What: Mingle log with folks invited for a buffet dinner at the temple and folks can hang around afterwards too. I've included some prompts, but you can absolutely start your own. Any excuse to hang out with Yoon and Yona's extended CR is a good one.

Before Dinner / Gathering
Yoon is running bowls of food -- see below -- in and out of the kitchen to the hall where everyone gets to eat, so he's harder to get to stand still, but by all means use the opportunity to chat up people. You might find yourself sitting next to someone for dinner that you don't know, or you may want to explore the temple grounds until dinnertime. There's a lot to explore.

Dinner! Help Yourselves!
Yoon naturally took point on what the dinner would include, but he basically made a traditional spread of food - he thinks it's traditional anyway - resembling a giant lazy susan table with rice, a variety of meats that were marinated before being cooked, and grilled vegetables. The table is big enough for others to sit all around the circle, but move the wooden table around to get at the various dishes and pluck pieces of food from them. The rice also has a scooper. There is even stock soup resembling miso because that's what he was able to find on short notice when it occurred to him he should have soup, but didn't have enough time to make his own stock. Of course there is a pot of black tea too.

Near the wall, sitting on cold plates on a more traditional side table, there is also fresh fruit and a variation on lassi - a kind of pudding or yogurt. There's also glasses for milk shakes, but the ice cream and milk is currently being stored so it doesn't completely melt until they're ready, because of course he has milkshakes due to certain influences. Yoon doesn't get to be extravagant often, and Yona insisted if they were going to invite people that it be something pleasant, so he did indeed go all-out.

After Dinner: Bonding Time Etc.
At some point during the meal, Yoon will mention the pools at Yona's temple - Cnoc Áine - where people are able to bathe completely submerged and help wash away their blight. He considers this to be Extremely Important and if your characters - gods or shinki - haven't bathed in holy water within the last week, you can be sure that Yoon will insist on them hanging around long enough to bathe, alone or in a group as they're comfortable. By all means ask him why he finds this so important, or ask Yona about it. Unfortunately, the pools only heal under moonlight, so you can potentially hang around the temple for awhile, or leave and come back, although Yoon might seek a very sincere promise for the return. Good news is that it's winter, so 'moonlight' happens earlier. If Yoon happens to notice any tears or rips in the clothing that your character sheds in order to bathe, they might find them patched up by the time they put them on again.

But if you want to escape the oppressive Mom-ing of a worried Yoon, then you might try to engage some of the horses on the temple grounds, or take a walk through the immense halls and gardens.

[ He does feel rather dismissed. From what little he knew of Jae-Ha, he certainly had strong opinions and didn't budge as easily as this. Either the memory loss drastically affected Jae-ha or something's awry here. ]

I know I'm younger and shorter than you. You don't have to rub it in. You think anyone else is going to oversee your training as much as Yona and I?

[ He's not the type to pick fights in a physical capacity, but a mental challenge he can certainly do. ]

[He laughs softly.]

Don't sound so offended. Yona-chan's told me about you.

[A pause and he looks curious.]

She's told me that you're a Nora. [Whatever that means.]

[ Well at least he doesn't make it sound like a bad thing to be a Nora, unlike some people. ]

I don't like the word Nora and what people use it to mean, but yes technically I am.

[ He looks over at Yona. ]

I went where I was needed. Yona didn't have a shinki and I couldn't leave her alone.

[Ah, that gets him to smile, almost fondly.]

She does seem the type to get into trouble, doesn't she?

[Even if he hasn't been around long, he already gets that kind of feeling from her.]

Of course she is! She wants to help people, and that's an honorable trait, but none of us can do everything alone-

[ He gestures to himself. ]

I'm no good in a physical fight. I know that. I can make some ointments to heal up after and I can turn into a vessel as a shinki, but that's it. I don't love the idea of fights anyway.

[ He grumbles that last bit. ]

But Yona seems to find fights no matter what, so having someone she can depend on is important.

[ Then, he turns to Jae-ha directly. ]

Two will be better, though.

I say this would be a good match up then since we can balance each other out and make things a little more fair.

[He doesn't mind a good fight once in a while.]

As long as Yona is safe, all the better.

Huh... well that's a possibility.

[ Almost like him and Alibaba for Hitsugaya. ]

Do you know what your vessel form is? Because that would be the other 'balance' factor to consider.

I'm a pair of short swords.

[He pauses.]

What about you?

Oh... hmm, well a bow and quiver. So that's long-range.

[ He's been learning! ]

Which at least means that now Yona can protect herself at short-range as well! I was starting to get worried she'd have to hit an ayakashi with my quiver in a pinch if she missed with an arrow. It's a little more useful than some of my other forms I've had, at least.

[....The image of Yona using the quiver to hit an ayakashi is amusing.

He stifles a laugh.]

It does seem like we do balance each other out then. She's got both long and short-ranged weapons to keep her protected.

You're right. I'd rather her not have to fight at all except to protect herself. I'm glad that she's that sort of goddess too, who doesn't want to just fight and cause trouble for others. Or risk her shinki for no good reason either.

[ He's very happy that Yona is a peaceful goddess. ]

Indeed.

[Yona is the best goddess.]

Seems like we got lucky having such a goddess.

Well... you got lucky. I had to make the choice for myself, and I chose well. The first two times I didn't make the choice myself, and I was unlucky in that way.

[ But- ]

I think so long as we support Yona like this, then she'll outlast my unluckiness.

Or maybe she's just become your good luck charm.

[Since Yoon doesn't seem to be so unlucky anymore?]

[ He's a little flustered. ]

Th-that's dumb.

[ And he's totally using it from now on. ]

But if you say so... I guess you could be right.

[He holds back a snicker.]

Nothing ever wrong with having a good luck charm, right?

I guess it's just... that I wish I didn't need one either. That I could accomplish things on my own without things like "luck" or "magic" to get through it, but if my "good luck charm" is someone like Yona...

Then I'm not going to turn her away either.

[ It's a frustrating conundrum for him. ]
