[Ken sniffs, lifting an arm to roughly scrub his sleeve over his face as though he's just become aware of the fact that he's been crying and the tears there. It's entirely possible he's doing it to hide fresh tears as well, though.] ...okay. [The word is small and quiet, but it's not a sign of reluctance; if anything, he's happy. Though he's wavering over whether or not to feel guilty, moving on to a new god with Axel only so recently gone...
The only thing preventing definite guilt - and he hardly needs more right now - is that he just can't see how continuing to not have a god would somehow be a more loyal choice. Ken's more pragmatic animal instincts are butting up against more human sentiments, the abstract idea that his apparent disloyalty in moving on from Axel so quickly could possibly mean anything when Axel is either gone or dead.
He looks over at Chikusa again, then back to Butch. He's vaguely aware that convincing Chikusa to go with a new god may be harder, especially when Chikusa doesn't necessarily know Butch the way Ken does...but he thinks he can do it. And with that thought comes another.]
If you're gonna make Chikusa your shinki, too...you should make him your exemplar. He's better at it. [He doesn't know that Butch already has a shinki; he hasn't even considered the possibility yet.]
