Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods (although there's none this time) and shinki



The product of many meetings and recommendations, at last it has taken shape. On this day, in anticipation of the new arrivals who appear in a recognized pattern, Heaven has partnered with the new gods and shinki to organize a very helpful informational reception.

The shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided kindly towards Bishamon's temple. And in that vast complex they are brought to a traditional-style dojo.
Here the newly arrived gods are gathered, so finding their partner is more simple. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the aspects of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki, or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.




God Training

Bishamon herself, as well as Amaterasu's ever-present shinki and any volunteering gods, will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of them, such as prayers. It is encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Newly arrived gods are still expected to communicate to their shinki the information* they themselves get oriented with when they arrive.

Shinki Training

Various volunteers are stationed around the building, passing out helpful informational pamphlets. There are many shinki, including Bishamon's and Amaterasu's, who will be more than happy to train in using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Bishamon's lead shinki Kazuma offers a lecture to new arrivals that will thoroughly cover some essential points about teamwork with both shinki and other gods.

Physical Training

The dojo is stocked with a wide variety of practice weapons, traditional and modern. There are volunteers here as well, willing to assist in basic training. (Or even more advanced sparring, depending on the volunteer.) Essential for gods who, for example, find themselves with a sword shinki but are at risk of cutting off their own toes.
Also useful for veteran new gods wishing to train with their current partner shinki.

Rest and Refreshments

There is a garden off the dojo that is free to be used for rest and conversation.
Should anyone wander outside the designated area, some shinki of Bishamon's will attach themselves to them and not leave them be until they return to the dojo.

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're just taking a quick break to cool down. Even hand towels are provided by Bishamon's helpful shinki. The Heavens wants everyone to stay in good condition!

[Ah...Midoriya... 6 months or not, you are still the same. A good friend and one that is a bit prone to tears, but that is okay- Tenya is understanding and he willingly waits for when Izuku is done.]

That is good! Is he a god as well? I should be keeping my eye out for him, perhaps he would be given a similar god like I did! Have I mentioned just which God that I am now honoring? I am now holding the title of Idaten! Isn't that a rather suiting god? If I recall correctly he is a god know for his speed and correcting injustices.

[He's still himself and he'll always be himself, even as events batter him down bit by bit. He's still Midoriya Izuku and he's still the kind of person who gets teary eyed when he sees his friends after months and months of being without them.

But Izuku's had months and months to get used to the reality of Shouto's death. Tenya? Tenya just got here.]

... No, he's a shinki.

But congratulations on becoming Idaten, it definitely suits you.

[The almost puff of pride that had puffed up Iida's chest instantly deflated upon hearing Izuku's words. Todoroki is a shinki... That means that he had passed away some how. Somehow they had failed him...]

How.... How did he pass away? That... That means he would not remember us? Remember anyone right? He... He could be blighted if I am not careful with what I say, right?

[It doesn't make sense. The time Shouto died was a time where Izuku's certain he made it out. He dialed Izuku's number and said he was fine, but that's so obviously untrue.]

... Do you remember when we went to rescue Kacchan? A villain got to him and killed him then.

[He hates talking about it- so his gaze is dragged down to his feet as he starts fidgeting with his fingers.]

He remembers me... but that's it. And only very recently. That's everything he remembers. So... please be very careful around him.

We're basically like strangers who need to build up our friendship from scratch. I-If you're too blatant about knowing him, then he might get hurt.

[Wait.. Hold up a second- Rescue Kacchan? When did Kacchan get kidnapped in the first place much less who would want to kidnap him? And... How... Who was strong enough to kill Todoroki- he was one of the more skilled and powerful students.]

... The last thing that I remember was the Practical Test. Is it possible that we are from different times? It is possible that you did save him in your line, and yet in his you were unable?

[The practical tests... that was months ago? He doesn't remember anything that's happened after that. They've got some very different memories to work with here.]

It's very possible. I've had that happen a few times. I don't remember Todoroki dying at home, but... that's what I saw when he became my partner.

[What he had seen? What does he mean...? Perhaps there is a different experience between getting a shinki that actually has a soul and one that was merely supplied to you to keep you safe. When Iida was given a soulless shinki he had not received any memories and that may of been a blessing in disguise.]

I see... Then perhaps it would be best if I do not interact with him too much? It would be a shame if my presence will cause him to get blighted or even you. I can always wait until he approaches me on his own free will.

I think... it's fine if you talk to him. But you need to be careful about saying you've met him before. As long as you're okay with starting out as strangers, you... should be able to talk to him.

It's hard... but we're all friends, and we can get there again. I'm sure of that.

[Placing a reassuring hand on Izuku's shoulder and giving him what was hopefully a reassuring smile.]

We were friends once before and I see no reason why we could not be friends now. This only means we have another chance to make new and better memories then before. I will be sure to watch myself when I am around Todoroki.

[It's absolutely reassuring and it's been so long since Izuku's seen that smile that his eyes start to get watery. It's so good to have a friend that remembers him, even if they're all completely misplaced time-wise. It's fine, it's much better than having to face another friend's death.]

... Y-Yeah. Thank you, Iida.

[He's pretty sure he's crying.]

[And Deku is not Deku without a flood of tears, yet.... Tenya would not give a thing to change it. It is just as assuring to him to have Izuku act the same, as it is for him to act the same for Izuku. As such he simply keeps his hand on Izuku's shoulder with light and gentle squeezes and let's the other cry it out.]

It's okay, I didn't do anything.

[At least he still has enough pride to stop himself from launching into clinging onto Iida. It's been far, far too long since he's seen one of his first and closest friends.]
