Who: Everyone!
What: A little bit of explanation, thank goodness.
When: Early morning. (February 15, 2016)
Where: The Heavens. Specifically in the Meeting Hall.
Warnings: Exposition is coming your way, sit back and enjoy the show!

The Heavens have summoned you. And there is no way to turn down a summons from the Heavens. Of course, some of you know where you are and what you are probably doing here, but most of you might be completely confused as to what is going on. All gods have been ushered into the meeting hall, where every person suddenly becomes anonymous and obscured, while every shinki has been gathered up outside in the hallway, both sets to listen to the same message sent by Amaterasu herself. And while you cannot see her properly or really figure out what her voice sounds like, you definitely know that it's her speaking:

'Welcome, one and all, to Takamagahara. There are many new gods and shinki here today, and I hope you all find your stay pleasant. I wish that I could explain to you exactly why you find yourselves here now, but I am unsure of the details myself. Please make use of the shinki dedicated to our services in order to make yourself more acquainted with your new position. You can find them by looking for my golden insignia.

As compensation for the trouble you are all being put through, I have had a wonderful feast prepared. I only hope that it is to your liking. Feel free to eat and drink as much as you would like, though please do not leave before the clock chimes midnight, for that is when your homes will be prepared.

I ask that all pre-existing gods please help those new to our ways. Let them know what is and is not acceptable and what duties will be expected of them. I am counting on your all to support the Heavens in this confusing time as we attempt to sort things out.

Thank you all for your time. And I am truly sorry that you have found yourselves in this situation.

With that, the figure that is Amaterasu bows deeply and disappears from their sights. The gods are released from their chamber and the shinki are allowed to roam. All exits are manned by a white-clad shinki, bearing a golden, embroidered Chrysanthemum on their chests. So, technically, there is no way out. You can't even seem to teleport out by any means.

All that's really left to do is enjoy the food and hope that you'll actually be able to leave after the clock chimes midnight. Though the clock doesn't seem to work on a minute-by-minute basis either...

Banquet Hall

There is food from literally every culture and walk of life here. Everything is prepared gorgeously and deliciously, no expenses spared. There are shinki bearing the Chrysanthemum carrying out new platters of everything as it's eaten up and nothing seems to go hot or cold as time passes - it always at the perfect temperature for eating and it never tastes anything but delicious. Maybe there's a little magic making it taste so good...

On top of the delectable dinner, there are plenty of desserts and every kind of alcohol available and constantly being refilled. The liquor is being offered to gods and shinki alike, no matter how old they are/look. Let's hope that you can hold your alcohol.

Counselling

In the main hallway, there is an innocuous door with a small, nicely written sign that reads "Gentle Counselling". Inside the door is a small room with a few sweetly smiling shinki inside who are willing to listen to your problems and answer any questions you might have. They are also here to help out any gods that are having a hard time dealing with knowing about how their shinki died and also any shinki that is having trouble coming to terms with the fact that they are dead.

Did Someone Say Games?

A large room connected to the back of the banquet hall has a wide variety of games set up for everyone to enjoy. There are old-fashioned board games (like chess and Othello) as well as newer ones (like Candy Land and Sorry!). On top of that, there is every kind of console available with every video game ever made - and plenty of handheld devices for everyone to be able to play. The devices don't seem to work outside of this room, though, so you'll have to stay there if you want to keep playing. Gaming is, after all, a great way to get to know new people!

After Midnight

Finally, the clock starts to chime. It seems like it's been days and yet only minutes at the same time. Time seems to work so strangely here in Takamagahara and it's hard to keep up with what's going on. But now that the shinki guarding the doors have left their posts, you are more than welcome to leave. In fact, the Heavens seem to want you to leave because all of the food has disappeared, none of the games work anymore (including the board games, which keep flipping over when you try to play...), and the friendly shinki are smiling as they usher you out the doors.

You are welcome to start wandering around Takamagahara, but it's an ambiguous sort of place and might just take you straight home anyway. Feel free to go home and start bonding with your partner. Or sneak home with someone else because your partner is a meanie-pants. It's up to you!

In Summary:

Amaterasu says you're stuck here and she doesn't know why. Sorry!
There's lots of food to eat, though! Eat your fill.
Oh, and there's booze too. Try not to get TOO drunk.
Guidance/Grief counselling is available, if you need it.
Use gaming to get close to others!
Try to start bonding with your god/shinki. Or just form new friendships. Whatever you feel best doing!

[Gon perks at that, his face instantly lighting up. That smile becomes a huge grin as he holds the shinki's hand. Yes!]

[He's so happy! Even if Killua doesn't have memories they'll be a team like old times. Fighting with him was always fun anyway.]

This will be great, you'll see.

[!! so energetic, how do you even manage that??

But this... huh. It actually feels pretty okay. Like, Killua's gut isn't telling him this is a bad choice, and he just... knows he can trust his gut. Ugh...]

