Who: Eiji and Ankh
What: Prayer # 11
Where: Out and around Tokyo
When: April 4
Warnings: Nothing off the top of my head

The prayer was a plea for help. The man who had made it at his wits end with his search for employment. No matter what he did, no matter how much he searched, he could never seem to find a place that would hire him. And that is where Eiji and Ankh came in because the prayer was to the god Fortuna. They were to help the man find a job and give him back some confidence in himself.

It sounded simple enough but they would have to be very thorough in their search along with finding the jobs that were within the man's skill set. Eiji didn't waste any time in starting the search when he and Ankh made their way to the Near Shore, searching for places that were advertising that they needed more help while the rest of the world passed by all around them.

When the first thirty minutes of searching didn't turn anything it up it became obvious this was going to take a while.

Ankh turned on the machine and went through the password easy. He opened a few files, clicking his tongue at a couple of them before finding a half-finished resume. He stared at it for a moment and then sighed, shaking his head.

"Well. This needs a lot of work. Eiji, find out if he has school papers and former paychecks from other places of work."

He had to take a look to find the resume, it wasn't like the guy actually labeled the files in a fashion that made sense. As it was, the whole thing looked like someone was trying to be funny and show off a sense of humor they were never born with. Ankh huffed and pulled out his phone to look up a few proper resume examples and then deletes what there was written done.

"Also make sure that he has some normal paper for his printer. Patterned paper is fine for personal stuff but not for a business thing."

He double-checked his minutes while he waited for Eiji to get back to him and heaved a sigh. He was going to do something about that soon.

"Can't be too careful," he muttered and took the notes.

He really wasn't sure how Eiji managed to actually talk to the guy to get this stuff, or what the guy was told about their appearances, but he was going to sit here and concentrate on just typing this out like one of the resumes he had looked up. It had to be simple and to the point without being totally without personality, and while Ankh was ready to just toss everything at Eiji to do it, he knew that the shinki was not that comfortable with computers.

He never was okay with them in the past. Eiji might have been okay with a simple phone, but setting him in front of a computer was just asking for trouble. So Ankh was just going to type it up and print out a few test sheets before he was satisfied and did a few real ones.

"Okay. So a resume will help tip the balance for a better job, and then we need to just shove them into places along with the applications and go from there."

"He has some experiences that we can also use. I know he says he has hit them all, but if he didn't have the right selling point to use, they would have skipped him."

He's been reading it up in between waiting on the information and actually taking this job. One of the things that he should be good at was at least looking things up to give a little good fortune this guy's way. Ankh went back to the computer, closing the Word program and opening the browser.

"Let's pull up some job listings and see what's up with them."
