Who: Alex and you!
When: Last week of August (edit: oops I got the timing wrong)
What: Catchall
Where: Oshun's Temple
Something brought you into this forest, fate, destiny, curiosity, the lack of a sense of direction... whatever it was, here you are. It’s dense with trees, the sounds of birds, insects and other unknown animals all around you. If you go in further towards the heart of the forest, you’ll find a river cutting through it,and over it, a concrete bridge leading to what looks like an abandoned building covered in overgrown plants and worn out by the elements.
Welcome to Oshun’s temple!
[ Here are some more references for the temple. Just imagine..more plants.

80% of Alex hoped someone would hear her calling for help, 20% didn’t, considering how embarrassing and stupid the situation she was in right now was. In an attempt to clean up the building a bit more, Alex has been working on lessening the amount of greenery inside. But vines, branches, and the like were everywhere. She could snip the leaves and branches without much problem, but the vines were tricky. They were wrapped all around the railing along the second floor and snaked up the walls. Alex didn’t really mind, but she wanted to at least lessen the amount so it looked a little neater. That was where she made her mistake.
See, the vines in this forest weren’t regular vines. They guarded the place, and were cohabitants with the god residing there. Alex, however, was unaware of this and while she tried to pull at a stubborn piece of vine, it decided to defend itself, yanking her over the railing as it tried to slip out of her hands.
So, there she was, hanging by the railing, unable to pull herself back up over it. Not an optimal situation when you're in a dress...or at all, really. The only options she had were to keep trying, try to call for help, or drop and maybe just break a few bones. It was starting to look like plan C was how it was going to go.
B.
While the serenity of the forest was nice, it got too quiet even for her. Her ‘temple’ came with everything she needed, except for a radio. Alex made a mental note to buy one the next time she went to the Near Shore. She didn't mind having some quiet time, but when it went on for too long, she'd start to hear things she'd much rather not. Music helped.
For now, she'd have to fill that silence herself. There should be nothing to worry about since the place was secluded enough, plus the building had some pretty damn good acoustics.
The soft tune carries throughout the building, and even a bit to the outside of it as she continues to sing without a care while sweeping up the floor. It’s not like anyone was around anyway.
C. Wildcard! Maybe the vines decide to mess with you if you get to close to the building, whatever floats your boat! If you’d like to do anything else hmu at

Upon seeing the goddess stuck in vines, however, doesn't really surprise him so much as it should be. Instead, he looks more bemused than anything as he looks up at her.]
...Need some help?

Lavi..!
[She's not sure whether she's relieved or horrified that he's seeing her like this.]
...Yes..ple--AH!
[Her grip slips, but she manages to grab the next bar right below it.]
Yes please!!
[She says a little more desperately.]
no subject
Just drop and I'll catch you. I can't promise that I might not see anything, though.
no subject
eh--Drop..?!
[She looked down, which really didn't help in convincing her.]
no subject
[He peers up.]
Just close your eyes and let go. I promise nothing bad will happen.

Hello?

Is..is someone there?!
no subject
....Shit. How did you even manage that?
[ And then he's moving again, coming to stand under her, trying to decide if it'd be easier to catch her or to try and find his way up there to pull her back up. ]
no subject
[She squirms, attempting to cover herself up with her legs when he moves under her, though there's really not much she can do in that position.]
no subject
I'm not....! Don't worry, I'm not looking, just... do you want me to catch you or try and pull you up? How good's your grip?

It only takes Maria a moment to recognise the woman she met during the karaoke night, and she waves a hand in greeting as she steps forward into the light whenever there's a break in song.]
Alex, right? That was lovely.
no subject
Maria..! How..how long were you there?
no subject
Only a minute or two, don't worry. I overheard you from outside and got curious. So this is your temple?
no subject
[She holds the broom behind her back, looking at her sheepishly]
It's..a little cramped with all the plants, sorry. I've been trying to clean up, but it's never ending with all the leaves.
no subject
[At least none of the bedrooms are like that, but still.] I think it has a certain charm to it, anyway.

When that meant seeing Alex hanging from a railing, while part of him wondered, Shizuo knew he should act instead of talking too much. ]
Hold on just a bit longer.
[ Jumping up so he was also hanging off the railing, but with a foot up to brace himself, Shizuo wraps an arm around Alex. Not enough to pull her towards him, but she had more of a safety net than before. ]
Okay, if you can move to hang onto me, I'll get you down.
Omg I didnt get a notif for this D:
Ah! Shizuo..?!
[He had surprised her so much, it was a good thing he was holding on to her already.]
O-okay.
[She let's one hand go so she can put it around his shoulder, then slowly let's go of the other so she can grab hold of her other hand. She knows Shizuo is strong, but she can't help but try not to put too much of her weight on him.]
I was too sneaky for notifs, obviously
I've got ya, okay? I can't tell if you're holding on properly, but you really should cuz I'm gonna drop down. Which is why I'm gonna hold you a bit closer and tighter. Just, uh, lemme know if I'm doing so too tightly.
[ He won't actually squeeze her to him too strongly, but it's certainly a concern he has. ]
If you're worried about my shoulder, don't be. It's been healed for a little while now.
Tag ninja
...Wait, you're dropping down from here?!
[With the both of them?!]
Damn straight
[ He really doesn't see how this is strange or whether it could be hard to believe. ]
Shinki are pretty light for these kinds of things. We land softly.
