Punks Fighting Punks [closed]
Who: Fushimi and Yata
When: December 4th
Where: The Near Shore
What: So a spirit is being a graffiti artist and local punks are getting blamed for it. So two punk shinki go down to handle it. Flawless plan. (Or: Prayer 54)
[Fushimi isn't even paying attention to where Misaki is leading him, much more interested in his phone and his hot chocolate than whatever shenanigans Misaki is dragging him into.]
If you're not going to drink yours, I'll take it.

[ He deliberately takes a pointed sip, shooting Saru a defiant scowl as he turns them down another alleyway, taking them systematically as he goes through the back streets of this little town. ]
You have your own.
[ Despite the easy banter, his eyes are searching their surroundings, watchful and alert. ]
no subject
[Just saying.]
Where are we even going?
no subject
[ Which, so far, there's been surprisingly little of in the alleys they've been down, but he supposes maybe that's why this prayer had come through, if some had started showing up in a town that normally had none. ]

[Sip sip.]
How fishy?
no subject
Who knows, maybe it's not fishy and we just gotta beat up some artistic punks, but either way it still helps Izumo, right?
no subject
[He stretches.]
I'm missing one of my shows for this, you know. You should thank me.
no subject
You said it yourself, it should be easy. Go home if you're bored. I can probably handle this.
[ Because his last venture out on a prayer alone hadn't gone terribly at all. ]

You were the one complaining about missing your show. I was just trying to help.
[ Although a moment later, he stops abruptly, coming to the end of one alley and the cross with another. Even from here, the familiar clicking sound of a spray can being shaken can be heard, before the sound of paint being applied can be heard.
Pressing a finger over his lips, he glances back at Saru and indicates ahead of him. ]

Looks around our age.
no subject
[ He nods towards the pants with a telling stripe down the side, even though he's got a hoodie on to hide whatever his shirt it. He frowns slightly, watching. ]
I guess the age fits the graffiti part, but if he's from around here, why's he starting this now? Especially if he never did it before?
[ Yata can tell just by looking at him that this kid's a spirit. Not one of the mortals they'd come here to answer the prayers of. ]
no subject
Bullied into suicide.
no subject
Shit. You think?
no subject
no subject
So should we talk to him instead?
[ Somehow, roughing up some teen who'd been through that didn't seem like so great an idea. ]

[ Yata's already stepping out of his hiding spot and into the alleyway, starting to approach the spirit, who looks up and tenses as he notices them. He's pale and thin, lanky almost, hands gripping the spray can he holds in a white-knuckled grip as he stares at them warily.
Yata holds up his hands where the guy can see them. ]
Chill. We're here to talk to you, dude.
You... You can see me?? [ The spirit clearly hadn't expected that. ]
no subject
[Technically.]
Revenge graffiti?
no subject
I'm not hurting anyone. [ It's said a little defensively.
Yata glances over at the wall, where the art is already taking shape, and the distinct outline of a name is already visible. ]
Maybe not directly, but you've been leaving names painted all over town, though, right?
no subject
no subject
How do you know about them?!
no subject
[That was easy. Fushimi sighs.]
You were a student around here who was bullied into suicide, so now you're trying to get back at your bullies by claiming they're all in a gang. Am I right?
no subject
I didn't tell you all that! Who have you been talking to?
[ Yata elbows Saru in the side to caution him to tread carefully here. ]
No, but Saru here is really good at putting two and two together and you told us enough. So that's really what happened then.
[ The boy shifts nervously, looking like he's thinking of running anyway. ] What's it matter to you?
