Who: Ichiru Kiryuu

What: Ichiru couldn't find his god, nor could he call to him, and came to some obvious realization through his own observations.

[ The temple was gone, and so were the things that were with it. Left with him was a simple book in the middle of what used to be the Temple of Hades. It took him a moment to process what could have possible happened but he had no answers for it. The only thing he really knew was when gods left, so did the things that belonged to them. No Zero and no Cerberus. The large pomegranate tree was also gone.
The book was left where it was for a long moment. It didn't get touched until Ichiru finally picked up the thing. It was a simple title "The Prince."
To him, he didn't know what to feel at the moment or what to make of the situation. His heart tightened with some sort of familiar feeling that he couldn't recall but he knew that it was pain. Perhaps, it was the feeling of sadness over loss, or maybe the hurt of being left alone. It was only a short time that he recalled these memories, and now it would have been better to not have them-- no he always wanted his memories. That hadn't changed. Whether he could do without them or not he wasn't going to dwell on it.
Regardless, it didn't help the situation at hand. Somehow, it was always like this. It was better to not open up to people, or even befriend them, because in the end they would leave. At the very least, Zero never had promised that he'd stay with Ichiru. He only promised he'd never betray the younger brother. That he did not do. It might be best to have someone approach him, given that he would remain here until he was faced with reality. ]

[ At some point-- or with some contact, he managed to get back on his feet, but wandered aimlessly, thinking of what had transpired. He still couldn't find his God-- his brother. No matter how long he called, no matter how much of his emotions emitted from their bond.
No answer... no response. In the end he found himself wandering to the one place that he always ventured to when he didn't want to be found-- or seen. The bar that belonged to Izumo. Whether it was opened or not that day, Ichiru just sat the side of the entrance with the book that was left with him to chest. No one wandered the streets around this time and no one would see him. There was no need to worry about showing weakness. If he had seen anyone familiar, he would leave on sight.
However, right now, he was still trying to figure out everything. ]

Empty
Imagine her surprise when she does find him, not inside the temple, but not outside of it either. He was just standing there, in an empty space. Her pace slows down as she scans the area, not sure what to make of all this.]
Ichiru--hey, what happened here..?
[She finally makes her way to him, but as shameless as she was about his personal space, there was something about him that made her cautious. As if she were unconsciously worried he might break.]

[ As fun as that would be to do, he wasn't in the mood right now, much less even caring about her pointless rematch. He had more important things to be concerned with when she came all excited to see him. In fact, despite her usual appearance, he didn't even notice her presence but less her arrival. Normally, he would just be the first one to say something sarcastic at her for her approach, but not today. He was staring at the book that was sitting in his lap. That was all he could really see right now. There was nothing else he could decipher right now.
He knew the answers to everything and asking why would proved useless at this point. He knew that one day this would happen. He didn't expect it to be so soon. Despite, her questioning, he gave no response back. He didn't even look at her at all. He just blankly continued to stare into the empty void that was Hades' Temple or whatever remained of it. ]

Ichiru, where's the temple? And Zero-san...?
no subject
It's gone.
[ He replied, simple and blunt. His tone didn't seem too bad but his body language said otherwise. ]
Wandering (i should be sorrier than i am for this)
[ Hibiki can tell this person is having a Dramatic Moment. One might consider leaving him alone in deference to genre -
But this requires commentary. ] A splendid title.
haha it's all good!!! <3 always need a Hibiki in my life~
1/2
was SHE
just
ignored???? ]
2/2
Is that the version by Machiavellpri? Your taste is excellent.
[ And therefore you wouldn't dream of deliberately ignoring Shikyoin Hibiki!
Yes? ]
no subject
...
[ His pace only quickens as she tried to match his pace. Normally, he really would be quite snarky with people like her but right now he wanted to be by himself, and that in of itself was a ticking time bomb.
He's definitely going to keep walking faster. Read the atmosphere, girl. ]
no subject
[ The atmosphere is coming through loud and clear, here. She is trying to override it.
With minimal success. Now her intended audience is not the only person growing more irritated by this encounter, or lack thereof. ]
no subject
Don't you have something better to do?
[ Oh look, who decided to finally speak, but wasn't looking at her. ]
no subject
[ Okay, that's it. She can't even put up the inkling of a facade: Shikyoin Hibiki is hereby peeved. ]
Speak for yourself! Stay inside if you don't wish to be addressed!
no subject
Says the person who is completely insensitive to someone's personal space. Perhaps, if you weren't so self absorbed, you would at least understand that I have no reason to address a complete stranger that I have no relations to.
[ Each sentence that rolled off of Ichiru's tongue was bitter and sharp. He's not in the mood to deal with her crap right now. ]
no subject
[ And yet....
...and yet....
She can't dispute his point. Thus, humiliation of humiliations, Shikyoin Hibiki is both taken aback and seething. She will have a brilliant comeback! In a moment!
But right now is for her reaction time!! ]
no subject
[ He mused in return to her protest. There was nothing wrong about his wording. He could have been more discreet but this was Ichiru they were talking about. He's not good with mincing words. ]
If that's the case, you should be on your way-- go play with someone who wants to give you attention.
no subject
[ Hibiki can't stop bristling. The fact that he's correct about her ignoring his body language does nothing to diminish her irritation at being belittled.
No, worse than that: ] There are limits to insolence!! THE HUMILIATION OF MISLEADING ME INTO SOLICITING AN IDIOT FOR CONVERSATION CANNOT BE BORNE!!!
[ Because that's the real problem here. She'd thought he was worth talking to, but he doesn't recognize genius on sight.
How dare he trick her like that?! ]
no subject
Insolence? Have you looked in a mirror?
[ He almost scoffed. ]
Honestly, I hate people like you, who's clouded by their own arrogance, expecting everyone else to bend to their call. Even more so, you result to pointless screaming when things don't go your way. I wonder who the idiot is. It's almost embarrassing to watch.
[ Trick her? She chose to personally force herself on him without asking. If she was more considerate, he might have thought otherwise, but right now. Not so much. He honestly, found her presence almost repulsive to some extent. He couldn't really pinpoint why, but needless to say it didn't matter. He didn't care about what others thought of him. People who had already known the real him have accepted all of this about him. ]
no subject
[ Hibiki turns. ]
Do as you wish! I'm leaving!
[ THAT WILL SHOW YOU
And will also remove her from this unacceptable situation in which someone, due wholly to their own ill nature, turns her own words around on herself and paints such an unflattering portrait!
Even if everything but the idiot part may possibly be true -
THERE ARE SOME TRUTHS EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN TO SAY! ]
no subject
He kept walking off with the book in his hand while she left. At least he got some peace and quiet from all the yelling. ]
no subject
maybe lavi
or wendy
either would be preferable to this ingrate! farewell!! ]

no subject
What a near miss. She almost associated with an inelegant person. ]

In any case... ]
Wandering
He frowns, but does come up to him, moving around Ichiru to open the door. He looks over at him.]
Do you want to come in?
no subject
Now, he was just blank of thought, staring into the emptiness, waiting for some sort of solace. Who knew what he would be seeking now. What purpose did he have now? Who would he follow? Could he even trust people anymore? In reality, he never blamed Zero, not once because there was no control over the things that happened. People were taken and put back as if it was nothing. In the end, there were no promises between them, just silent words of acknowledgement. He looked up at Izumo's voice, interrupting his thoughts. It takes him a moment before a slow nod came from his head as he pulled himself to his feet. ]
