Who: Caster and Alex
When: October 11 (early morning after the event)
Where:Oshun’s Temple
What:Caster checking on Alex after the Orihime’s events
[At this point, Alex couldn’t deny how tired she was. After searching for two days nonstop, as well as helping out with those prayers, Alex felt wiped out. As reluctant as she was to return, she transported herself to the outside of the river goddesses’s temple. She let’s out a sigh as she looks at the entrance, walking towards it until she reaches the front steps. Maybe Tem had returned, she hoped, despite sensing nothing. Letting out a drained sigh, she turns to sit on the steps, hugging her knees and burying her face in her arms. No matter how many times she told herself it was too soon the give up, it was hard to fight off the nagging feeling that told her he was really gone. Heading inside would only confirm that.]
See? I told you I’d always be the only one left.
[A deeper sigh this time as her hands tighten into fists. She didn’t even have the energy to try and fight him off this time. Why was he always proven to be right..?]

Either way, I'm not going anywhere.
[ How easy to say that just after he returned from death. Well, it's a promise of this moment of course. No one knows what tomorrow holds... ]

[She slips her feet out of her shoes, bringing them up to fold against her as she wraps the blanket around her shoulders. She won’t lie down, but she’ll lean back against thr couch, comfortable enough with the blanket cushioning her.]
Sorry..you just came back from...dying..and you’re already having to take care of me..
no subject
That's nothing to apologize for, that's what friends are for.[ He says as he scatters colorful stones on his lap. Some already have runes carved on the, but he picks the empty one. If she's decided to not sleep, maybe he could use it ]
Tell me something about Tem. [ What he likes, what he doesn't, where he goes to if he wants to be alone. ]
no subject
He likes..big open spaces. Also water, he enjoys swimming. He does like pretty things too...like..shiny or sparkly. Tem's go expensive taste.
[Alex couldn't help but smile as she recalled these things she had learned about him. It always gave her such a warm feeling to see her shinki enjoying himself.]

Thank you- that might be what I needed. [ And he drops the stone he was using, instead searches the pile to find an unused amber. He got no gemstones, but hey a semi-precious stone could work, right? After more looking he also locates a carnelian and shows both stones to Alex, so she doesn't have to unburrito herself ]
Would he like these?
[ No, he's not making a dragon bait, thank you very much ]
no subject
[At least, to her they were. But Alex didn’t know much about gemstones.]
I’m mot really sure...when he disppeared, something of appeared, and the stone was about this big.
[She holds out her hands to show an estimate, about a plate’s size.]
I’m not sure if that would be enough.
no subject
If he left something that might be a clue, we should investigate it later.
[ If the stone is as big as she shows, it's way too big for the trick he's going to use. But there still might be something important about it. Suddenly he gives her the amber, with finished inscription ]
You'll have to hold it for a while. [ An object linked to the interest of person they're searching for, and touch of someone who holds him dear. That's a lot more than he usually gets. ]
no subject
Am I..supposed to do anything?
[Alex was quite certain she didn't have any magical powers. At least, aside from the abilities given to her when she arrived.]
no subject
And keep yourself warm.
no subject
Is that part of the spell r are you just being nice?
[Yup. Still a burrito.]
no subject
It's absolutely part of the spell, you must hold it for a while. [ He finishes carving the carnelian, and hands it to her too ] And this, always good for having a spare. In case it runs away too fast.
no subject
[What exactly were these stones going to do? Alex finds herself clutching them tighter. The stones are smooth to the touch, and she can't help but roll them around in her palms. She did feel bad about not doing much else, but she knew nothing about magic.]
no subject
[ He prepares quickly the third stone, and to demonstrate he moves at the other end of the hall and drops it on the floor. The stone shines brightly and moves at an incredible speed in Alex's direction stopping dead right next to her feet. ]
Like this. So best brace yourself for some running.
no subject
[But she'd just gotten into a burrito! This was not ready for running. She scrambles to get her feet down and slip her shoes on, minus the use of her hands.]
no subject
no subject
O..oh...
[Now she felt silly for panicking like that. She folds herself back into the burrito, taking a peek at the stones in her hand.]
This..Is this..gonna tire you out or anything..?
no subject
It's a simple spell, really. It's not taking much of my reserves. Barely noticeable.
[ Besides he got back with full battery, turns out dying here has it's perks ]
no subject
Okay..Just..don't push yourself okay? You just got back..
[From, you know, death.]
no subject
[ Sadly, it is a limited amount, but it's not like he's entirely without options about replenishing it ]
Nap first, then we'll search again. I can nap with you if this would make it easier for ya.
[ Napping company ]
no subject
Now normally she'd question the offer since it's not like she was a child, and it seemed like Cú's usual teasing, but things were a little different this time around. Being alone didn't sound appealing to her.]
...If it's okay with you..
no subject
Sure it is, nap at this hour is my favorite past time. [ Well, maybe not by the book at this particular time, but he does like to lounge, no lie. He grabs another blanket and throws it loosely around himself, not to the level of safe burrito, but enough to keep warm ]
See you in an hour. [ Or more, if he can help it. She must get a bit more sleep than an hour ]
no subject
Mm, okay.
[She gets a little more comfortable in the blanket, but it'll take more time for her to sleep. Her eyes close, but she just played with the stones in her hand, which kept her conscious. His presence was comforting, which at least had her feeling more relaxed.]
no subject
Maybe he's moving in his sleep, or maybe it's a comforting gesture. His eyes are closed if anything ]
no subject
Sorry...[ She whispers softly. His hand does keep her from fidgeting more, which in some way, helps her body relax. It was comforting. Damn, she felt like a big child.
no subject
Come on... There is nothing to apologize for.
