And I've got my mind.

Who: Grell and William
When: October 6th
Where: Temple of Ma'at
What: There are apologies to be made.

I'm outside. Come meet me?

[ The points of Grell's teeth press into her bottom lip, as she taps 'Send'.

Yes, she's feeling a tad anxious; she'd made a grievous mistake last night, and hasn't any idea how to make up for it. It isn't often that she regrets her actions - far more rare, is for her to bother addressing it at all.

This is William, however. More specifically, this concerns how she'd just thrown away the opportunity to taste success after a century-long pursuit of his affections. At the time, it made perfect sense to her, but now...

Now, she stands outside the entrance to his temple, waiting. Intruding would not do her any favors, at the moment, and she wouldn't care to bother with his shinki, either. Not while she has so much on her mind, and must command herself to focus. ]

[ A brief nod and he indicates the open door with a glance towards it - the calmest, and least violent, way he's ever shooed her out of a room, to date. ]

Until tomorrow, then.

[ Perhaps because he's used to this short display of affection by now, or perhaps simply because he isn't looking to ruin his own tranquil mood just yet, William refrains from shoving Grell away. Instead he gives her a brief narrowing of his eyes as a warning not to push her luck. Thankfully, for both of them, she has enough sense to step away after the brief, intimate contact.

And once alone in his temple again (aside from that other woman he'd rather continue to pretend didn't exist in his presence), William takes a questioning breath. As calm as he feels right now, he can't help but worry that this decision to become closer with Grell could have vastly negative results, if not handled in a precise way. It's a thought that will linger with him until the next day, when they see each other once more. ]
