A: Photographs and Memories

[ After talking with Izumo a few days before about his plan to make a wall of memories in his bar of all the gods and shinki who have come and gone, so they'd be remembered, Nanako can be found wandering through the Far Shore and near the temples she comes across, borrowed camera in hand. While she's quicker to approach people she knows with her request, she will often wander up to strangers as well, trying to hide her shyness and nerves behind a hopeful smile. ]

B: Practice Makes Perfect

[ Nanako has been very determined of late to get better at her abilities, whatever they may be. So it's not unusual to find her practicing at her temple, or perhaps out somewhere on the Far Shore for a change of scenery. There might be a tiny girl wielding a bow and arrow, taking careful aim at her target as she practices again and again on improving her aim.

Or perhaps it's the light show that's drawn you in, a tiny hovering angel surrounded by a warm glow and occasionally trying to figure out how to direct that light where she wants it to go - with varying degrees of questionable success, though she remains looking determined, even when she fails. ]

C: Safe and Sound

[ Nanako is crouched beside her shrine, peering underneath the planks of wood that make the walk that surrounds it, looking distressed. And apparently pleading with someone - something? - hidden in the deep shadows underneath. ]

[ Or perhaps you've stopped by on a sunny afternoon to find her sprawled on her stomach on the dock that stretches out over the lake, bowl of crumbled bread crusts beside her as she feeds the fat lazy fish circling beneath her. Watch out for the pelicans, though. They sometimes like to swoop at unexpected visitors. ]

Are you new?

[ She might have been momentarily distracted by the mission that had brought here by the realization that she'd never seen this temple here before, or this goddess. ]

I didn't see this place here before.

[...Aw, that's. Really a very innocent question. Lucina smiles gently and nods, rising to her feet.]

Yes, I am. My name is Lucina - what is yours?

I'm Nanako! [ The little girl introduces herself with a bright smile, hand lifting in a shy wave. ] My temple's not too far away from here, over there on a hill, with the big wall around it.

Oh! So then you are our neighbor. It's nice to meet you.

[Hopefully this child has some adult supervision, whether in the form of a God or a Shinki...]

If you will forgive me for saying so, you seem...very young. What might you be doing all alone?

[ She has a lot of supervision, although the 'adult' part is questionable, does this count? ]

I am! And oh! I was taking pictures for a friend. Is it alright if I take your picture?

[Oh yeah it totally counts]

A picture - oh, yes, of course! I know what those are!

[She looks surprisingly proud to know that.]

[ Considering Nanako has come across a few people who didn't so far, she beams at the other girl's obvious pride at the knowledge. ]

Oh, good! I promise I'll be quick. Just make sure you smile! [ She instructs this with a giggle as she lifts the camera to ready the shot. ]

[She also knows about the concept of smiling for pictures - but the gesture is a little stiff, like she's still getting used to the expression, but it's ready for when Nanako takes the picture.]

[ Nanako snaps the photo, pleased with the results, and crosses over to sit beside the other girl, angling the camera towards her so she can see the image on the screen. ]

There, what do you think?

[It. Takes her a moment to look down and check it, and an even longer one to wonder what she's supposed to think about it. It's an image of her that someone captured in an instant, it's already pretty great.]

It's very good...are you taking many pictures?

[ She looks suitably pleased with the praise. ] Yeah, I have been! I'm helping a friend with a project.

A project? What is it for?

[Curious!]

Mmm, he's making a wall full of photographs of all the gods and shinki who have come here. Because somet9imes people leave again and then we have memories of everyone!

I see. So...it's a memorial, of sorts. And this has just been started recently, I assume?

Yeah, but it can also be of people who are still here, too. Of happy memories and things. But yeah, it's still new. It's why I'm helping him get pictures of people.

I see. That's very kind of you. Might I ask where it will be displayed?

[Part of her is...just a touch curious to see who's up there.]

Oh! Do you know Izumo yet? It will be at his bar! It's on the Near Shore. [ She beams happily at the mention of her friend. ] I can show you sometime, if you haven't been there yet?

I'm not sure. I've...met some people here, so far, but I'm sure I have not met all of them. And I don't really know where certain things are on the Near Shore as of yet. I would greatly appreciate a guide.

[ Nanako reaches out to pat her on the knees. ] It can be easy to get lost there when you don't know where you're going. Don't worry, I can take you there sometime, if you want? I don't mind. I can show you some of the fun places to go, too!

[Hopefully it's not weird for a little girl to lead around a grown woman.]
