[She clasps her hands and smiles brilliantly at him. He probably had recognized her already, since she'd given the dinner speech, but she can be polite anyway.]

[ Yeah, it's been a while since anyone aside Alex used his real name, and that's probably a good thing. Language, accent, and all those things that make it almost always into a situation where it's like... your boss gets your name wrong again, and you can only sigh with resignation.

Only this time, she really is his boss, kind of! ]

You almost got it, little lady! [ Well, she tried™ that's what's important! ] A pleasure indeed. I'm enjoying my time here. And you're an incredibly charming company.

[ He probably should ask her, why is he here. Why not in Ireland- but he risks that they will send him there- and as curious as he is, it's probably for the best his not near his homeland, or gods forbid, his godly father. The level of awkward would skyrocket. ]

Nah, don't worry about it. It's a name from a country far away from your own.

[ And before he can even think if it's appropriate - PROBABLY NOT - he reaches to pat her head. All kids are getting headpats, this is a reflex. ]
