[A. Double Cross Bar - Morning]

[Anyone who decides to come to the bar today will surprisingly find it closed. There’s no sign that states the reason why, but it is.

Until Izumo walks up to the bar, eyebrow raised upon seeing whoever might be waiting outside.]

Haven’t been waiting long, have you?

[B. Training]

[It’s been a while since he’s actually done any sort of training with his borderlines, so he’s taken up a spot at an abandoned temple. He doesn’t really seem to be focused on doing the regular borderline casting spell, but is instead working on the offensive type.

Which is why anyone who’s walking by should immediately backtrack the moment an offensive borderline surrounded in flames flies by their face.

Izumo looks somewhat apologetic.]

Did you get hit?

[C. Temple Hopping]

[Due to his injuries from Grell, healed by Mikoto, Izumo has mostly taken up residency at Yona’s temple. There are some days where he would suddenly disappear without a word to the main residents there, often being at either Aymeric’s or even somewhere near Nari’s temple. Since he’s still recovering, he’s trying not to move around too much, but he also hates staying still as well.

It’s why it’s not surprising to see him around Cnoc Ainé, Neptune’s Compound, or even Forseti’s Temple. Anyone who runs into him at or near these places are free to bother him or convince him to get some more rest. Being hurt by a chainsaw isn’t exactly the best, after all.]

I had the misfortune to run into someone wielding a chainsaw.

Wait, you're actually fucking serious right now? We haven't even gotten to Halloween yet, why the fuck are there chainsaws?! How are you even alive right now? You don't just walk away from running into a chainsaw!

[Izumo laughs a bit.]

She didn’t exactly run me through with it, but I still got injured badly.

[ Yata jabs a finger at him. ] For fuck's sake, Izumo, do we gotta wrap you in bubble wrap or something? Why are you tangling with someone with a chainsaw? I thought I was the one with the dumb ideas!

You’re still the one with the dumb ideas. I wasn’t exactly planning on fighting her, but she wouldn’t let me go otherwise.

[but he raises an eyebrow at him.]

You still haven’t told me what you’re doing here so early, though.

Why didn't you just set her on fire, then?

[ No one liked that, it didn't matter who it was. But as far as diversions went, it worked great. Probably even on assholes with chainsaws.

At the question, he shrugs, settling back down on the stool comfortably once more. ]

I didn't get to talk to you at the... whatever that was, before. I wanted to see what you thought.

I did. She just found it amusing.

[Then again, it was Grell.

He frowns a bit, tapping his fingers against the counter.]

You mean other than Mikoto being an idiot?

[ His mouth just drops open at that. ] Amusing? Shit. What kinda freak did you find, Izumo? Even the ayakashi get pissy about that.

[ But more seriously... He snorts at Izumo's summary of that day. ]

Well, that doesn't seem to be anything new, does it? You mean by calling everyone out like that?

[Izumo chuckles.]

That was him being reckless. [Even if Yata was partially the reason why...] Did you talk to him?

Tch. What is it with this place and redheads? [ Yata makes an annoyed sound. ] Maybe you should just steer clear of all of them. They're all fucking psychotic freaks.

[ Yata, have you looked at your own hair lately? ]

A little. I guess. Although 'talk' is probably using it loosely. It is that guy.

He almost laughs.]

Exactly. How long did it take before you've managed to get words out of him?

[ Yata just smirks at him. ]

Well, I never claimed not to be psychotic, you know.

I dunno, I wasn't counting. But he didn't feel like sharing why he called us all out, other than maybe he was just fucking bored or something.

Trying to get answers out of Mikoto is like pulling teeth.

Except you'd run out of teeth before you actually got any answers.

[ Yata's voice is dry. ]

Do you know anything about it? I know Eric showed up, too, but he was a little weirded out by the whole thing. Saru was pissed at me for going at all.

I don't blame Fushimi for getting upset about it. [He can understand getting upset about it.

Really, it's a lot of a risk, but Izumo shakes his head.]

But unfortunately, I don't know anything about it at all. [Regardless of whether or not he has an idea.]

Saru gets upset at a lot of stupid things.

[ Or at least when Yata does a lot of stupid things. Which, let's be honest, is quite frequently.

He squints at Izumo for a moment. ] He didn't tell you anything about it, either?

If he does, it's usually because of you.

[He raises an eyebrow back at him.]

No. Should he have told me about it?

[ He makes a face. It's not like he can argue that, after all. ]

I dunno, shouldn't he have? I mean, you're his shinki and shit.

Exactly, I'm his shinki. [Something flickers in his eyes at that, a hint of annoyance and just a speck of pain.] But that doesn't mean Mikoto tells me everything.

Well, no, but I figured he'd tell you some things. [ Yata, being Yata, completely misses that reaction. Sorry, bro. ] He really is an annoying guy, isn't he?

That he is.

[Even yet, Izumo looks...oddly fondly exasperated.] He's annoying, but he's got that kind of aura that draws people to him. [Which might explain the rest of HOMRA still being lured to Mikoto despite him being an idiot.]

Which is why he's so annoying! I don't think he even wants people around him. What are we supposed to do then, huh?
