Summary: Training and informational sessions for newly arrived gods (although there's none this time) and shinki



The product of many meetings and recommendations, at last it has taken shape. On this day, in anticipation of the new arrivals who appear in a recognized pattern, Heaven has partnered with the new gods and shinki to organize a very helpful informational reception.

The shinki arriving at heaven's meeting hall are, should they allow it, guided kindly towards Bishamon's temple. And in that vast complex they are brought to a traditional-style dojo.
Here the newly arrived gods are gathered, so finding their partner is more simple. The gods and shinki are free to take their time during this day to learn about the aspects of their new life from Amaterasu's shinki, or from the many veteran new god and shinki volunteers.




God Training

Bishamon herself, as well as Amaterasu's ever-present shinki and any volunteering gods, will be the foremost source of information regarding being a god and what is expected of them, such as prayers. It is encouraged that gods group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Newly arrived gods are still expected to communicate to their shinki the information* they themselves get oriented with when they arrive.

Shinki Training

Various volunteers are stationed around the building, passing out helpful informational pamphlets. There are many shinki, including Bishamon's and Amaterasu's, who will be more than happy to train in using the borderline and some of the basics of what is expected of a shinki. It is encouraged that shinki group up together to practice what they've learned and discuss their ideologies.
Bishamon's lead shinki Kazuma offers a lecture to new arrivals that will thoroughly cover some essential points about teamwork with both shinki and other gods.

Physical Training

The dojo is stocked with a wide variety of practice weapons, traditional and modern. There are volunteers here as well, willing to assist in basic training. (Or even more advanced sparring, depending on the volunteer.) Essential for gods who, for example, find themselves with a sword shinki but are at risk of cutting off their own toes.
Also useful for veteran new gods wishing to train with their current partner shinki.

Rest and Refreshments

There is a garden off the dojo that is free to be used for rest and conversation.
Should anyone wander outside the designated area, some shinki of Bishamon's will attach themselves to them and not leave them be until they return to the dojo.

There is a refreshments table provided. It is covered with light snacks and various kinds of hydrating drinks. There is a little sitting area set up for people to relax in after they have finished their training or if they're just taking a quick break to cool down. Even hand towels are provided by Bishamon's helpful shinki. The Heavens wants everyone to stay in good condition!

[Tenya gives a briefest glance up at the odd looking contraption that was snugly buckled across his chest before jerking his arm in sharp and rather harsh up and down sweeping motion.]

I once was villainously tricked into wearing a contraption such as this by this dastardly merchant! She used such kind words and lured me into a sense of naivety, thinking that she had only the best of intentions with me.

As such it is a bit embarrassing to have my first shinki to take a familiar form as that...

Ah...

[He's holding his hand up to his face. He's not covering his laughter at all!! ...Okay, a chuckle might have slipped out.]

...Sorry. But it's better to be naive than overly suspicious, isn't it?

Are you going to introduce me? [Meaning the shinki; he can't tell she's soulless.]

I digress! Being too naive is just as hazardous as being overly suspicious! If you are too naive then it would lead people to take advantage of your good nature and use you to achieve their own goals! It may even lead you to mass embarrassment during a very important one in a lifetime situation!

[And just as worked up as he got over the mere thought of that Mei women and all of embarrassing odd inventions, it had only taken a deep inhale and exhale for him to regain his cool.]

Forgive me, This is Aki.

[Upon her name being called the odd looking contraption returned back to his shinki form- a dull blue-green eyed shinki with his name nestle on edge of his right wrist.]

Heh. That's true, too. But if you had to pick, which one would you consider worse?

[When the shinki is returned to human form, Fubuki's immediately struck by something being "off." He has his hand halfway raised to touch her face when he finally realizes how rude that is.] ...Sorry.

I think if I had to choose between being naive or suspicious, I would choose to be suspicious. At least that way if I am wrong I would be able to correct myself, it is a little harder to correct yourself if you do not have any idea of what you did wrong.

[Aki merely pulled her face away from Fubuki and chose to settle behind Tenya with an small and demure smile. Chuckling slightly at his shinki's reaction, Iida shrugged and offered Fubuki a smile of his own.]

It's okay, she is just a bit shy.

You've thought this through... [He folds his arms.] You make sense, but...

[He can't help but feel like there's something a little sad about being an overly suspicious person. That's just his own bias, though.]

[But anyway.] I'm Fubuki. Nice to meet you.

[Hey maybe if the whole Sport's Festival wasn't as fresh on his mind as it is now, perhaps the answer would of been different but... Aki's shinki form is like salt and lemon juice on a fresh wound, a wound to his pride.]

It's a pleasure to meet you as well! It is honestly quite refreshing to meet a friendly face and someone willing to have some good conversation with. Dare I say that we could become friends?

Refreshing...? Have you met someone unfriendly already? [Not that Fubuki can do anything if so, but it's good to know these things.]

[As for being friends... He chuckles.] That's not something you need to confirm, you know? But, of course.
