What: Ra's Temple exploded, again. (3rd time!)

Summary: Izumo is gone. Mikoto didn't take it well. 


a. Amid the rubble lies the god of the sun burning brightly as his namesake. The flames have yet to die down and the black keeps spreading, but it's not blight that mars his skin as Mikoto struggles to get the red aura under control.


b. Mikoto sits amid the rubble looking exhausted as white flames burn brightly from the palm of his hands as the god heals the burn marks.


c. Healing is an exhausting task, if anyone approaches him after he's healed they'll find Mikoto trying to get up and failing. He's about ready to pass out.


d. Wildcard - Go wild. Make up your own scenario. Catch him at anytime before he passes out or after he wakes up! OTA!

Then change him. That's what you want, don't you? Make him think like you.

You've taken his powers but have no clue why they're his in the first place.

[ He laughs. It makes his head spin but it's worth it. ]

[Shun pauses for a moment at that remark before his mouth twists into not a smile, but a faint smirk. It's a little funny, after all, the idea Mikoto has gotten of the situation. It clears a moment later, though, into something much more steeled.]

He can keep his powers. I haven't touched them since the first time. But if you think I'm making someone think like me just because I'm not treating you both like you're the only two people in this whole damn place that matter, you're more of an idiot than I thought.

[ He shrugs. ]

Can't argue there.

[ He knows he's unreasonable, which is why he has no intention of being swayed by him or anyone else. ]

Is that all?

[ Because he's just about to pass out from exhaustion and though he might like him, he doesn't plan on passing out in front of him. ]

[Shun doesn't look terribly impressed by that answer, but eventually, he just sighs in annoyance. Clearly Mikoto isn't going to be any more receptive than he usually is, even when about to faint, so Shun just figures he'll be as straightforward as he has to be.]

At least pass out somewhere in the rubble you're reasonably out of sight. Your men are going to have enough to worry about with that video.

[That's mostly Shun's concern here, really - what kind of effect this might have on the people who care about Mikoto rather than the man himself.]

As you wish.

[ He says tauntingly as he stands up to his full height and uses the last of his strength to teleport back to his room dozens of feet beneath the ruins of his temple. It's the one place he can't destroy, set away from everyone. The magma ready to boil over inside him coupled with his bone deep exhaustion has him crashing soon after teleporting in. He'll be out for three days while the temple repairs itself which will need at least a week. ]

[Once Mikoto disappears, Shun hisses quietly and turns away, kicking aside some of the rubble as he does. At least he does seem to have vanished somewhere people aren't going to stumble across him, but he still can't help but think this whole thing is on the borderline of ending terribly.]