...yeah. I guess it will be.

[A pause.]

Oh! But, there's this girl. You've gotta take her on too, okay? That's my condition!

[Yeah, he's excited alright. Though he does blink at the condition, eyebrows raising]

A girl? Uh...if she wants to, I don't mind.

[Killua looks a little relieved.]

Yeah, I'm sure she'll want to! She's a real cutie...!

[What does that have to do with anything...?]

[He's not sure what that has to do with anything either. Killua calling a girl cute? Did he usually care about stuff like that?]

Is she strong?

Huh?

[...oh. Right. Um.]

Not really. I don't think so, anyway. I can usually tell if people are strong! And she didn't seem like it.

You just like a girl you met at the party and want her to join us cause she's cute?

[Starrrrrreeee. You're weird. What did you do with the real Killua?

...yeah. Why not?

[He grumbles and scratches his cheek.]

Look, you'll just have to meet her. There's something about her, okay?

[Then he brightens and looks towards the door, waving down the girl there.]

Ah!! There she is!! Over here!

[Hearing a familiar voice, one that has already proven itself to be a friendly one, Alluka's attention drops from whatever it was focused on previously over to Killua. Ah...!

With no hesitation, Alluka trots on over with a somewhat relieved looking smile.]

It's you again...! I was looking for you!

[Paying no particular mind to Gon here. Why with the rudeness....]

[Gon knows this girl! He almost blurts out her name but manages just to gape at her. They're both here. No wonder Killua kept calling her cute. That's his little sister!]

Uh....H-Hi Alluka!

[Gon manages to get out with an awkward wave. This is so weird. Why does he have to be the only one to remember anything?]

Ahhh! Really? I was looking for you too! I've got us a god!

[Like he hunted this guy down and not like he was tackled by him, lol.

He looks back at Gon with a grin, which quickly fades as the other boy greets the young girl.]

Hey, hey, you know her name too??

You did...? [Amazing! Incredible! Somehow Alluka had the feeling that Killua wasn't about to let either of them down with that particular hunt!

Ah... this guy knew who she was already, apparently without Killua having said anything? Weird...]

Hello... [Her tone is a little cautious, but pretty curious, too. If this is someone Killua thinks is good, then he must be, of course, but the whole name business is still a little... confusing.]

[Even though Gon was trying to be careful about it; her name just came out so naturally. It isn't until Killua questions it that he realizes what he's done. He slipped up! Gon stiffens and clamps his hands over his mouth. Oops! Damn it...]

Uh...

[He looks between the staring pair of siblings as he lowers his hand and just uses it to scratch the back of his head and laugh nervously]

Ahaha..It....sorta just came to me! Maybe it's a God thing? I'm pretty new to this too.

[Gon passes off but he smiles at Alluka, giving another wave]

N-nice to meet you! Killua said you're really cute.

[Killua frowns and narrows his eyes. That seems like bullshit, Gon, but...

He's quickly grinning again.]

Well, isn't she?? I think we need to take care of her. So... if you want me, you've gotta take her too.

[That's bullshit but we believe it.

Alluka, at least, seems far less suspicious of the explanation, accepting it as reasonable pretty readily. It must be a god thing, because why couldn't it be? Confusion gives way to a smile, and when Killua seems to be put at ease, Alluka follows suit.]

Heehee...! [Killua saying nice things... somehow that feels really good!] It's nice to meet you too, Gon! [And, since Killua already seems to have convinced him to take the both of them in,] Please take good care of us, okay? We'll do our best for you!

[...Whew! Dodged that one.

Gon grins at Alluka. It really did feel like he was getting introduced to her all over again. He hadn't gotten to spend much time with her. Maybe this time that can be changed. After all, he owed her a lot. Killua and Alluka both...]

We'll do great together. It'll be a lot of fun!

Perfect! So it's settled then, I guess.

[Killua tucks his hands behind his head.]

You'd better get a lot of chocolate, because I'm going to a different god if there's a shortage.

[To Killua;]

That doesn't seem very fair... [Making someone take care of you and then threatening to leave if there's a hypothetical sweets shortage.

Like she gets it because sweets are great but still]

If it's going to be fun, then that's good too, right?

[Gon doesn't bother answering that but he does puff out his cheeks at Killua. So demanding!

But his attention quickly shifts to Alluka. He grins at her. At least she easy to work with.]

It'll be lots of fun, I know it! Uh..I think the place we're suppose to live is over that way. At least that's what they told me.

[Killua gives the little sis a pout, but she's right, he guesses, so he doesn't pursue the subject at all.]

Haaahhh??? They actually told you where to go? I just got booted out...!

It's probably not up to us... ['Us' being the shinki, of course. Which seems a little silly, or maybe a little unfair. But, still, Alluka brightens up a bit, hearing that Gon has an idea of where they're supposed to be going.]
