[ Sorey laughs a little. ] But, you're pretty blunt, too. [ He nudges the other gently, offering a teasing grin. Really, Mikleo can be blunt when he needs to be the most - but Sorey's grateful. After all, Mikleo's always trying to look out for him. ]

... It's alright if you don't feel the same as I do, Mikleo. [ Sorey says softly. ] To tell you the truth, I'm just happy I got to tell you. And... I'm happy that you aren't mad.

That's all you have to say for yourself?

[ He gets a brow raise but, clearly he's not anywhere near serious with Sorey's response. IT was very Sorey like for him to respond the way he did. Mikelo can't help but stifle a laugh himself. ]

If I'm not, who knows what else you'd do to exhaust yourself.

[ He gets playful shove back for the budge back. That's completely true. Mikleo's always making sure that Sorey was safe and unharmed, even in situations where he was quite aware that his God was going to be fine. He was just so used to fussing over Sorey, that it became second nature. Sometimes, he had to stop and think for a moment why he suddenly instigated some actions. Either way, it was never a boring day with Sorey, and he'd be happy just doing everything he could with his God. ]

Simple and modest, aren't we? [ Mikleo gives him an eyeing look. ] Would anyone be mad at someone who earnestly confesses their feelings? It's like I don't love you-- it's kind of more complicated than anyone.

[ No memories and all. Would he understand what it means to love someone-- or even Sorey if he had some memories? That was the wandering question in the back of his mind but he had to slowly dismiss it, because too much negative emotions can hurt the person he's trying to protect. Mikleo definitely never wanted to do that-- hurt Sorey. ]

... Yeah.

[ Sorey's eye grow distant for a moment at that. He knows - rather, he knew - and that's why he hesitated in telling Mikleo how he felt. After all, Mikleo doesn't have his memories like Sorey does. Mikleo doesn't know their history or what they talked about at home - the things that they had done together. And for Sorey, that was alright. It wasn't anything Mikleo could control.

At the same time, he can't deny that it hurt a little. How could it not? After all, it has to be confusing for Mikleo: knowing that they're from the same world, but not remembering anytihng else.

Still, Sorey is grateful. He was able to met Mikleo here. ]

There's no rush to figure anything out. [ He'll wait for him. And whether Mikleo feels the same or not - then either way, it's alright. ] Still, it's because it's pretty complicating that I waited to say anything.

Can you think about it at your own pace? [ He doesn't want to rush Mikleo to give him an answer... ]

[ Mikleo notices that much as he looks back at Sorey. It's a tough topic to be on and the both of them were quite aware of how dangerous it can be, thus it definitely took a lot of time and thought to bring up such a serious and sincere topic. He really did want to remember things he couldn't though. It would help but he had to be patient. Instead, of forcing things to happen, he'd let it go.

It's not like he wasn't making new memories. He was fond of them and he loved them all the same. It did hurt him a little, thinking about what Sorey must be going through on his own and Mikleo being unable to do anymore than give his support to the best of his abilities without triggering anything. Despite all of this, he never once regretted his choice, or disliked his time here.

He made good friends and he had someone important to look after. Memories or not, he couldn't leave Sorey alone for a second. It just felt right being here, no matter how he looked at it. ]

Yeah, I can see why you waited to bring it up.

[ He nods, offering Sorey a kind smile. ]

Of course. You put your thoughts and feelings into this.

[ he'd never forgive himself if he didn't properly give Sorey an answer, but his God was right. Time was he needed, perhaps to think about it on that level, to reminisce on the things that he had done together with Sorey here and what it really meant to him. ]

[ It's a mutual feeling, really. Mikleo was home to him. It was a feeling that he had gotten right away when they'd met here. He felt like he belonged near him. Funny, isn't it? They never had to partner up, and there was always that chance that they wouldn't have run into one another. But, here they were.

Still, he isn't asking for Mikleo to remember. He knows the risk of it. He's just happy to be by his side - just like this.

