[Closed] Cause these days, I'm running on fumes
Who: Yuya & Shun
What: It's time to d-d-d-d-duel!
When: idk I'll figure this out on Yuya's timeline of things later lol
Where: Around the lake of Veles' temple.
Warnings: angry birb probably
[The location of their duel will by the water where Yuya's tied up his small rowboat along an old, wooden dock. He's all for teleporting around, but he's never really had the experience of rowing a boat and it's kind of fun. Besides it's a bit of a workout and that'll help keep him in shape.
So Yuya just waits on the waterfront while laying around in a patch of grass and getting some sun. As much as he DOES want to indulge in an entertainment duel, there's something he wants to confirm. Which means it's time to be serious and NOT give into the temptation of surprising Shun. Hence the sunbathing.
...But being serious can be surprisingly hard. He really needs to take a page from Yuto's book.]

Depending on how attentive Yuya is, there may be one immediate difference to notice from the Shun he's familiar with - rather than his coat being intact, the bottom of it is shredded and torn, like it's quite literally been dragged through hell.]
I would have thought you'd have better things to do than lie around. [Or bigger things to worry about, at least.]

Doesn't waiting for you count? Besides, I have my own projects going, but that doesn't mean I need to be with them 24/7.
[Yuya finally gets to his feet before he gives Shun a good look. Seems about the same, but...]
Do I have to worry about you being in a rush? [Despite him starting up his duel disk, the phantom's demeanor is so lackadaisical as he spins around and creates some distance between them for their field.] I guess we'll have to get right to it, then. It's not really my style, but some sacrifices must be made.

It's not like it matters now, anyway.
[Still, he's already a little more alert. It's subtle things, the way Yuya's talking when he twirls and brings out his disk, the things he's focusing on, but there's something...odd there, he thinks. It's no more than suspicion, but there's a confidence there he doesn't recall seeing in Yuya outside of mid-duel.
In any case, he pulls out his own duel disk and arms it, bringing the second inconsistency on his end - his duel disk looks nothing like any duel disk Yuya would be familiar with. Rather than the simple Standard design, it has a particularly large, round screen set a little further up than the rest of the disk, which is a harder rectangular shape than the rounded-edged Standard disk.]
Whether you need to worry about me being in a rush depends on whether you're planning to waste time on words. [Yuya's dueling style of itself involves a certain amount of what he considers wasting time, but that's something he's already accounted for and accepted.]

[It really sucks that he can't use Action Cards, but the phantom still trusts his deck to carry him through. And after drawing his cards, a confident smile appears as he starts his play:]
I summon Entermate Uni, and with her effect I special summon her partner, Entermate Corn. Now you're really in for some double trouble because I'm not done yet! By activating Corn's ability, UniCorn are switched to defense and I can add one pendulum monster to my hand.
[Hearts, hearts are everywhere! At least Yuya's enjoying himself surrounded by his cute assistants. Although that's really not the point-- he's waiting for Shun's reaction with this replicated play from their duel together.]
I add Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon and set one card face-down. I'll end my turn there.
