[CLOSED]
Who: Add, Rin Okumura, Zelda, Oscar, Lenneth... and more TBA!
Where: The depths of Henir's temple
When: October 1st through the 2nd
What: Doing science on the spooky chaos temple core was never a good plan.
Warnings: Various degrees of mind control/manipulation, existential horror, and at least one death. Will update as needed.
Once the formal party is over, Add is already back at his temple making preparations. A pair of messages are sent to his "assistants" to ensure that they're aware of the date—a simple reminder and directions to his temple, along with the slightly ominous "Knock first, I'm not chasing you down if you get lost."
The outside of the temple is looking especially unkempt and overgrown today, but if Add's instructions are followed the door will open up into a wide dark space, blue cubes floating aimlessly about. Star-like lights glitter distantly in the abyss, occasionally blocked out by drifting dark shapes. Even further beyond that is a giant blue orb that never quite seems to stay in the same place. It's hard to miss, at least, but trying to gauge how big or far away it is might give you a headache.
Gravity appears to "stick" to the surface of each cube—any surface—but only as long as you remain in contact with them. So, get used to floating around and jumping between them. The meeting point is at the largest cube near the centre of the cluster, as per Add's directions.

[Rin looks around him, just to confirm there's nothing here to wait for. Just the same ol' unkempt grounds, and tower. He turns back to the Valkyrie.]
Waiting for what?

[She isn't deliberately obfuscating her presence here, merely being blunt and poorly social, as is her wont.]
no subject
That sounds really important, but maybe you'll like to come inside?
[ He gestures to the tower.
If she's here waiting, then maybe she's here to see Add. Maybe venture is another term for getting lost within illusions. It can be a journey depending on if you wish to cure boredom.]

[She may believe Rin has a greater importance in all of this than he perhaps does. Why wouldn't he be involved, though?]
You may lead the way.

[Rin leads the way over to the entrance. He opens the door for Valkyrie, minding his manners.]
By the way, I'm Add's shinki! I'm Rin.

He seems more interested that she plans to go somewhere with Add. This is the first time he's hearing of this!]
No...I don't think so. He's never spoken of going anywhere.
[Rin continues to lead her forward, and as soon as they enter the tower. The room warps sending them straight to the cube space. That's weird!]
no subject
Ah. How interesting. I wonder if he does not mean to take you with us.

Rin is silent for a moment. This chick has a valid point, since this is the first time he's hearing of it. He's a little disappointed at first, but then he's just pissed the next.]
Well, we'll see about that!
[He seems even more determined to get to their living area. He starts directing the Valkyrie through the cube space, leaping from one cube to the next until they get to the largest one.]

Not at all!
[The shinki completely agrees. It's not welcoming to visitors, especially towards him when he first came to Add's temple. You really have to want to push through in order to keep on. Though the Valkyrie seems like she's able to hold her own.
Rin directs her to an entryway on the surface, he pushes through it to reveal their living space. It's not so much a room, but a location. They stand in front of an estate that overlooks a forest and a lake. There's a large, glowing tree in the center of the lake.]
He's in here! [Rin beckons her to follow him inside. Add should be there still neck deep in his work.]
no subject
How remarkable.
[Hidden depths, it seems. She shakes her head in quiet disbelief as she paces after Rin.]
no subject
Rin chuckles at the Valkyries's comment.] Yeah, I had the same reaction too. It's really...different from everything else you saw.
[ He gets to the front door of the manor, and holds it open for her. If she walks past the foyer, she's bound to run into Add. Rin goes and runs off to the kitchen. If there's more guests coming, he needs to prepare some sort of snack. No one should be hungry on an expedition!]
