Open ♔ Within your heart, within pure amore
Who: Hibiki & you (prompts for Apollo & Nekhbet's temples)
When: October 6
Where: The Far Shore, Central District; Near Shore, select cinemas
What: Hibiki's temple has finally moved where it belongs (?). She enjoys this, then steels herself for a Mighty Ordeal. (Also featuring HIBIKI IN A MOVIE.)
[ I. - Central District ]
If you live, or otherwise had business in, the Central District, you'll notice there is a new temple. It's a giant white-and-purple castle with a gold statue of Shikyoin Hibiki, current Apollo and CEO of CelePara Talent Agency, on either side of its impressive (and unlocked) doors.
Explore within and you just might find the master of the house doing the same. There are so many new touches to appreciate! Like the magnolia trees outside, or the lake in the backyard.
Or the pirate ship floating in the lake.

Yeah, Hibiki's probably on the pirate ship. Having tea. Like this is normal.
Her primary reaction to the move, you see, is it's about time. ]
[ II. - Near Shore Movie Theater ]

[ Hibiki has come to see her own film in this theater. It doesn't seem to have been reviewed many places, and the interview Tsuzuki had helped with never ended up getting published, which was strange. But the film, at least, has been released.
She's sitting in the center of the theater, in the Best seat in the house. The movie itself.......does not deserve to be associated with the word "best". In any way. It's a formulaic, poorly-shot Western.
You would not be able to tell this from the look on its star's face as she watches it. ]
[ III. - Outside Nekhbet's Temple ]
Gulp.
[ Hibiki is standing outside Shun's temple, a bouquet of crimson-red roses held in one hand, a box ofPrench French sweets in the other, and a trickle of sweat winding its way down the back of her million-pollar neck. She'd gone to her film as fortification after making her CelePara victory announcement, and now the time has come to congratulate the victor in person - while also paying a housewarming call on her new neighbor. Such personal touches are her style.
Except Chinatsu is. Mad. At her. And also living. With. Kurosaki Shun.
This is a trial. It must be. A trial from the Heavens to prove her worth as a (future) God of Fortune. Her fate, as someone who is just too perfect to live. A dramatic development to make her inevitable triumph more exciting.
She can do this. She must do this.
She must enter
where the vultures
live.

Taking a deep breath, Hibiki steps onto Shun's property. ]

Hopefully. Not sure what she even did to warrant such a grudge from those vultures.
[Lavi noms on the pocky.]
no subject
I suppose it would help if we knew who owned those vultures in the first place. Or maybe they're like magpies and find themselves drawn to shiny objects.
[ Nom. ]
no subject
[This redhead is familiar with it, but they've never bothered Lavi before.]
...But given how Shun and Hibiki seem to be on bad terms with each other, it might make some sense.
no subject
[ Another nibble of pocky before she breathes in... and yells. ]
FIGHT, HIBIKI-KUN!
[ There we go. Friend support quota reached for the day. ]
no subject
A blink and he resumes eating.]
Think she'll last long?
no subject
[ Considering how much of a flurry of panic and feathers is going on, it's hard to tell who's winning.
So she just snaps the tip of a stick in her mouth. ]
But knowing Hibiki-kun... there must be a reason she's here and she'll attempt to reach her goal come hell or high water. Or rather... come vultures.
no subject
...Didn't she announce some sort of winner recently?
[Something about--
Oh.]
...I think I might know why.
no subject
[ Because sasuga, Hibiki-kun. Offering herself as the grand prize.
There's a blink though as she takes the rest of the biscuit, turning her attention back to Lavi. ]
You've stumbled onto something?
no subject
[He suddenly sounds tired.]
Chinatsu is one of Shun's shinki.
no subject
[ Cue one exhale there. ]
Yes. That explains everything. Poor thing would do anything for certain things. Though you certainly have to give Hibiki-kun points for facing the flock.
[ Why aren't you two helping...? ]
no subject
[He crosses his arms, watching the sight unfold before them.]
Though facing Chinatsu, too, might be another story.
[Way to give moral support, you guys.]
no subject
To be honest, I can't tell which is going to be a more formidable challenge.
[ She bites off the end, tilting her head. ]
Do you think they're naturally trained to attack or were they trained specifically to guard against Hibiki-kun?
no subject
[So. It could be both really.]
Should we go get some coffee after this?
no subject
[ Have a small teasing smile there. She can't help herself sometimes. ]
But then I really didn't have anything else to do this afternoon. Coffee sounds fine. Maybe by the time we get back, Hibiki-kun would have sorted out whatever business brings her here.
no subject
[He grins at her, teasingly.]
We can only hope. As long as she doesn't come out of this hurt aside from a bruised ego, anyway.
no subject
[ Have a smile back. Smooth man, real smooth. She appreciates that. ]
Though if Hibiki-kun does end up with a bruised ego, she'll either bounce back from it as quick as she usually does or we'll find some way to pull her out of it, yes?
no subject
[Lavi almost snorts.]
That's true. She doesn't really need us worrying over her. [...Much.]
