[CLOSED] Engagement with a New God
Who: Ichiru Kiryuu & Anduin
When: Dec. 24th
Where: Anduin's Temple
What: Ichiru wanders aimlessly per usual and comes across his new God's Temple without realizing due to a few friendly dogs.
He's not sure how long he's wandered or what came across his thoughts. It felt very odd to continue a month without the presence of someone he had always felt next to him no matter the costs. Even the people that he had somehow became close to were gone as well. He saw neither Takuma or Itachi after a while and assumed the same fate had met them as it did his brother. He still carried around the book that was left to him in a small bag that he had on his form.
He saw no reason to pursue anything and kept to himself. He had distanced himself even from the few people that he had some approach with. Today was usual. Nothing special, just him and himself. He wandered past a temple that he had never seen before but was quickly making his leave, only to be spotted by some friendly dogs that seemed to be part of the temple. It took only a matter of moments before the dogs found their new play buddy. They rushed at him as he wasn't far from the temple, barking happily, as if welcoming him home.
A part of himself really had a soft spot for animals. They neither betrayed or hurt him. They were just there, to be pleasant, caring and did not judge what crimes he had committed, if any at all. He was still stuck here, with his memories of Zero and nothing else. There were many parts of himself that he couldn't recall or find but the matter only reminded him that he couldn't focus on it too much if he didn't want to turn into a mindless beast. Not that it wasn't a choice or not. He chose to kee himself at bay for the most part. Though, he couldn't imagine being another God's Shinki at this point-- or even being able to trust them. He even thought about approaching Izumo about it but he knew he was a burden and could not find the words to speak to the other about that, even though he had spent a considerable amount of time staying there.
Ah, well it doesn't matter. He focused on the animals that had playfully licked his face. There were more than he had expected and each one was treated just as kindly.

So Anduin lapsed into mostly-silence for awhile, giving the man his space to tend to the dogs and dwell on whatever thoughts kept him so tense and unhappy, his own voice only a quiet murmur for the dogs benefit now and again. The largest one, satisfied in Ichiru's attention, returned back to her own boy, settling at his feet like a great, shaggy bodyguard. Others, well-behaved but lively, yipped and tugged at toys with one another, sometimes dropping their makeshift toys at Ichiru's feet in hopes that he would throw.
No take. Only throw.

It looked like he spent enough time playing with the dogs, one after another barging at him, and not letting him leave when he felt like he wanted to leave. The other had more or less stopped conversing with him for now and it made it a lot easier for him to manage with the dogs that were prying for his attention. Most of which were surrounding him so much that he had a hard time even getting up from his kneeling position.
He stares at the dogs as they dropped the inanimate objects in front him, staring blankly at them for a moment. How spoiled they are! Just because he pet them once or twice, now they want his full and undivided attention. How perplexing. He seemed a bit hesitant, though.
