaze going to the bar to see Kusanagi there, as expected. He offers a small smile before moving to take a seat at the counter.]

Izumo Kusanagi. What an elegant place you have here.

[He's not sure if Munakata actually wanted him to mention him during his talk with Fushimi, but in the end, he didn't really mention him - not by name, anyway. It's Fushimi. He's able to figure it out.

But Izumo is a bit surprised when he sees Munakata entering, giving the other shinki a smile in greeting.]

I'm glad you think so.

[It's still a bit under renovations, so hope you don't mind the mess too much.]

[ It's been some days since they've talked, and just a few less than that since Shizuo had talked to Yona, but he still wasn't ready for a lot. Not until recently, somehow thanks to Sharak, but he's still not exactly back to himself.

That is, when the blond goes into the bar, his hair is still that wild mess and it still looks like he's not eating as much as he normally did. It couldn't be helped that he wasn't in uniform though, given that at this point, he was working on finishing the second floor to get all of that finished. Most of the structure was probably in and set up, the electrical and plumbing handled, but there were doors and windows to finish up with, floors to lay down and painting to do. Not in that order exactly (it'd be easier to paint before the floors were done, so the molding could be installed easily as well,) but it was still part of his responsibility. A self-imposed one, more than anything else, but it was something he'd see through to the end.

So when he goes in, Shizuo pauses right before he was about to pass by that wall- It's pretty clear that he wasn't checking the boards (Shizuo rarely did)- the guy pauses at the recently started project. He came in from the back/employee entrance, so he'd at least know that it wasn't a customer that was coming in. ]

... Working on something new? Ah, and it looks like someone was playing around with the stuff in the back.

[ Because haunting season. ]

A photo wall for memories.

[He gives a light shrug.] Two other people I've met and befriended ended up leaving, and a lot of people seem to have been slowly disappearing, too. I figured it'd be nice to be able to keep some sort of memory of them here.

[Hence the wall and some photos. There are a few that has Sora and Roxas, maybe even a few of other people they know such as Goten or even Shizuo himself.

But he does look over at Shizuo, an initial studying glance to see if he's doing okay before he huffs a bit.]

There's been some ghosts playing around here recently. One tried to possess my lighter and run away with it.

[It takes Goten awhile to notice the wall. The first few pictures don't really catch his eye. Not with the bar being so new and the upstairs becoming practically a second home. He's been bringing things over to help make the room feel more roomy. A big stuffed bear that he got at the festival being the latest addition. Goten carries the over-sized stuffed animal on his back with it's arms wrapped around for easy holding and lower half dragging on the ground due to it's size. The thing is bigger then Goten so it practically shallows him. The bear, while he's attached to it, seems better suited here. As if Izumo needs any company for when he doesn't come by.

But its as he's heading towards the stairs that the once blank wall catches his eye. It's getting more and more pictures added to it that Goten stops and takes more notice of it. The BBS post was lost to...where ever his phone currently was.]

Hm?

[He blinks and wanders over to get a better look, bear dragged along with as he looks over the picture of people he knows and doesn't know.]

[Izumo steps out into the front from the back.

He follows the young shinki's gaze to the photo wall.]

[A day or two after speaking with Shizuo, Leo makes his way to the bar mentioned. He's got the location and time for the pick up and he did say he would let Shizuo know.

...are those photos of Sora and Roxas?]

Ah, Shizuo?

Sorry, Shizuo isn't here right now.

[But say hi to the twin, Leo.]

I'm Izumo Kusanagi. Can I help you?

B - Next day

[ With the lack of pictures of Izumo, Goten did decide to take matters into his own hands. As he promised Izumo that he would figure out something he did! It just took a little bit of doodling but as soon as it was done, he was quick to tape it up. While he did work on it at night, it wasn't until the morning that he was actually able to post the picture up due to the rules Izumo had in place at the bar.

Regardless; the next time the older shinki passes through the bar he may notice an added addition in the center of the wall:]
