I pray You pray.. Oh~ 真実のストーリー
Who: Reisi Munakata and Fushimi.
When: Backdated to Nov 22.
Where: Xihe's Temple.
What: Reisi unlocks Fushimi's saber.
[It doesn't take lone for Reisi to look for what Yata had described as 'the big Chinese-looking place with a bunch of crows around it'. After all, both Nekhbet's and Xihe's Temples are in the Central District. Though, Reisi's only visited once before, giving Fushimi his birthday present. So he hadn't really looked around the last time he'd been here.
It's quite lovely. Reisi quite appreciates the traditional Chinese look and feel to it.
In any case, it's time to text Fushimi about his arrival.]
I'm at Kusanagi's Temple.

I'm at Kusanagi's Temple.

It's not hard to spot Munakata, so Fushimi heads over.]
Hm. The horse must be on the other side of the temple.
[Saru what.]
no subject
... You don't strike me as an animal lover, Fushimi-kun. Is it your pet?
no subject
no subject
Do you have other pets, or just the horse?
[Because now he can't help getting a little sidetracked here.]
no subject
no subject
How many did he buy?
[This may all be small talk, but it'd be nice simply getting up to speed with Fushimi.]
no subject
[And you bet your ass Fushimi spoils those cats as best he can. They have a cat tree.]
no subject
Then you're both animal lovers.
[A small pause.] So, how do you like it here?
[In general, of course. Because at least Kusanagi has always been reliable as far as Reisi knows. He wonders if Fushimi had asked to be named.]
no subject
Judar's a pain in the ass but Izumo's the only god here I can tolerate.
[His opinions on his boyfriend are obvious.
Also he is not an animal lover, but he knows you just want a rise out of him so nyeh.]
no subject
Because it's unfair. Whatever force sees to bring them to these Heavens changed Kusanagi from a shinki to a god. And maybe Kusanagi doesn't feel the same way, but Reisi feels sick at the thought of being indebted to Suoh and his people.
And then, of course, there's his own relationship with Tatara...Anyway, before he goes too far down that train of thoughts, Reisi offers an affirming nod.]
I see. I trust it's a decent enough fit for you.
Well, in any case, this seems as good a place as any to get started. Did you bring the saber?
[Mostly asking out of formality's sake because that's just the way he rolls. Given this is the whole point of Reisi coming to Xihe's Temple, it only makes sense that Fushimi have the blade with him.]
no subject
[He pulls the saber off his hip, holding it out to Munakata. He has no idea how this is supposed to work, but he's assuming Munakata needs the sword.]
....thanks.
no subject
Now then, if you would kneel, Fushimi-kun, I'll begin the ceremony.

In one swift and elegant motion, Reisi easily draws the saber from its sheath. As he solemnly taps each of Fushimi's shoulders once on each side with the flat of the blade,]
Take up the rhythm within your heart, you within whom the pulse of power resides. Protect order and ensure peace upon Heaven and Earth—become a guardian of justice and swear upon this sword that you will wield it with pride and conviction.
[Then, he returns the sword to its sheath.]
Rise, Fushimi-kun. Take this sword to wield my power, for you truly are a blue knight of righteousness.
You can now draw the sword so long as you state your name and intent to do so. The sword will become an extension of your being.
no subject
But Fushimi says nothing as he stands, taking his saber back and turning it over in his hands to see if anything seems different. Nothing does, so he takes the hilt.]
Just...Fushimi, draw or something?
[What kind of anime bullshit is this?]
no subject
Nailed it.]Precisely. For example, if I were to draw my sword, I would say, "Munakata, ready for battle!"
[For the most part, he speaks in his usual unaffected tone until he reaches the last part, where he seems way too pleased and excited even though he's not actually drawing his saber at the moment.]
no subject
Hm. Fushimi, ready for battle.
[He tugs on the sword and--
It slides out easily.]
Huh.
no subject
[For all his confidence and excitement, Reisi seems surprised, but only because he's never seen anyone else draw their saber. Enomoto disappeared all too shortly after Reisi had unlocked his blade, and had never actually drawn it. So it gives him a swell of pride to see Fushimi draw the sword.
He gives a thoroughly pleased smile.]
no subject
Huh. That's my vessel form.
no subject
[His own vessel form is to become like the cravat at his neck with the ability to share his powers with his god.]
What might your abilities be in that form, if I might ask?
no subject
Tactics is the best way to explain it.
