I wish I could be as carefree and wild
Who: Keith and You!!
When: Any time between January 3rd-6th, before the newcomers start pouring in.
Where: Around the Far Shore - is he scouring the land outside of your temple? In a public space? Follow your heart!
What: K i t t y Q u e s t
[Following the abrupt disappearance of Yog-Sothoth’s temple and his unexpected days-long-nap, it doesn’t take very long for Keith to realize something somewhat distressing - the three cats that had made their home at the temple are nowhere to be found. With snowfall starting to creep more and more into the weather forecast, it’s for the best to try and find them as fast as he can, lest they find themselves subjected to the consequences of cold weather exposure…
Or, maybe he just really needs an excuse to keep himself busy and hold off on confronting him own troubles over Futaba’s disappearance. But, you know, still. He’s not going to just abandon a trio of cats who are used to spending time indoors, either.
Equipped with a few sheets of paper with the cats’ likenesses drawn on them, as well as a small bag of cat treats, he’s looking high and low, any place a cat or two might take shelter, which is naturally going to lead him to investigating around a bunch of buildings. Any spot that looks like it might be a cozy enough hideaway is getting a thorough look-over, even if that means sneaking around someone else’s property. It’s for a good cause. Of course, with the affinity so many heaven-bound residents have for cats, it’s only natural that he’s going to attract a good number of incorrect felines. Probably yours, if they have the freedom to go outside. Heck, his endeavors will probably catch the attention of some other temple specific critters outside of cats, too. Imagine.]

sandshrew if you’d like for one of the cats to be at your character’s temple, or want them to discover one of them together! Otherwise I’ll assume a fruitless search, but... maybe the real cats... were the friends we made along the way.]]

[Easy enough, he can't argue with a simple request when Yoon's so enthusiastic about it. If he can figure out something extra on his own, he'll have to do that, but for now, there's no reason to say no.]
You know where Red's parked, we can take off whenever you're ready.
no subject
[ He grabs Keith's hand and starts to run back towards the courtyard where Red is chilling. On the one hand, yes he's excited, but not really that excited.
No, he just wanted to goof off a little and startle Keith, while also getting them moving.
Still, Yoon's laughing as he runs, dragging Keith if he has to. ]
no subject
I already told you, I'm not going to just run off!
[Still, his spirits are lifted, and with that, the two of them can take a ride easily...!]
no subject
[ Yoon let's go of Keith's hand just long enough to turn around - continuing to jog backwards while he raises his hands in a cheer. Then, he turns back around, continuing to run again with a simple grin over his shoulder at Keith. ]
But I suppose I'm happy you're the one who's going to show it to me.
[ Ever the sarcasm from Yoon. ]
no subject
[Though... with how varied the skill sets of people here are, there's always the chance that Yoon does know someone else who could show him. It wouldn't surprise him, but either way, meet sarcasm with sarcasm.]
no subject
As long as you acknowledge it.
[ A sort of "you said it, not me" from him. Then they reach Red again, and Yoon waits patiently near the mouth Keith exited from originally. ]
no subject
Sorry I don't have another chair for you. [Something... to keep in mind? Perhaps.] I'll make sure it's a steady flight, though.
yeah I went for it lol
[ Yoon looks around, realizing what Keith said. The idea of jostling around without anything sturdy to hold onto is definitely nerve-wracking. He doesn't know about seatbelts, but that's essentially what he's looking for. ]
I'm, uhm... small enough to maybe...
[ He's not embarrassed to be asking, he's literally just scared. ]
What if I just sat in your lap instead?
[ After all, Keith came back taller and wider and generally bigger, so that point has some merit. ]
hell yeah u did
This will be Yoon's first time flying, so it's probably kind of intimidating. It might make maneuvering a little weird for him, but... that's not really a good enough reason to turn him down, he figures. He's good enough at flying Red that it shouldn't be that big of an issue. After a moment of thought, he relents.]
All right. [He takes his seat, leaving an opening for Yoon to join him.] Don't worry, I'll make sure to keep you from getting jostled around.
[For whatever heartache his nap may have caused, waking up broader has some kind of perk, at least.]
\o/
[ That's what Yoon thinks, anyway. When you have one horse and two riders, the bigger one sits behind and the smaller one in front. Right? Right.
With that, he gently takes a seat. Yoon marvels at all of the controls, leaning forward briefly to look at them all, before sitting back again. ]
A little jostling is okay, you know, I just didn't want to hit my head on any of your... metal cat equipment.
no subject
I'd like to think I'm a good enough pilot to keep that from happening.
[Once he's gotten himself situated, hands at the controls, feet at the pedals, and view clear in front of him, he starts up the lion. The monitors suddenly clear up as the power starts going, giving the two of them a wide scope of their surroundings.
The landscape of the temple is impressive, surely, but you know what's even more impressive? Watching the landscape of the temple as the head and cockpit of the lion smoothly raises up to its proper position, giving them a nice, high vantage of the grounds.]
Ready?
no subject
[ Yoon sucks in a long breath as he watches the scenery change. He's also very politely surprised to find how smooth a ride that first bit is. ]
Wow... Keith...
[ He twists a little to see Keith's face, in awe. At least Keith appears very in control of what's going on. That reassures Yoon a lot. ]
no subject
Pretty impressive, huh? [He knows it'll get even more incredible shortly, but building up the excitement for someone totally new to this is kind of fun.] Where should we go first?
Picking an icon is a good plan
Where... Hmm...
[ He looks awed again as he tries to comprehend just how far they can go by comparison with how far they can walk. ]
Can we go to the gates? Or... past it?
