[The musical variety tonight has been nice, she's noticed - just one more thing to appreciate about the gathering.]

[The first two things seem reasonable enough, but as soon as she mentions she has no guarantee it'll actually work here, Shun's interest wanes somewhat.]

There's a good chance you'll have to rule it out eventually. Some people's abilities come through to here intact, but some don't, and that sounds more like one rooted in your world.

A lot of people who have a reason for fighting aren't fond of being told what they should do with it from on high. [She had not heard, and the offer certainly IS a kind one. She'll have to think about it, for the offer's own sake but she's still unsure about a replacement voice. It just doesn't quite feel right.]

It depends on why you think it is they "must" fight there. Not everyone would agree. [Regardless of other factors, all beings have some kind of bias. The old gods here have proved, if nothing else, that gods aren't beyond that.]

That's not all the time in the world. [It's something on Shun's mind increasingly often the longer he's here. There's woefully few people who've been here as long as he has, and he wonders whether there's any meaning to that, or whether they're just overdue to disappear.]

But I can't see you finding out something that personal. [Shun's certainly not revealing it himself, and Ren isn't the sort of person to give up those matters easily. Revealing the depths of their trust means revealing things about themselves that neither of them are prone to sharing easily.]

[He's so calm and casual about this that she can scarcely believe it. Her neck and shoulders shift to the side in curiosity but she carries on.]

[She does have her other ways to respond, her phone being in the small purse she has on her arm, fashioned from the same shadowstuff as he dress. But if they're about to be dancing perhaps now is not the best time to take it out.

She glances at him, the square of her shoulders helping to show where her focus begins and gives a quick little shrug of agreement. As the dance continues she seems to glance back at him a couple of times but mostly her attention seems drawn to the dance floor.

Maybe if she watches everyone there she can pick things up before it's her turn. That's her line of thinking anyway.]

[In Hibiki's favor, besides having a nice voice to listen to, Celty doesn't mind much the imbalance in conversation. For someone who can't talk to begin with, listening to others is something she is used to and is fine with, so long as they're not insulting her.

Her neck bobs slightly again in conversational and sincere agreement as she keeps on moving with the dancing prince.]
