[closed] EVERYTHING IS AWESOME
Who: Takuto and Mizael
What: Welcome tothe Phallus Palace the home of the god Fascinus
When: SUPER BACKDATED to March 26
Where: All around Takuto's temple.
Warnings: More dicks than you could shake a stick at.
Before them is the grand temple and a few already-lit braziers giving a warm glow to the white pillars. It seems lighter at the far side of the square temple, probably due to the fires reflecting off the surface of the pool. The floor is polished, but mostly covered with cushions and pillows and low chaises and a few bowls of ripe fruit.
On the other side of the great temple, to the left, is the Japanese-style building that Takuto prefers to the temple. On the right is the cottage adorned with roses. The cottage has most of the actual amenities because the dojo is empty except for the tiny music room and the painted screens and the beach bungalow is really only set up to make food and drink for some kind of beach party. However, despite there being a bath and a half, walk-in closets, a full kitchen, cozy fireplace den, an entry tunnel, and a glass-walled patio in the cottage, there's only one bedroom.
Between all the buildings is a grassy slope, which, on a night like this, would be perfect for viewing the stars.
"Well..." Takuto says with a heavy yet forcibly cheerful note, turning to Mizael, "This is home!"
He just hopes that somehow, Mizael doesn't notice that every single piece of art contains a penis.

Still, it is a nice looking place and he can see why Takuto might already be seeing it that way.
"It seems comfortable." Nope, he doesn't seem to have noticed, since he's just curiously looking around at everything. "It looks like there's plenty of room."
no subject
"Yeah, so I was thinking that you can choose your room first, and then I'll pick one? If you want two rooms that's fine too...." He points towards the cottage. "But I think that's the only one with a kitchen and bathroom, so we'll have to share the house at the very least. Unless there's one hiding somewhere in the dojo...."
no subject
But it's not Takuto's fault and he doesn't really have his feelings sorted well enough yet to rant at someone he doesn't know, so he goes back to looking around again soon enough.
"That's fine. I have no problem sharing." He pauses to run his finger over some wings in the decorative edging of one of the lounges. "I wouldn't mind staying here."
no subject
But Takuto's trying to not stare at Mizael's casual caress of the decorations. He clears his throat, trying not to feel so suddenly flustered. "S-sure, this place is all yours." He's quite happy, really, to give Mizael the giant temple space, as it just seems far too Roman God of The Divine Phallus for his tastes. But is it... is it weird that Mizael likes it so much?
Is Mizael trying to hint at something here...?
"Do you want to take a look at the other buildings? And look, we're right on the beach!" In short, please take your fingers off the decorations and look someplace else, you're making Takuto start to blush.
no subject
He quickly drops his hand and turns away from the offending piece of furniture. "You said there was a dojo?"
Diversionary tactic or not, he is genuinely far more interested in that than anything in this building.
no subject
"It's got a lot of rooms but so far they're all empty," he says as he sits on the porch and kicks off his shoes. "Except for some decorations and there's a koto and a flute in there somewhere, but I can't remember where."
no subject
At least until it's clear Takuto has stopped walking, and then Mizael frowns at him taking his shoes off for a moment before deciding that there's probably a reason and starts toeing off his own boots.
"We should look into getting some equipment, then. Not much, some kind of targets to hit at the very least..."
no subject
"What is... I mean, all shinki turn into something else, right? What do you turn into?" His expression is curious as he sits at the edge of the porch, swinging his legs back and forth, like some kind of little kid.
no subject
"I don't know. They only told me I'm supposed to turn into something to aid you--" and boy, does he sound irritated about that "--but not what it was." He eyes Takuto thoughtfully. "You don't know?"
to be honest, he kind of thought Takuto would have either been told or would just know, since surely one of them would have been told something that important.
no subject
It must be like apprivoising! That's it! He's done this sort of thing before, really, calling the one he's partnered with and--jumping to his feet with a sudden flourish, he grins widely at Mizael. It's all familiar to Takuto, as if he's done this and said this before, even though this time, it's a little different. But there's still that energetic radiance filling him up as he reaches a hand towards the shinki.
"APPRIVOISE! CHIKIIIIIII!!!"
Somehow, instinctually, he knows Mizael's other name.
no subject
But of course, there's nothing to defend against, nor could he even if he wanted too, since the effect of calling that other name is immediate. He feels a light tugging at his chest and then the rest of his body in a way that's almost familiar--and then with flash like lightning, he's suddenly in Takuto's hand in the form of a jian in a plain wooden scabbard.
And even though he somewhat knew it was coming, suddenly being in an unfamiliar shape and unable to move is really alarming, so he silent for the moment while he tries to stay calm.