And, really... They've made precious memories here together, haven't they? They're helping people. He might not be the shepherd here, but he's in another role where he feels like he's fulfilling his dream in another way entirely. There's always new sights to see and things to explore. ]

... Yeah. Though, someone told me I should tell you as soon as I could. [ It... really wasn't that easy, though. ]

[ Without a doubt, Mikleo knows this as well. He'd think about everything properly, and give Sorey the answer he deserved. After all, his God did the best he could to tell Mikleo how he felt. He couldn't give the other any less than his best. It was true. By some threads of fate, they were here, together with one another, as if it had never once changed.

The rules and laws were different, he was sure but everything was almost fundamentally the same. At least, he felt that way. He knew that Sorey wasn't rushing him to remember anything or telling him he needed to. He knew the other had patience and one day, he'd have his memories back. Then, he'd be able to convey everything properly-- no he still could convey everything properly even if it seemed like it was impossible.

He never backed down from any challenges and the days and months spent with Sorey was more than enough for him. He was just happy being there with someone he cared about, doing everything with them. ]

Sometimes you-- need a little push.

[ His tone was light, but he understood. Whoever it was that convinced Sorey to tell him all of this must be a pretty amazing person. Mikleo understood that this was not an easy choice. There were definitely outcomes that would be less favorable. Still, there was no way that Mikleo would reject Sorey. In his heart, he probably already was aware of his answer. ]

That's true. [ Sorey smiles at him. ] Or sometimes, other people can help realize things that you didn't even know yourself.

[ He wouldn't argue that Tatara was amazing. He'd helped Sorey, even when going through what had to be difficult. He hopes that Mikleo was able to meet him here. After all, Tatara had said that he'd wanted to meet him.

Though, they've been standing here - unmoving for what seems like a while. He offers Mikleo a grin then, gesturing towards the door. ]

You wanna go take a walk? [ They could talk more or just... walk side by side. Sorey was fine with anything, as long as Mikleo was there with him. ]

Yeah, you're right. It is different from the perspective of someone else.

[ He nods his head, the smile never actually leaving his face as smiles were quite contagious at this point. Mikleo would always be happy to meet any friends of Sorey's. Especially, those who seem to be really helpful to his God and friend.

Mikleo noticed it as well that they had stopped somewhere, caught in their conversation that the rest of the room was forgotten. ]

Sure. I don't think I'm cut out for this "dancing."

[ Not that he didn't enjoy it but some air might be nice-- especially ifhe could spend it with Sorey. ]

[ There's a pause on Sorey's end, and he hesitantly extends his hand for Mikleo to take before pausing. ]

... You okay with this? [ Holding hands, that is. His heart is beating pretty heavily at just the thought of it... ]

Y'know, I bet it's really beautiful outside tonight, too. [ It did seem like a good day to just take a walk out. ]

[ Mikleo takes a moment to realize what Sorey is doing. He still feels a bit flustered about the whole situation that had transpired, but it definitely didn't steer him away from such a gesture. Eventually, he reaches out to take Sorey's hand into his. It felt oddly familiar to him, the act of holding of holding hands. ]

Yeah, I think so.

[ He smiles. He knows Sorey's trying very hard to make him feel comfortable and he didn't want to let things become awkward with them. It's not like he ever disliked anything that happened. ]

Y-Yeah-- the sky is clear. Maybe we'll see the stars.

[ It definitely seemed so. It will help him calm his own beating heart. ]

[ Mikleo's had reaches for his, and Sorey feels his chest swell with happiness. It's a little strange - how Mikleo's hand feels like it fits so perfectly in his. His hand tightens around the other's gently as they walk.

Eventualy, they find themselves outside. Sorey looks upwards, eyes wide in some awe. ]

It almost seems like the stars shine brighter here than in the city.

[ It's not like him to get embarrassed over small things like this, but here he was trying to hide his embarrassment, while looking away for a moment until he calmed down. Even though they weren't technically alive, they still felt sensations that seemed very much like they were still living and breathing. The warmth was nice and he couldn't help but feel some sort of comfort with it.

He was lost in his thoughts for a moment longer, before looking up at the stars in awe as well. ]

Yeah. Without the artificial lighting, the sky seems much brighter.
