What: An open shopping log for people to use for all their shopping needs! Winter and holidays are coming so it's a good time to get a winter wardrobe and think about gifts for other people. Or yourself. Nothing wrong with buying gifts for yourself. Free to shop wherever and whenever, but some prompts are included under the cut if you need ideas.


Raffle Rush
To drive up business, several local shopping streets are holding raffles! Each purchase at a store earns you a ticket. The grand prize of a hot spring vacation package is already claimed in a few areas, but maybe you'll be one of the lucky winners in some of the remaining spots? Or if not, there's always the second place prize of a cozy new kotatsu, or other prize packages including coupons or local goods.

You're the Piano Man
Various pianos have been set up around the Near Shore with signs encouraging passersby to play. Do you dare sit down and play a few notes? Maybe encourage someone shyly watching from a distance to play. Or maybe you'll sit down and enchant everyone with an impromptu concert.

Winter Illuminations
Multiple shopping centers and shopping streets are alight with winter illuminations. Thousands of twinkling lights strung overhead, covering bushes and trees, or in the shape of snowflakes, snowmen, and other festive shapes light the night. Enjoy the sight alone or walk through with a loved one, these displays will be around through the end of the year.

Always Ayakashi
Packed shopping malls, not being able to find the shirt you want in your size, frustrated shoppers, there's a lot of negativity brewing around and minor ayakashi eager to feed. Help lighten the mood for everyone around and take some ayakashi out as you browse between stores?

[Cute. It's not a word she often gets. Beautiful, attractive, sexy, but never cute. Yet there's something nice about cute. Gentle. Sweet.

Ginia blushes a little as she realizes she would like to be cute. She tucks the hoodie back into the bag and smiles at Alex.]

I'm hoping I can find a few more things. Though I guess I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for, just some warmer clothes.

[Her fingers tap together as she looks at Alex. Alex is so pretty and her outfits are so nice so maybe...]

[ Alex can feel Ginia's eyes on her, and somehow that makes her straighten up a little more. ]

Ah--I'd love to. I'm trying to find warmer clothes too. I can't say I have very much...[ She chuckles sheepishly. ]

There are so many stores I don't even know where to start...Jackets look like a good idea though. Maybe sweaters?

[ Ginia always looked so cool, and looked great in her jackets. So maybe...?]

[Sweaters! Ginia lights up at the idea; some of them had really nice patterns worn into the yarn and the ones long enough to wear as dresses look cute. She glances around at the stores around them, gesturing at a nearby store with some cute wool coats, sweaters, and cute blouses on display.]

I think you would look really pretty in a sweater dress. Or one of the coats!

[ Proper winter clothes. How exciting was that? Alex wasn't a fan of the cold, mostly because Barry didn't provide much in terms of proper wear. It's been nice being able to buy her own things now. And to do so with a friend? The compliment has her smiling shyly, but she's beaming. ]

A sweater dress sounds nice. Ah--and I like the colors of the coats. There was a jacket earlier that I thought would look great on you. Oh, and we should probably get shoes, huh?

[Ginia looks at her combat boots, the toes showing heavy wear. She's picked up a pair of lighter sneakers for training and running in and a pair of heels for the God's Meeting, but it's been awhile since she's bought shoes. A warmer pair of boots would be nice if it snows.]

I think so, or at least warmer socks. I'm sure there's a store around with winter-appropriate shoes.

[For now, to the coats and sweaters! Ginia gravitates toward the store, admiring the colors and patterns. There's a trend toward neutral greys and browns, but deep reds, greens, and blue also seem to be in. Ginia pulls a grey turtleneck sweater dress with a cable knit pattern off the rack and offers it to Alex.]

[ Alex turns as she's filing through the rack, and she looks over the sweater Ginia's holding out, reaching out to touch it. ]

This does look pretty warm. And feels nice too...I haven't tried a dress like this before.

[ And it did look nice! But would it suit her? ]

[ She holds out this jacket. She wasn't sure if it was to Ginia's tastes though. ]

[Ginia takes the jacket, fingers running along the soft lining inside. It reminds her of her snow leopard form. It's not as dense or soft, but it feels like it'd be warm and comfortable. The style of jacket is very nice too.]

I really like it. It's really warm. Let me find an outfit I can wear with this jacket.

[ This was such a strange feeling. Spending time with her out here like this. It was a pleasant feeling though. Which might be why it was so strange. ]

I'll go try the dress. [ She heads over to one of the changing rooms to change into it. After changing into it, she checks all sides of it, smoothing out the dress. It was different from her usual clothes. Did it suit her? She found herself asking that quite often since coming here. All these things that seemed so normal, could they be normal for her? She was starting to hope so. ]