no subject
"I should hope so." Not that he can tell the specifics from his position, but really. It's only natural he'd be striking in any form. "A sword...so beautiful and useful. I suppose I can live with that."
He really thought he would hate this, and he does still dislike the idea of it and the feeling of not being able to do anything, but it's almost worth it if it means being admired too.
no subject
"It's a good thing I have a background in swordsmanship, I guess," Takuto says with a laugh, and he's back to admiring the starlight on Mizael's blade and checking out the reflection of the firelit temple and the dojo. He flips the scabbard around, holding it as if it's also a weapon. "I suppose I can also use you like this, too?"
They were obviously meant for each other if Mizael was indeed meant for two hands.
no subject
But Takuto seems confident, and his idea isn't a bad one, although it's going to take some time to get used to the feeling of being in two pieces or being swung around and manipulated like that. A deep part of him doesn't like it--a part of him that is admittedly squashed silent every time Takuto raises him up to admire him.
"We'll have to see how well I'd hold up to that. But I should at least be able to shield you somewhat."
no subject
And then he very carefully replaces the blade in the scabbard and lays Mizael down on the edge of the porch. "Revert, Mizael." How does he know what to say and do for his shinki? He just does, and trusting his instincts is something Takuto is very good at. He doesn't really wait for the shinki to change back into his humanoid form and just continues talking. After all, either form it's the same person and obviously he can sense what's going on in either form.
"Maybe we can pick one of the rooms in here for a training space, or at least to store training equipment if we want to practice on the yard."
no subject
"Or both. You said there were several rooms that weren't being used." He stares at his hand for one last moment before finally looking at Takuto again. "You'll need to get used to wielding me--" he's still not quite comfortable with that, but at least he's comfortable enough now to say it "--but I'd also like to train with you like this. So we'll have to get practice weapons as well."
no subject
He wanders into the expansive house that is apparently going to be their training dojo. Maybe if it rains... if it ever rains...? Maybe they'll practice inside but the yard really seems like the better option as long as they don't fill it full of stuff at night.
no subject
"...I don't know. Perhaps we should ask one of the others. There must be a god of combat or two who have also needed to find training equipment."
But speaking of types of gods...Mizael crosses and arm across his chest and rests his chin on the knuckles of his other hand as he thoughtfully eyes Takuto's back. This is maybe not the best time to bring it up, but he's been curious since their talk earlier and then Takuto's brief bout of changing colors a few minutes ago.
"By the way, you were going to tell me what's so embarrassing about being here."
no subject
"Er... you didn't seem to notice...?" He was certain Mizael had noticed the giant flying penis braziers and every piece of decoration in the temple? He'd been--for lack of a better word--fingering that chair, after all!
Past the next doorway of the dojo is one of those folding panels, and this one is decorated in relatively mild erotic imagery. Relative to the roman-style temple, that is.
no subject
Seeing the (slightly) more accurate depictions in the temple did make him think he's actually seen that before. It had been hard to tell when it was pieces of food.
"But I don't get why you're embarrassed. They just looked silly."
Other than the wings, but still. Clearly, the decorations are not the reason Mizael felt like sleeping there.
no subject
"Mizael, you're the shinki of a penis god. How is that not embarrassing?"
Yes, the whole phallus-themed temple is definitely silly, and awkward, and how is anyone normal ever supposed to ever sit in those chairs? Or sit peacefully in the dojo with the decorative walls, or the not-so-cute pictures on the walls of the cottage? The whole package is silly, and Takuto is almost wishing he'd died and become a shinki instead of having to find out he's been reincarnated as the Roman god of dicks.
no subject
"...Isn't like being a god of...hands? Or hair? Not very useful, but you have other skills that are..."
Somewhere between Takuto glancing at his crotch and his decision that it was some human thing and the images in the temple, he did actually figure out what they're talking about here. Or rather, he's making an educated guess based on what vague knowledge of humans he seems to have.
no subject
It finally actually dawns on him that Mizael actually, truly, really has no clue that this is embarrassing. Or why. With a sudden feeling of near-horror, he stares at his shinki seriously. "You... you're... Mizael, you have a dick, right?"
WHAT IF HE DOESN'T??? Takuto won't think less of him if he doesn't, to be honest, but it'll definitely make Mizael seem that much more foreign and mysterious.
no subject
"Yes? I should in this form." He's fairly sure that he wouldn't normally (not that he remembers what "normal" is exactly, just that it isn't this), but being in a human form means he has everything and has to do everything a human would. But it's not like he's looked yet.
