What: Aftermath of the Moon event, possible Welcome Center things, and Izumo just needing a huge break from this all.

[A. Double Cross Bar - Morning]

[Anyone who decides to come to the bar today will surprisingly find it closed. There’s no sign that states the reason why, but it is.

Until Izumo walks up to the bar, eyebrow raised upon seeing whoever might be waiting outside.]

Haven’t been waiting long, have you?

[B. Training]

[It’s been a while since he’s actually done any sort of training with his borderlines, so he’s taken up a spot at an abandoned temple. He doesn’t really seem to be focused on doing the regular borderline casting spell, but is instead working on the offensive type.

Which is why anyone who’s walking by should immediately backtrack the moment an offensive borderline surrounded in flames flies by their face.

Izumo looks somewhat apologetic.]

[C. Temple Hopping]

[Due to his injuries from Grell, healed by Mikoto, Izumo has mostly taken up residency at Yona’s temple. There are some days where he would suddenly disappear without a word to the main residents there, often being at either Aymeric’s or even somewhere near Nari’s temple. Since he’s still recovering, he’s trying not to move around too much, but he also hates staying still as well.

It’s why it’s not surprising to see him around Cnoc Ainé, Neptune’s Compound, or even Forseti’s Temple. Anyone who runs into him at or near these places are free to bother him or convince him to get some more rest. Being hurt by a chainsaw isn’t exactly the best, after all.]

Didn't do much besides cause gloom.

[ Sure it made them know who was part of their world but the backlash alone wasn't worth it.

He bites his lip. He was bothering Izumo, wasn't he? He couldn't keep just telling him his problems. Although this one it would be easier to explain with him. ]

Don't know if its really worth talking about...

[ It was too easy to talk to Izumo. Too easy to let down his guard with him. Maybe that says something about what group they were... ]

[Some things are worth the risk.

Izumo isn't sure if this is one of them.

He raises an eyebrow.]

If it's something that's bothering you, I'm all ears. There isn't anything you haven't said that doesn't have some worth to it.

[ He fidgets with his hands for a moment, debating in his head whether this was a good idea or not. Well...he's come this far. ]

That time...when you found me...young me. You remember?

[ As easy as it felt talking to Izumo, he still was reluctant. ]

Yes, I do.

[And he hasn’t brought it up again given how Eric reacted the last time he did.]

[ He appreciates him not bringing it up. It confused him to no end. But, he was the one who saw him act like that and it was either tell Izumo or tell Nanako...and well, the girl was trying to help him too much. ]

I...was scared or... about going on the chairs. Or other furniture. Like I wasn't allowed to go on them...and...

[ This sounded stupid, didn't it? Why was everything just so stupid like this? This was really hard to explain but since Izuno saw it, maybe he'll understand better. ]

It's...back. Since the moon festival.

[There is no judgment in his eyes, no hint of it on his face. Instead, he might even look somewhat worried, a glimmer of it in his eyes.]

Have you spoken to Ren about it? [Because while he's flattered Eric seems to trust him enough with this knowledge, Ren really should be the first one to know about it.]

[ He shakes his head. ]

No... [ Honestly he's tired of always having to tell Ren. He's got so much more to do then just help his shinki with these weird issues. ] It's just with beds...and some chairs anyways.

[A soft hum. He doesn't say anything about that, but then there's a hand on Eric's head again. The touch this time is heavier, reassuring Eric in its own way through the small contact.]

I'm happy you told me this, Eric. [Because that, in itself, is a kind of trust that makes Izumo feel honored.] Even if it's just beds and chairs, you have to remember that there is no one here who will do that to you. I can't speak for anyone else, but I can assure you that there is no need to fear that when you're around me.

[ He's surprised by the hand on his head again but he doesn't tense up this time. He lets it stay because it does help him feeling better. ]

It's hard to describe already and you at least saw before... [ He looks down a bit, fidgeting with his sleeves. ] I know, at least...the people I know don't seem to be like that.

[ He has heard stories but it seems Eric's been good at avoiding bad people...for now. And who knows how much else he's been affected by this or could recognize...He doesn't know. ]

...Thanks. It's all, sort's of weird and pointless, having this...but...thanks.

It's good for you to trust the people you know, or at least, trust the people you have grown close with.

[His expression softens.]

You don't have to thank me, or ever apologize for how you feel, okay? They are your feelings and no one can tell you otherwise, but if you ever feel the need to talk about anything, feel free to come to me.

[ It was. And, he feels a bit silly now having thought these people were bad. Yata and Izuno have done nothing but be kind and understanding to him. Even Mikoto had that one moment, when he wasn't being a vague idiot.

This has all been a mess, but it turned out for the better, at least. ]

Okay. [ He gives him a small, shy smile. ] Thanks. You're pretty good at this.

[It always has to be worst before it gets better, right?

Izumo chuckles, grinning at him.]
