[ Though he had soon gotten used to Souji’s temple, Teddie always made sure to try to learn the different routes to this place…he didn’t want to get lost! Though, that wasn’t the case now, no…Teddie was on a mission to learn more about being a God!

Or Goddess, as it was.

Though Nike had tried to help in the class, Teddie was still having a hard time getting and latching onto this whole situation. It didn’t help that it bothered him that Naoto didn’t remember him…!

What if the others showed up like that?!

Sighing, he tried to put on a big smile for the other as he headed into the room Souji had designated for them to have their lesson. ]

Sennnnnsei!! Teddie is here!

two; prayer [CLOSED TO NIKE]

[ Teddie definitely knew he had to get this down. After all, this was his first prayer, so he decided on helping the old man. It wasn’t that he felt sorry for him, but he had seen what it was like to lose someone, even if it was yourself. It was something that was dear to him, so he would have to help!

Smiling to his shinki, he motioned to the artisan’s workplace. ]

You ready?

three; marketplace [OPEN TO ANYONE]

[ Teddie had decided to go out and try to look around in the market; it was such a vibrant place! That and he was wondering where he could get some more food…and bear related items.

Naturally, he’s in the convenience store and probably trying to get an obscene amount of ice cream. Maybe someone should stop him…. ]

[ If only Mikleo had enough guts to stop Teddie. Unfortunately, he was more impressed by the amount of ice cream that was being-- hoarded was it? Well, it's not like a water seraph really needs to buy ice cream.

He doesn't really understand that since he can easily put things together with his artes. ]

Do you-- uh need a hand?

[ Maybe he can help-- whatever that is? ]

[ Teddie looks at the ice cream and grins. ]

Yes! If you help me I will give you one ice cream!

[ Mikleo just stares at in curiosity more than for consumption but details. ]

That's-- not necessary, though is there a reason you are buying all of this ice cream? Won't it melt if you don't get it to a cool place soon?

Probearly, but I'm not too worried.

[ Teddie pays and immediately gives one to the other. ]

[ Was that suppose to be a joke or a pun? Somehow it seemed like he keeps meeting interesting people. ]

Are you going to eat it before it melts?

[ Nanako was in the Marketplace as well but she hadn't realized someone else from home was coming, too. She's carrying a big basket that has some groceries and cooking supplies in it, but she pauses when she spots Teddie getting ice cream.

And then she sees how much he's getting and she wanders over to stare in amazement. ]

Teddie! Isn't that too much? Can you eat all that?!

[ A FRIEND. Teddie grins and pats his stomach. ]

Of course not, Nana-chan! I can eat all this and more! My stomach is a bottom pit!

A bottom pit? [ She looks bewildered a moment before giggling. ] Really? Does that mean you get hungry more too?

Yep! That means I'm the hungriest bear! [ But Teddie pays for all this stuff and hands her some of the ice cream. ]

But Nana-chan should have some too!

[ Her mouth drops open in delight. ]

For me? Really?!

[Ann isn't about to tell Teddie to stop, because she's at the very same stall trying to do the very same thing, filling her own basket to the brim. She looks over and offers the young man a broad grin, noting his current haul.]

You can definitely fit a couple more in there! Trust me, I'm a pro.

[Teddie's not the only one here with a killer sweet tooth.]

I can?! [ Teddie smiles to her and gives her a wink. ]

I'll share with you if you want to help me pick out a few more!

[Teddie, that is absolutely the way to her heart.]

Sure!

[She'd like to think she has exceptional taste when it comes to ice cream flavors. She moves closer, leaning back just enough to get a broader view of the freezer itself.]

Well, what do you have so far? You can never have enough chocolatey stuff-- this one

I just grabbed a bunch because I couldn't decide which one to get! So I got them all! [ Teddie paid for them and immediately grabbed the bags. ]

I like the fruity ones!

[Nike was excited at the idea of doing some prayers after getting accustomed to her new surroundings. She was really glad that Ted was feeling more motivated to begin his work as a deity. Ever since their first meeting, learning that he had difficulty over his responsibilities, it wouldn't be a lie to admit that she felt some concern over it, but now it was different especially when their first client was an elderly fellow.]

Were you able to hear his prayer or are we going to get the details now?

[There was a lot she didn't know about being a god, so it does make her wonder if he can hear the prayers or if they need to make house calls like they are doing now. By the looks of it, the old man's workplace looked different compare to other homes within the city, so she can't help feel very curious about almost everything now.]

I think I was able to hear it! I think he needs help with finding his student...

[ Teddie wasn't exactly sure, but he felt like that was the best interpretation of what he heard. ]

But I think it'd be good to hear it again, just because this is the first one! I want to make sure to help!

Okay! It all sounds like a good idea.

[Plus, they'll get the chance to interact with someone from the Near Shore. It'll be a great experience and practice for what they'll expect from them.]

