What: Zelda holds a council to discuss the cult and get everyone on the same page regarding them and other related incidents.

it has come to my attention that several among our number have been pursuing their own investigations regarding the organization responsible for the forest incident and their activities. as such, i would like to propose a gathering to share and discuss our findings as well as subsequent courses of action and, if necessary, potential defensive measures to ward against future strikes against us. to this end, the temple of metis will be open to all willing to participate in this sharing of information in two days time, with formal discussion beginning after noon. as the bbs is not the most secure vector for distributing information, i would ask all recipients of this message to please pass it along to any interested parties that i myself might not be aware of. thank you for your time, zelda, princess of hyrule p.s.; chikusa, i will have a new hat for you if you extend our deal to this meeting.

In summary, come to Metis Temple in two days for an asskicking if you wanna talk shit about cultists. Tell your friends.]

[The day comes and the dumb puzzle door that usually bars outsider entry into the temple's underground complex has mercifully been left open. Luminescent crystals light the way as visitors descend a stone spiral staircase that eventually opens up to the temple's main living area. A large dining table is the central focus and many chairs surround it, including some that were clearly brought from other spaces to accommodate a large group. Some couches off to the side have also been turned away from the fireplace that banishes winter's chill in order to provide further seating for those in attendance. A beanie sits unclaimed on one of the chairs. For refreshment, a kettle of tea is available in the kitchen, as well as a plate of festive sugar cookies. Store-bought, unfortunately for those who are picky about those kinds of things, because any attempts made by the temple's current residents to cook are met with utter and complete disaster.

Speaking of festive, the entirety of the temple's interior is currently covered in glitter, tinsel, and mistletoe. Dear Amaterasu, there is so much mistletoe, and you likely aren't leaving here without finding glitter still stuck to your person hours later. Zelda would really prefer if you would not point any of this out. Minako is just very... enthusiastic about the season, that's all. Be thankful she couldn't get a tree down here.

At a certain point in time, Zelda will formally call the meeting to begin, but until then everyone is free to mix and mingle at their leisure. Just... please don't ruin her house, okay.]

I can take a look and tell if it's not a complete bogus. [ Being Caster has its perks. Not that he considers them as such, but if he can be of use here, that's what he should do. ]

Telling how effective it is, is completely different though! [ That would require testing.

DOES ANYONE HERE WANTS TO SUMMON DEMON FOR SCIENCE? He doesn't, but if the general consensus is to do a stupid thing he's probably the one to supervise it. Ah, cringe ]

And if he was successful it's impossible to say if the demon would share information what it was needed for. [ Leaving that here before someone wants to summon demon for sake of interrogation- wait, with a proper binding spell that could work. ]

[Aside a few other details, mainly summoning a demon for something as mundane as interrogation. Seriously.]

Seems like the vice principal was another pawn. Did he mention how the book got lost?

[Please no one summon the demon for science. It's bad and goes against all academic and scientific standards. Also no one wants to fight a demon. (Except for the people that want to fight a demon.)

[At the privacy of their temple. She's not trying to hide things, but the more Caster can focus the better. The vice-principal certainly wrote a lot of pages for Shun and her.]

He says it vanished the same day he cast the spell. He said it went wrong but didn't expand on how. The result might better answered by anyone around that time. May, I believe.

[Suzaku is sat trying to look as if he sat through conversations about hypothetically summoning demons every day.]

So this demon summoning book may be in the hands of another.

[ You know you have at least one person who wouldn't mind fighting a demon. Though definitely not going out of his way to summon it first, that would be dumb. Like very dumb. Like what most of Caster's do actually, but you know, he's not one of those crazy nerds. ]

That sure makes it sounds like the demon is still at large. However got the book might have seized control over it already.

[Shun's mostly just been listening in on this one, but at Caster's comment on the situation with the demon, he does feel he should probably step in. He's more than likely the only one at the meeting qualified to answer the question of what happened to the demon, bar maybe one other person who hasn't been speaking up much anyway.]

I was there the day it got summoned, and it was destroyed by the end as far as I saw. I wasn't the one to destroy it, unfortunately, but I'd say it's safe to assume whoever took the book has something else in mind.

[Shun had been a bit too screwed up that particular day to jump in to destroy it himself - especially considering Joker would've loudly disagreed - but he had at least stayed long enough to make sure someone killed the thing.]

[ It's good to know for certain that they don't have a potential demon scuttling around the Near Shore. Ayakashi are enough of a problem. ]

Did he give a reason why he summoned it though? There usually is one. [ Usually, because unfortunately, he can imagine a mage who summons a demon purely for shit and giggles. Mages are weird. ]
