[Just as before, Rin searches through the pebbles after Sousuke’s tossed his then repeats the same motions. Cleaning it off, shaking away the water, barely taking aim then letting it go. For no reason other than to keep his mind occupied, he counts each skip. There’s no competition, no bet or forfeit... For once they’re doing this for the sake of doing it. Awkward, yes. Uncomfortable... no, not as much as he thought it might be. Honestly, out of all the nights they’ve shared in this new life together, this might be the most relaxing. Easy. Normal. The only things they need to worry about are what any other teenager would worry about.