Let's go, then! There should be less people around. We should take the chance to talk with him before he gets busy again.

[After all, the last hour of any place remaining open will be another busy period. Right now, they were in the hours after lunch and closing, it was a good time as any to explore the store. She'll head on over to the door to open it for Ted with a bright smile. Guess who was more than motivated to get started?]

[ Teddie nodded and thought about something that Souji had told him. ]

I'm not entirely sure we can talk with him, but I think there's a way to do it! Plus, it'll be good to find out more incase he's looking for something specific.

[ Stepping into the place, he easily started looking around for the man that was praying. ]

R-Really?

[She didn't hear about that. Then again, she has noticed that most people seem to ignore or not notice her whenever she is out and about. Could that be it?]

Okay, I'll follow your lead. You seem to know more than I do about it.

[Closing the door behind her, she'll begin to look around her surroundings, finding an artisan's workshop to be more remarkable than she realized it'd be. There were all kinds of items showcasing all around the store. All kinds of decorations made from glass, most of them seemed to look like paintings, and there were some wooden items too. Not to mention all the tools found in certain areas of the store.]

Wow! This place is filled with all kinds of stuff. It's so pretty!

[It was clear this particular individual made all kinds of decorations for homes. She couldn't tell if the items were modern or part of the culture as she knows very little about the country they were currently in.]

Hey, Ted! Do you think we should buy a souvenir at some point commemorating our first prayer being answered here?

[ Teddie wasn't entirely sure, but he made sure to pay attention to what Sensei told him. He just hadn't tried it for himself. ]

I think we actually can be seen if we want to be. But I think for now it's best if we hide so we can hear him!

[ The idea of getting a souvenir produced a smile. ]

Yes! I'd love that!

Okay!

[A response to both his suggestion and his agreement in getting a souvenir of their adventures together. Nike couldn't help feel even more giddy over the thought of making memories with him. She really hopes their first prayer will be successfully answered.

As she thinks about it, Nike will continue to roam around the store until she overhears a muffle voice of someone behind a slightly ajar door in the back. She'll take a quick peek inside to find someone sitting on a table by the corner, hands brought close to him, as he continues to whisper under their breath. Nike will notice the whiteness of their hair. Taking a step away from the door, she'll look around for Teddy before deciding to search for him.]

Ted? Hey, Ted? I may have found him....

[All said loud enough for the god to overhear her while hoping it won't disturb the old man in the back of the room.]

[ Teddie was immediately there, looking at him and tilting his head. This was definitely him. ]

Uhm...Okay, I think I'm supposed to listen and then we go to find what he needs. I think.

[ Teddie seemed kind of sheepish. ]

Can you go with me to get closer to him?

Of course! I wasn't planning on leaving all of the work on your shoulders alone.

[She was his helper and weapon, after all. She was going to support him as best as she can.]

Let's go before he decides to get back to work.

[Cautiously opening the door to the inner room, she'll help guide Teddy inside with the hope in not creating too much noise that may startle the old man.]

[ Teddie nodded. He quietly walked in and knelt as close as he could to the old man. From what Souji said, as long as he didn't want to be seen, they couldn't be.

As he listened, he heard the old man and what he wanted...he just wanted to some help...to find his student....]

This poor man...

[She won't do much except watch Ted at work. Trying to understand the old man's prayer, which she trusted he knew what he was doing. Either way, she doubts anything will happen. Like being attacked or worse startling the individual in question. Hopefully.

Nike will lean close behind Ted after overhearing his reaction after listening m to the prayer. It was clear by her expression that she was feeling curious.]

What? What is he asking for?

[ Looking up from where he's been waiting, scrolling through his phone, Souji offers Teddie a warm smile. There's relief there, as always, because it's... good to have a reminder that Kanji and Teddie and Nanako all remember him. Even if Naoto doesn't, even if anyone else shows up (ha) and doesn't remember him... remember what they went through...

There's them.

He pockets his phone. ]

Hey, Teddie. You ready?

I am! [ Teddie grins, sitting down in the first place he could see, looking ready to start. ]

[A familiar girl is in one of the lanes, comparing the same item in different brands. The shopping basket that lies next to Kaya's feet does have snacks and pre-made food, but also some healthy vegetables and meat.

She turns around and sees him, a smile immediately showing on her face.]

Oh, it's Teddie! Hello, are you doing well?

Kaya!! I'm so happy to see you! [ He's already getting all the ice cream bagged up. ]

[That is...a lot of ice cream.]

All of that ice cream is going to melt before you have a chance to eat it!

I can eat all of the ice cream at once! I'm a strong bear!

[She stared at him. A bear? Really? Somehow she was having a hard time with that.]

I'm pretty sure bears aren't known for eating a lot of ice cream at once... Or are they?
