Rat's Test (closed)
Who: Nezumi and Ryuji Sakamoto
Where: somewhere
When: At night sometime early August-y?
What: Nezumi decides to test Shion's god.
[Nezumi's first few impressions of Ryuji weren't that good. From what he'd seen so far, the other god was incompetent and dim-witted. He certainly didn't seem strong enough to keep Shion safe. Of course he knew that people could be surprising. He held out no hope that Ryuji was one of them, still he planned to give the test anyway. When the other guy failed it, maybe it would be enough to change him, or at least make him more aware of his weaknesses so that he could better protect who he was charged with.
He didn't think either of those would work either. He truly had no faith in this other guy. In the end it wouldn't really matter how this turned out; Nezumi would still protect Shion.
He'd found and followed Ryuji for a bit, but it wasn't until night was fully upon them that he started the test. He gave something simple, to start with, a soft rustling of some bushes every now and then.]

Whistling a tune to himself, he pays the first few rustlings no mind. Probably some animal or the wind or something.... except there's no breeze tonight. It's not until the fourth one that he slows his pace, his whistling trailing off into radio silence. He hadn't thought to bring either Ann or Shion with him tonight, or any other night. Is this something he'll be regretting?
He glances around as he keeps on with a steady pace.]
Yo, Makoto. If that's you, this ain't even funny, alright?
[Even though he knows she was never the type of person to pull shit like this...]

Nezumi was silent and fast, he wouldn't be found by a guy like Ryuji until he wanted to be found. So for the moment he just gave a slightly louder rustle to a different bush, but no other noise.]

Alright, whoever you are, you're just askin' for a serious ass-beatin' if you wanna keep hidin'.

He lets out a short, deep laugh at the threat, before silently and quickly moving again. From the side, he watches what will happen now, if anything.]

If you ain't some ayakashi, then I ain't gonna play with you.
[He's trying to sound as threatening as possible but his voice cracks just a smidgen enough for it to be noticeable as he's engulfed in an eruption of blue flames that burst from his feet. When they are gone, they reveal him in his Phantom Thief costume, mask over his eyes.]
You gonna stop bein' a coward? I ain't playin' around.

Too slow.
[He spoke low again, but loud enough for Ryuji to hear him. He moved until he was behind him again, choosing to teleport this time in case Ryuji finally decided to attack. He still didn't expect much from the guy, but he also didn't know just what kind of powers he had.]
