( open ) ❀ healing magic
Who: Sakura and you
When: September 11-13
Where: Hakkai's school/the clinic and Konohanasakuya-hime's shrine
What: Clinic set up and Sakura regains a magic spell!
1. (9/11) Hakkai's School ❀ clinic set up
( It's a day of set up for anyone still willing to help. It helps a lot that Ayumu already had something in the beginning so they're really just building on it some more. Through assorted donations, they've managed to collect a fair amount of supplies and equipment to work with.
Sakura is a small girl-- not even five feet-- and she isn't particularly strong given her lifestyle and profession but that doesn't stop her from pulling her weight if not more... literally. Right now, she's trying to move a particularly large and heavy box. Anyone watching can tell it's something she won't be able to do on her own easily but that doesn't stop her from not asking for help... )
2. (9/12) Hakkai's School ❀ clinic set up
( Since her original announcement about the clinic and subsequent attempts to spread the word, Sakura's been hard at work on this clinic a success. She's normally a reserved person but it's clear that this is something she's really passionate about. Thanks to everyone's efforts, set up has been going smoothly too. They've collected a small assortment of medicines-- over the counter and traditional-- and a considerable collection of first aid supplies ranging from bandages to bottles of blessed water.
On a nearby desk, there is a pile of books. It's mostly on medicine and biology but it looks like there are a few books taken from Hakkai's school as well. Sakura sits at the desk, flipping through the pages and writing neat and careful notes in a notebook. Going off the page she's on, it looks like she's close to filling it completely. But as she writes, her pen trails and her head begins to bob sleepily until her writing stops completely, her breathing becomes rhythmic, and she's fallen asleep while sitting up right.
When she hears someone-- entering the room, coming too close, or suddenly making a noise-- her head shoots up and she shrieks, )
-- I-I'm awake!
3. 9/13 Konohanasakuya-hime's temple ❀ Magic
( Someone's managed to convince her to take a break from work for a bit. It felt nice to sleep in and have some time to herself.
A few days ago, Sakura had woken up in her bed to find a set of unbound talismans in her bed. She'd recognized them right away and had gathered them up quickly, counting to make sure she'd acquired the entire set. She wasn't sure where it came from but after a few days, the talismans were still there. She hadn't had time to experiment since the moon viewing happened right after and then there was work to be done but since she has free time now...
The main courtyard is open enough. She should't disturb anything (like her gardens) here. Gathering up the talismans in her hands, she fans them out in front of her and as if by magic (spoilers: it is), the talismans rise into the air to form a circle in front of her. From the center, a ram charges forward and wow isn't this a great time to walk right into a magical attack when you probably just wanted to share sweets or see who lives here or something? )
O-oh, watch out!
( Luckily for you, the spirit will veer suddenly in the other direction and disappear wispily into the air. The talismans return neatly to her hand and she runs toward you, )
Oh my goodness, are you all right? Are you hurt anywhere?! I'm s-so sorry...!
4. Misc ❀ Wildcard/Catchall
( Hit me up with your own prompt! If you want to plot something out, reach me on plurk at

And something about this one in particular feels so familiar...
But she doesn't have time to dwell on that thought, because there's a ram and it's charging right at her, oh Goddesses-- she quickly jumps out of its path, her skirts billowing wildly in the wake of its charge. She spends a moment ensuring her modesty is preserved and smoothing her dress down afterwards, but she is quick to brush off the apologies of the girl dashing her way.]
No, no, the fault is mine! I was not watching where I was going... But I am unharmed, please, do not fret.

N-no! I should have made sure no one else w-was around. ( Eyes tearing, she's so stressed about this now. Here she's gone and almost attacked a guest. ) What a t-terrible first impres...sion--?
( W a i t a s e c o n d )

[The teary eyes and anxious expression are a far cry from the gentle guide she saw in her dream, but the difference is not so great that she cannot put two and two together. Especially after encountering so many other gods and shinki whose dreams she had invaded, it was only a matter of time before she ran into the one with the most pleasant of them all.
She calms herself with a steeling breath, and places a hand over her heart. Bowing her head, her tone takes a turn for the gravely apologetic.]
On the contrary... I believe I have left the worse impression between the two of us.

( Is that right? But she was from a dream! And she's heard of dreams coming true but this is something else entirely. It's almost prophetic? Saizo had mentioned she might have some prophetic powers given her occupation as a priestess but that was different. "Having a feeling" is completely different from "actually dreaming about someone you haven't met yet." She's a little frightened by the idea of it. )
Oh... Oh! ( She isn't sure what's going on but that's no reason to not be polite. She gives Zelda a quick but respectful bow, hands neatly in front of her and head down low. ) I-I'm not sure what could be worse than a-accidentally almost attacking a guest...

I... intruded upon the privacy of your dreams. Such is the nature of the power granted to me here as a goddess. [A rueful smile.] It was lovely, seeing the Kingdom of Hoshido, but that does not change the fact that it was not mine to see. I am sorry, it will not happen again.

( She sounds surprised, almost confused, but then there's a glimmer of realization in her eye. Ah, she remembers the exact dream. She'd woken up thinking she'd remembered the night's dream particularly vividly for some reason. She also remembers the dream even now and her face turns a shade of pink, almost embarrassed.
She's never had something like this happen before so she isn't sure how to respond. She's embarrassed to have had her dreams seen by someone else but at the same time, it was so harmless. And Zelda seems so sorry right now... She's quiet for a moment, trying to find the right way to respond )
It was... a m-mistake? I don't quite understand but... p-please, don't be troubled by it. If anything, i-it's a pleasure to meet you in person, Princess Zelda. I only wish i-it could have gone better... but I think we both share that sentiment.

Indeed. I know it makes little sense, but regardless I am grateful for your kindness and understanding.
[And there's a part of her that wishes to heap more praise upon the younger girl, but she refrains, not wishing to embarrass her further. She tries a more genuine smile instead.]
But if we are in agreement, the perhaps we may start again? This time with greater control of the magics each of us commands.
[girl you better not be beating yourself up about the ram thing okay]
